  1. Good luck this afternoon boys, although I have every faith that luck will not be needed. Get out and gie 'em laldy. Welcome to the two Alfies - I hope your time at ICT is amazing. C'mon Caley
  2. We have had our names put on seats twice. The first time was when the North and South stands opened and as stated it was £10 I think. We had to move seats when our children became too old for the KB family area and we got it done again. This was years later, and it was still £10. It is lovely to see your name on your seat and would be a great gift to buy for any fan. The names seem to last forever and I would probably pay more now to get this. Maybe the club could make more of it (it must be even easier to do nowadays with technology that could use different fonts and colours etc), and it could be a good little earner for the club if it was well publicised (mony a mickel maks a muckle and all that).
  3. Fantastic result and a Merry Christmas to one and all. 🎅
  4. Knowing the team will give it their best shot as always Shout out to the fans travelling to the game on this wild day. C'mon Caley - get the Christmas pressie you deserve come full time.
  5. I tried to post Christmas cards to Canada, but the P.O would not take them because of the huge backlog.
  6. I actually saw one of the Arbroath players give the ref a wee pat on the back as he walked past him while the ref was bent over tying his shoe lace (slowly) in the latter stages of the game. I know it is a difficult job, but you have to wonder about neutrality sometimes.
  7. Another game, another rubbish ref! That man should not be allowed out on Saturday afternoons. Not our best game, but I was impressed by the fact that the boys never gave up and kept on trying for the goal as the clock ticked down. I'd rather see the ball coming flying at me in the North Stand than not see any attempts at all. Dust yourselves down lads and get back on your mission. We believe.
  8. The higher up the table the opposition are, the sweeter the victory. ICT fear no-one. Enjoy tomorrows game lads. C'mon Caley
  9. Best of luck in the cup girls.
  10. Provided that the game goes ahead: Hope that the casualties have recovered well by today. I have every faith that those 3 points will be ours by teatime. C'mon Caley
  11. Why do I feel a sense of impending doom at seeing this? Who on earth thought that this was a sensible time (of both year and day) to arrange a fixture?
  12. Hopefully the bad decision making will somehow transform into determination on the pitch at our next game. Well done to all the travelling fans. It sounds like a horror ground to visit, but I'm sure your support and all your comments about the refereeing will be of some consolation to the manager and team. It is good for them to know that the fans are backing them and don't just think that they are being sore losers. Dust yourselves down boys and get back out there being the titanium team that we know you are.
  13. Unlucky, but never mind boys, we love the Scottish Cup, but the league is definitely priority. Your manager has confidence in you, and so do we. Onwards and up that table at the speed of sound.
  14. I agree. I think it is better for ICT to keep their cards close to their chest for now, especially with Dumbarton being in the same boat.
  15. Go Matthew and Go Ethan. Have a great season!
  16. What I don't understand is why did QotS not call the match off much sooner, at the point when there pitch became flooded. They wouldn't be happy if they travelled all the way up here, when it was obvious the day before that a game was going to be unplayable. Treat others as you would wish to be treated.
  17. It would be fabulous to see ICTWFC at the top of the table tomorrow. Go girls!
  18. Never mind Annan Athletic, we are only a mere 18 points off the top of the table, and we are Inverness Caledonian Thistle. Anything is possible (except controlling Bert). C'mon Caley - we love you
  19. I think that we have to be brutally honest and face the fact that football crowds in 2024 will never again be like those from the last century. Going to the footie was a really big weekend event when I was younger, the highlight of the weekend, before a more sedate day on a Sunday. The crowds were huge at games. TV coverage was very limited, but even at home, when the results came in silence was demanded while people checked their pools coupons. Nowadays it is just one of the very many weekend opportunities available both in the real world and virtually, and people just don't want to commit so much time and money to one event. I have no idea what wages are for the boys at our club, but I don't think clubs at our level can afford to use high pay as a way to lure players to their club. We must accept that players have to really want to play football as a career, whatever the wages are, and that they cannot expect to be paid more than other young people earn in the area where they live. This does make attracting players difficult, but we have to live within our means. When big money becomes the over riding incentive to any player, then something is lost - the main incentive should always be the possibilities on the pitch.
  20. I think that despite everything, the good times may just be here again.
  21. I have absolutely no doubt that our boys will win again this week. Being the underdog does suit us, and it's against the top of the table again - bring it on! Have fun lads
  22. Everyone has a bad day now and again, but onwards and upwards ICTWFC
  23. Who do P&D support I wonder. It would be great if they could write a tune for the club.
  24. Just knew that win was coming and hopefully it is the start of a long run. |Well done lads and this is just the start - enjoy the ride.
