  1. Well done, Duncan MacAuley. Just the kind of fund raiser I like. You know that really you are simply giving a donation, but there is that extra little bit of excitement which I love. (I don't get out much!)
  2. Best of luck to Musa. He could not have done more for us in the time that he was here, and I hope that he will settle in and do well at his new club.
  3. And well done to those who must have spent hours putting out the sheets of cardboard for our display - it looked so good too.
  4. Not everyone has the cash to splash on games outside those that their season ticket covers. Nor does everyone have the spare time to commit to football due to other important areas such as work commitments, family commitments etc. I love ICT, but I also have a life and financial commitments away from football.
  5. So sorry to hear this news about Lewis. A really lovely lad who I'm sure would have done well in the adult game if he hadn't been injured. He must be devastated, but hopefully coming to this decision himself, will help him to come to terms with it all. I also feel confident that he will be a definite asset in whatever career he decides to go for, and know that any employer would be lucky to have Lewis on the payroll. Best of luck Lewis - see you on the terraces.
  6. Looks like you wont run out of liquid refreshment to celebrate Eagle4Caley - are you in a distillery in the pic?
  7. Delighted for you too, Eagle4Caley. I too have a soft spot for Crystal Palace, having lived for part of my misspent youth in a flatshare in Bensham Manor Road in Thornton Heath. I remember that Sainsburys had to give up the shared carpark for a day each fortnight when a home game was on.
  8. That comment really got to me too, but I love your 'patronising central beltism' phrase - it absolutely nails exactly why it is so insulting.
  9. I agree. Lewis was just coming into his best years when injury struck. A dedicated, intelligent player. Hope he is fit very soon and still wearing an ICT shirt.
  10. I must be in the minority. I enjoyed the chat in the long, but moving quickly, queue (nothing compared to queues at festivals). We managed to get a pie before they ran out and I thought that the people of Montrose were very friendly. One fan congratulated us on the team's success this season and the stewards calmly dealt with ours fans, despite their pitch suffering a few blue scorch marks. The pub was friendly, the sun shone and the trains ran on time. All that and a win too..... a great day out.
  11. Sorry tm4tj, you do enough already. I'm just an ideas person - but too lazy and clueless to actually take them into reality!
  12. And all the stunning artwork you have put together - a calendar for next season perhaps with all the game dates and your pictures on it?
  13. We are usually only good for home games support, but have decided to have an away day tomorrow to celebrate this crazy season with our fantastic team. Party time. Can't wait.
  14. I was just thinking about you, despite having no idea what you look like, when I saw the Palace score Eagle4Caley. If it was a good day for Caley fans, it was even better for you. Best of luck to CP.
  15. Just in from my celebratory drinks and taken my paracetamol ( not as young as I used to be) What a day! Well done boys - knew that you would do it. Thank you. It reminds me of when my kids were wee and we were on the way up for the first time. Lots of wee ones there today - let's hope that the next generation are so lucky. Hoping to get to Montrose next week for a wee jolly. C'mon Caley
  16. I'm sure the team will get out there and do their very best today. it would be fantastic if both sets of results allowed us to secure safety today. Enjoy the game everyone - this team has really pulled out the stops this season and they deserve a party at the last home game. You are amazing, titanium, and unbeeelievably good boys! Thank you for turning what we thought was going to be an awful year into an entertaining fab one. C'mon Caley
  17. He's no April fool.
  18. Titanium. Well done lads
  19. Thanks tm4tj, Unfortunately, any kind of technology is my nemesis, but I love your pictures.
  20. tm4tj, Slightly off topic and you may have discussed this before, but I wondered where you get the beautiful artwork for your pre match statement. These pictures are always so apt, and I particularly like this one with the eagle and thistles, and Cove looking lovely (although I hear it can be cold and miserable at the games there). Hope it is a great day for ICT today.
  21. All the best tomorrow lads. Hopefully the sun will be shining on ICT . C'mon Caley
  22. Lost the battle, but it's the war that we are going for. keep calm and carry on lads.
  23. Best of luck to ICT today, and welcome back to Musa...we missed you. All the off pitch shenanigans must be exhausting for the team and coaches, but they have stood firm all season and done our club proud. Keep it up for these last few games and hopefully there will be a club here to play for next season, and you will get your rewards in the form of contracts. Well done to travelling support too, you've been outstanding. C'mon Caley
  24. Gutted for the team, and the rest of us as well. That was a draw that felt like a loss.
