  1. Bring back Tokely to ICT!
  2. Well said Aaron! I sense that you are a bit mortified about the whole donations thing, but honestly, this was not charity - it was looking after one of our own. In fact, it has made some of us feel a little better about being an ICT fan, at a time when you have been treated so badly by the club. Whistle blowers get a bad press, but personally I think the world needs more people who are willing to speak out about mistreatment and miscarriages of justice, otherwise these controlling types just get away with what they are doing. If I was proud to have had you dedicate most of your career to ICT before, I think you are a true hero now. Good luck in the future and I hope you do feel that you can come and watch ICT games with your family, because the fans are the club and we would love to see you on the terraces.
  3. Fair point
  4. Oh it felt fantastic to see our team in action again. Pretty much agree with all that has been said - it is going to be a sharp learning curve for the young uns to toughen up for what comes next, but I felt so proud of them all and excited for them starting out on their careers. Good luck to them all. Lewis Nicolson was at the game - I don't think he is too far away from coming back now. Well done ICT.
  5. Just coming oot to play now and getting a wee bit of the old excitement back despite myself. C'mon Caley
  6. I'm still wary and feel it is perhaps worth sacrificing the early bird discount and waiting a bit longer, but I'm looking forward to the friendly at Clach tomorrow. Are others going along?
  7. Why does everything have to be so cloak and dagger? We just want openness and honesty.
  8. Love it!
  9. We are still a long way from safety and stability for our club, and I am still nervous about investing in season tickets as there still seems to be so many secrets and withheld information, but I am so pleased that we are moving forward at last. This is going to be so different to what we are used to, but everything was so depressing and hopeless by the end of the season that a fresh start is needed. We didn't get everything on the wish list - DF is still here at present and SG-who knows?, but we aren't going to the central belt and I hope that the young lads signed up today will give their best for the club and be mentored well by the players who remain. Now we just need that goal keeper - I know of one or two that live very nearby. C,mon ICT.
  10. TOXIC - Britney Spears
  11. The lad probably doesn't realise what he is getting mixed up in, but shame on his father, if this is true, for bringing his son into such a toxic situation.
  12. We can only hope that, like with the fans, this horrendous situation is maybe cementing the bond between the players. I wouldn't blame any of them for jumping ship, but I hope they are managing to pull together and support each other. Same goes for other staff at the club.
  13. Thanks to the Supporters Trust for continuing to keep us all up to date ............. in as much as anyone can!
  14. Poor Ridgers - he has been amazing at ICT over the years.
  15. Although the situation has arisen from a very dark place, being able to contribute in a small way towards providing Aaron with the operation that he needed, has helped me, and hopefully others too, to believe that we are just as good (if not better) than many fans of other clubs around Scotland. Thanks to Shane for giving us a chance to feel good about ourselves. Never for a minute be fooled into thinking that we, the fans, are in any way responsible for the state our club is now in. We all know where the blame lies.
  16. Hope this is a wind up IHE.
  17. Our car hanger strip is still going strong hanging in the front window of our caravan 'the Caley Palais', alongside the ICT mini scarf window decoration. Long live ICT.
  18. Fantastic news Aaron - wishing you a speedy recovery.
  19. I want to believe, but there is still something very un-nerving about the way that this whole situation is being dealt with. Questions from fans seem to be just glossed over without being answered and the way that this years season tickets and kits have been presented has a sort of passive aggressive feel about it, associating fans' loyalty with a commitment to putting our money into the club right now. I'm usually a positive glass half full person, but I feel very uneasy and I am still very reluctant to part with my hard earned cash.
  20. Hope it will be in the opposite colours with the blue and white where the black and red is. Hehe.
  21. We've always bought our season tickets early at the reduced rate, but at present I feel that for the sake of £15, I would rather wait until there are a few more certainties.
  22. Another day, another lack of dollars! What will todays news be? I dread to think.
  23. Just done it and it's at over £1000 already. A great way to show our appreciation of Aaron's contribution to our club. Thanks Shane.
  24. I only hope that all those who's future employment at the club now looks doubtful, realise that our thoughts are with them. But this won't help them to put food on the table and this carry-on must be unbearable. As for Ridgers, if he reads these posts, I hope he knows how highly regarded he is amongst the fans. He has been an amazing servant to ICT and has given us so much joy over the years.
  25. Thanks to Doofer's Dad, Achfary, Fraz, Scotty and all those online who are trying to make sense of where we stand as far as the rules and law are concerned. Personally, I couldn't even begin to understand all of this, so I am grateful to you all for doing your best to protect our club.
