  1. Some time has past and I was wondering if we could have a second poll to see what people think now that both sides have presented their case in more detail?
  2. From the bbc website: "Some great play by Inverness Caley Thistle, with Ross Draper slipping a lovely ball through for Danny Williams and although his shot is kept out by McGovern, Christie reacts quickly to knock the ball into an empty net."
  3. *off topic The hibs goal keeper just scored for them
  4. Without knowing the number of votes cast, that poll should be taken with a pinch of salt. Also, as I've just done, it appears to be possible to cast multiple votes, therefore instantly losing any credence. The article was written by James Kelly, author of a Pro-Independence blog, so is clearly biased. Tell me about it the snp have a 600 page book outlining what would have to scotland after a yes vote while "project fear" has a pamphlet telling us only the bad things that could happen! If you could direct me to an unbiased view (presumably would have to be from outside the uk?) I would like that but it has boiled down to opinion v opinion and facts are the casualty.
  5. International business times article on the debate: http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/scottish-independence-well-done-darling-youve-done-yes-campaign-huge-favour-1460357 Edit: coming thick and fast today will this hurt the no vote in the long run? http://www.independent.co.uk/voices/comment/now-even-david-bowies-ganging-up-on-the-scots-is-this-how-to-stop-independence-9142266.html
  6. Have a vote in this poll and be shocked by the results http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/politics/senior-snp-figures-stick-knife-4015023 So doesn't that kind of contradict the whole fact that the debate was disastrous?
  7. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/politics/200-celebrities-back-no-vote-4018123 Mostly rich english people with no vote want scotland to stay... I thought we were a drain on resources? Plus having people like simon cowell and piers morgan telling people to vote no is pure gold maybe they should re-animate thatchers corpse for her opinion
  8. Both are just being stubborn on their answers to each question using the pound makes sense from both sides but arguing it's our only option is not the way to win voters on either side. Remember the no campaign is being dubbed project fear so having the head of the organisation say scotland would be okay would be suicide in their eyes!
  9. http://m.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-scotland-politics-28691840 A non salmond answer since as much as you guys would like to think he is not the only choice as the face for independence. I also liked the many parts where darling would refuse to answer if scotland could be a successful independent country....
  10. That thread is for productive discussion and facts, something this thread was destined never to be because politicians were involved. It could have been a rap battle for anyone cared and the amount of voters it swayed... Dj fear V plan B
  11. We beat them 3 - 0 really convincingly last time so no worries from me
  12. This is depressing and for anyone that deals with the horrid world we live in by making sick jokes like me highlight this sentence: Was it a bag for life? what is even more depressing is that the uk sells those child killing weapons to isreal http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2014/aug/05/uk-arms-trade-israel-britain-gaza More forgien blood on westminster hands so whats new?
  13. http://m.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-scotland-politics-26614122 Who cares about the pound when we are the wealthier nation compaired to england and thats a fact you won't hear from the no camp because once darling says scotland can succeed on its own it is gameover but they will dodge all those questions
  14. Salmond was unprepared but darling came across as pompous. If the rest of the uk wants to devalue the pound by not letting us has it **** them! Proof that after independence the english politicians still think they control us. These same people who wont let us have the pound are also saying we cant take the saltire out of the union flag. But hey lets do what darling said and sit on our hands and hope things get better by chance.
  15. Oh yeah very recently my bad :/
  16. I wonder what people would think of signing: http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/nigel-hasselbaink/leistungsdaten/spieler/88212 we have all seen him play and would be far better than so signings but could we justify his wages?
  17. in regards to horner I imagine yogi knows something about forans injury that we don't as he has said he doesnt want to bring anyone in to sit on the bench. Plus the fact we don't know what positions he can play in I guess if he hasn't joined by next week birmingham will be his final test to decide his fate here!
  18. I just found this report from someone who clearly wasn't at the game http://www.fleetwoodtownfc.com/news/article/report-inverness-2-1-fleetwood-1785469.aspx featuring crackers like: "the SPL side went ahead as McKay made no mistakes this time, getting in front of the Fleetwood Town defence to slide home a cross from David Raven." "Fleetwood were in the ascendency and looked likely for a quick fire second but unexpectedly, Inverness hit the Cod Army on the counter attack" "Fleetwood never took their foot off the pedal" "causing issues for Gary Warren"
  19. As for trident and nuclear missiles they will become irreverent in the coming 10 - 20 years and will be replaced by rail guns that fire a solid lump of metal at super high speeds causing the same damage as a nuclear bomb without the radiation. that's a small one just make it 100 times bigger with a steel girder sized object as ammo and you can only really compare it to a decent sized asteroid and of course the Americans have already thought about the idea putting one into orbit in the future and using the heat and force from the entry into the atmosphere to make the impact radius even bigger!
  20. I saw 2 fleetwood replica shirts but it was hard to get a rough estimate as we were all seated in the main stand! Plus the substitute's on both sides got a good reception from both sets of fans.
  21. deaths by country Australia — 2 Azerbaijan — 1 Bulgaria — 13 Czech Republic — 1 Denmark — 7 El Salvador — 5 Estonia — 2 Fiji — 1 Georgia — 5 Hungary — 1 Italy — 33 Kazakhstan — 1 Latvia — 3 Netherlands — 2 Poland — 30 Portugal — 1 Romania — 4 Slovakia — 4 South Korea — 1 Spain — 11 Thailand — 2 Ukraine — 18 United Kingdom — 179 It's funny you mention fairshare.... we have more deaths than the rest of the list combined! Under nato rules you have to be attacked for every state to goto war and we didn't get attacked so NATO was not officially involved so I don't know why you bring them up? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multi-National_Force_%E2%80%93_Iraq Nato members offically not involved (some may have a few casualties on my above list but they were not offically in iraq): canada greece turkey hungary estonia latvia Lithuania romania slovakia slovenia albania croatia
  22. If the trialist was wearing the number 6 he certainly didn't look out of place and wasn't scared to have a blast at goal when nothing else was on. he looked to be playing in cdm a possible back up for foran / draper maybe?
  23. Wait when you say defence do you mean defending our borders or the foreign illegal wars based on false pretenses? 179 uk soldiers dead Between 126,691 – 141,611 Iraqi civilians dead 4489 dead us soldiers Meanwhile this lying war criminal is free and making millions http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/politics/tony-blair/10551183/Tony-Blairs-fortune-boosted-13m-by-bumper-year.html
