  1. It'll be South, west and the south part of the main stand...same as what Celtic get
  2. Hopefully we'll get a good home crowd on sat, make a good atmosphere for our own players, keep the unbeaten run going and then next week fill the away end at the caravan park and show them we are still the bigger and better team!!! And of course Scottish cup champions :-)
  3. I thought by the end of the game everyone on the park justified being there. The defence looked solid, raven was superb, Devine looked more comfortable at RCB, meekings looked shaky to being with but certainly got back into it very quickly and tremarco done what he could to replicate last years left back! Draper was man of the match for me, was calm all game made a couple of defence splitting runs and his only fault was getting excited when he had that great chance! I thought Tansey struggled in the first half but like I've said previously it was due to lack of movement. In the second half he started his long range passing and covered well a few times when tremarco had pushed on. williams was always a threat but bar one great cross, he just couldn't quite far enough forward. Christie was influential in both halfs, dropped to deep in the first half but probably had the most touches and kept the ball moving but his second half performance was different altogether, running at defenders, forward passing and a superb piece of play for his assist. Vincent looks like he needs a game or 2 to get back into his game but in the second half especially he pushed further on and worked well with Raven...plus he got into a great position for his goal! And for the first time in many many years, i got excited watching our debut striker. Previous strikers took long enough to settle, our new guy was a different Storey. He was fast, plenty of energy, made those runs, and stayed central which got him his well taken goal....we finally have a striker (for 3 months at least!). our subs also looked confident, vigurs was his in his normal area, that 10m by 10m patch of grass yet still looked like on of those through balls were gonna open the defence. And Sho-Silva won nearly every Arial challenge, few good runs and held the ball up. Not sure wat the incident with the Hearts boy was about.
  4. What's getting to me is that fact we've signed 2 players to add depth to the squad but it's 2 players that are 20 and 21...how are they old enough to be playing when apparently it's to early to play Ferguson and Sutherland? Surely if our own 2 are decent quality then they should be given a shout before recruiting 2 other young players that haven't proved anything! I still think we need to give our own lads a chance but can we keep the loanees...both made great first impressions!
  5. Fon Williams raven. Meekings. Devine. Tremarco Tansey. Draper christie. Vigurs/Vincent Williams Storey if meekings isn't fit to start then draper at cb and personal i'l like to see wedderburn get another chance...I thought he looked calm and composed against Astra plus he's had plenty of time in training to work on his passing and get up to speed! is that your Fifa team? That would be a pleasure to watch every week!!
  6. Yes of course I'm serious. All that is required is a bit of humility and some expression of appreciation for what Caley helped him become. The subtext of his comments is "Wow, I'm just so glad to get away from Inverness". That is not far removed from simply bad-mouthing the place. If we are to be pedantic, then at the point he was over the moon and just desperate to get it finished he was still a Caley player. I agree with your comments, it's been pretty poor from him but I did read somewhere that he said that he is happy to return to Inverness on load and to help hit the targets caley have set for the season so on some level he's not being totally disrespectful! I am still disappointed at his comments but at the end of the day there's no point slating him for it because it won't help anyone's cause .
  7. Theres a fair bit of money recieved by the club in the last 12 months with not very much it seems been re-invested in threadbare squad. Im not blamin the manager as am pretty sure he will be quietly just as unhappy as most fans are that he's not been backed by the board This is the worst squad ever now after injuries and at the moment every match day team fills me with fear Fans turning on each other ceartinly is not the way ahead when for me its Kenny Cameron and his band of merry moneymen that are the real issue, to put it bluntly wheres all the money gone mr Chairman?? I certainly wouldn't go as far as saying this is the worst squad ever...we still have a fair bit of last seasons squad! Yes some left and others are injured long term but let's not forget that the players left also played a big part in achieving way we did last year. if any of our players were to read this forum they'd be pretty disappointed with what's said about some of them so, instead of being negative about the squad, let's get right behind each and every one of them and try to give them as much confidence as possible to get our season going!
  8. Fair enough ease them in by playing them in game we're winning... But we need to be winning games for a start and the ones we have been winning we've thrown them away! I hope this final signing (should it happen) is a known quality of some sort! As much as I hope these to boys do well I still think we need someone who can slot into the team and can improve it instantly!
  9. Yeah but St Johnstone are s****, they somehow just manage to achieve more points that the teams that finish below!
  10. I think I would take that deal...to me £500k isn't enough but if we could get stokes on a deal then that slightly make up for it!
  11. Well i woudnt say no...i know many would but he's a proven goal scorer! Even last year when he got his chance he scored

    Injury Updates

Apparently vigurs is out now as well...according to bbc sport team news! How many more before we struggle to actually field a team...
  13. Coudve predicted this months ago...just hope that the club dont bend over and let Celtic take them for a ride!! First of all, I'd be asking for minimum £750000, Christie back on loan and possibly even another player either striker or winger on top for a year loan. i just hope the club and Christie both make a sensible decision that actually suits them both and not just a jump at a good looking payment.

    Injury Updates

Heard today that Doran is going to see a specialist in London anout his knee and that there is a big possibility that he won't be returning to the the field! Things aren't gonna get better soon I fear
  15. Fon Williams raven. Draper. Devine. Williams Tansey. Horner sutherland. Christie. Vigurs Mutumbo subs: Esson, Lopez, wedderburn, brown, polworth, *doran, *tremarco, *vincent. *if available given Ferguson was missing from bench the other night then I doubt he'll be there and heard that meekings won't be fit as he's also tweaked his groin.
  16. Although it's something we all dread, what do we all reckon would be the best outcome for club should Ryan Christie leave? What kind of sum should we realistically be looking for? And how, given we barely have money for anything, should we spend it?

    Trialists

Sounds like a promising player but we need a striker...it couldn't be more obvious! The only benefit I can see from this would be to put Mutumbo up front and have Ajala in support with Christie and another! Having been at all 3 home games and the game in Romania...I think Lopez's starting position has to be in question! For me, starting Sutherland either up front or on the wing is a must and drop Lopez! I hope Lopez makes me eat my words but this has to be the least convinced I've been about a new signing in a long time...or certainly one that has gone into the starting line up!
  18. his place won't be at risk because there's no one to take it and he's struggling going forward cause he has no one to aim for!! Last season we'd have say shinnie and Williams on on wing and with raven and doran/Watkins on the other. As soon as one player made the move inside and pulled the left back with him, the other would have space to run into...but this year, at the moment, there's no width in the team, we lost our 2 most dangerous players and our current forward thinkers are out injured. Give it a month and as soon as doran, Vincent and tremarco are back on the field, Tanseys passing will improve incredibly.
  19. We don't have the funds for Mckay. no but if football had any impact on players decisions then game time would be more important to him! A loan move would surely suit him and Wigan for more game time Watkins is playing tonight
  20. Billy McKay not even getting a game for Wigan against bury and has had no.10 taken off him for another striker...surely he'd rather a loan move back to us with some game time more than available instead of sitting on the bench for the next 12 months
  21. Think heffernan would do well, our build up play is decent, it's having someone to target in the box and someone who'll make that late run that we miss...and he can finish a chance! Whats been missing for him the last 2 years has been good chances being created for him to take...he'll get that service here. But Riordan is a big gamble, free or not! But then again if Hughes trusts him and can get decent performances out of him then I'd taken him cause I'd rather have him than no striker!
  22. Haha I posted either on this thread I think about 2 weeks ago for a joke after reading it...now it appears he is training with us! Does it really surprise anyone though? We're desperate for a striker, he's begging for a club and there a huge link there already between manager and player! Doesn't surprise me at all
  23. Williams is good but he can't play in LB and LM at the same time ;-)
  24. Fon Williams raven draper Devine wedderburn Tansey Horner mutumbo christie Williams Lopez subs: Esson brown polworth Sutherland rennie howarth...although even if there they can only manage 10-15 mins I'd obviously like to see foran doran and meekings on the bench as they seem only ones likely to recover in time.
  25. Couldn't really have had a worse start, 2 of our main players injured, a loss at home and a shocking performance! That made the Astra games look like they happened years ago!! Fair enough we're down a few players due to injury but to still not have a striker, winger or left back at this stage is pathetic! Everyone else that wanted to recruit has recruited...even county so there is no excuses! It could well be a long season after that performance but maybe it's what they needed to bring them back down to earth and Scottish football! But those who are saying Hughes out are clearly pathetic and idiotic...supporting your club means supporting your players and management, no matter how hard it gets!!!
