  1. Which isn't too much of a problem if you're paying full whack...£5 more for a slightly better view. But for people looking for concession tickets it's £25 more for section I. Can't see anyone going for that. Bit disappointing as we must be close to the cut-off point for online sales, half the East Stand is still empty and nobody can buy a ticket for it online.
  2. Going retro...
  3. I think for this game the G section will, as usual, remain as some mysterious place that we'll never reach. Barring G1 - G6 (which you don't see so much on telly anyway) it's going to look pretty full.
  4. Yogi putting MacKay on for Esson was just an affirmation that we are treating this as a practice match and trial before the big one. Zero cards picked up. This must have been the easiest game the ref has ever had.
  5. Not blowing my own trumpet but...
  6. Because we don't want to risk Raven and Draper before the final? I predict Doran will replace Christie pretty soon.
  7. Don't give a flying feck if we lose 8-0 as long as Esson, Devine, Christie and Williams come through unscathed. These boys have far bigger fish to fry than this. And sort your lineups eh Scotty :)
  8. SFA have sold about 300 of the 750 tickets available for the Switzerland section. We're now selling F7 in the East Stand and there's not too many left in the South Stand. Think if we sell all the seats in the sections we're currently selling there will be about 13k of us there. With Falkirk's 18k and all the comps we'll be close on 40k total. As someone said earlier, that's no bad for a game between ICT and Falkirk.
  9. Is it fine though? It's only a couple of thousand more than we took to the League Cup Final albeit the League cup final was on a Sunday County took double what we took to their semi with Celtic and took 17-18k to their cup final against Dundee Utd I think we will be lucky to break the 10k mark which is still a good turn out but that figure will be a mixture of a minority of Invernessians, incomers to Inverness and neutrals Let's not kid ourselves here Invernessians wouldnt embrace ICT even if it was the Champions League Final, anyone who tries to argue with this is seriously deluded Regardless what number of tickets we have sold our club should be disclosing the numbers as it adds to the excitement of the run up Dougal This will be the largest gathering of Caley/Thistle/ICT support of all time. Take a chill Alan, go watch your old Rangers videos and listen to some Public Image.
  10. Something wrong with the online ticket sales? Seem to have stopped selling the East Stand (apart from the odd single seat) even though it's less than half full. Been like this since yesterday evening.
  11. I would also paint yellow I-5 to P-2 in the South Stand lower as those are the 10k seats allocated to other clubs, sponsors etc. South Stand upper won't be used.
  12. South Stand is completely wrong as we've not been selling tickets for the sections highlighted. We have sold out I-4 apart from a few rows at the front which were never offered.
  13. There's still a few left in the South Stand. Would say they'll all be gone today unless you're after a single seat. Our allocation for the South Stand was less than a thousand I think. Trying to do the arithmetic here. If the South Stand upper tier is closed (very likely), and there's a few hundred empty seats for segregation, then capacity will be about 46k...18k to each club and 10k to other clubs/sponsors etc in the South Stand lower. Sound about right?. BTW there's some high up seats in the East Stand getting sold online just now here.
  14. Our lawyer has offered the SFA a way out of this mess and they've grabbed it with both hands.
  15. I have a feeling this will not be resolved today.
  16. Hampden is the National Stadium and when available has always been used. It is a honour for any player and fan to go and play in or watch a Scottish Cup Final and wether there are 5000 or 50000 there it's where the cup final should be played. No hostility just think it's a bizzar post. By the way the comment was about the thread not your post. Ah okay. Apologies. You should maybe have said "thread" instead of "post".and I'd have got your meaning. Of course the final will be at Hampden as it always should be. Would be nice though to have a near full house to ram the words of the Glasgow media back down their throats.
  17. Not at all. Would you care to expand on your hostility?
  18. Allocate the 9000 seat North Stand as a "Neutral Zone". With sensible pricing this could be sold out. Families will be attracted to a SC Final due to the absence of trouble because of the 2 teams involved. East and West stands are about 12000 each. These are allocated to us and Falkirk. South Stand can take the Falkirk overspill and all the sponsors/hospitality etc. Could be 40,000+ with this configuration.

Yeah and Strathpish Thistle to win it the year after.

The whole credibility of the pyramid system will be in tatters if the Cattachs don't take part. Personally I think Brora will thrash Edinburgh City & Montrose to take up a spot in SPFL2. The 2nd best HFL team, even further north, could follow the season after.
  21. Think your point is running out of steam a wee bit here. I can't think of any logical reason why it would be played in Aberdeen, still loads of travel (for far more fans) and the stadium isn't large enough anyway. Edinburgh would be just as bad. There are 2 stadiums in Glasgow that could be used as a neutral venue and my preference would be Ibrox, but only if they clean it up first. By all accounts the place is filthy now.
  22. Perhaps this was Collum being over-cautious and covering his own ärse? The last thing he needs is to give the game the go-ahead only to see it abandoned after all the fans have travelled.
  23. If you assume the seeded top 6 were Celtic, Aberdeen, Motherwell, Dundee Utd, ICT and St Johnstone, and this was the actual top 6 at the split, then we would have had Celtic (A), Aberdeen (H), Motherwell (H), Dundee Utd (A) and St Johnstone (A) as our post-split fixtures. Motherwell and possibly St Johnstone have thrown a spanner in the works though so who knows?
  24. Win this and arithmetically we are guaranteed top 6. No bizarre combination of results can deny us. I learned today that the SPFL has a seeding system where the top 6/bottom 6 are predicted at the start of the season. It's when a team ends up in the "wrong" half at the split that fixture anomalies occur, like playing the same team 3 times away. Wonder where we were seeded to be at the split?
