  1. What a dignified tweet from David Raven - honest and open. We could do with a bit more of that here. Lovely man.
  2. Thanks for letting me know. Poor lads.....we can only hope that it somehow spurs them on to great things.
  3. Were the team wearing this seasons strips today?
  4. On BBC tv there is a wee post match write up about each of the league 1 games showing on the screen, but no write up for ICT. The usual bungling at the club, the BBC canny be bothered to make the effort, or is the match reporter staying away until SG leaves the building?
  5. We won't be there, but Johndo will be in our thoughts. C'mon Caley
  6. Totally agree with this point. I think that the Supporters Trust are in a difficult position, as far as aiming to keep the door open to discussion with the board. I would imagine that being in the Trust is a fairly thankless task and that you will never please all of the people all of the time. I know I wouldn't want the hassle involved. So I am grateful to those who run the Supporters Trust and thank them for keeping me informed on events.
  7. Easy if you live in town and have access to a car. But I think the point was that this is no way to treat the fans who are your bread and butter.
  8. Well done Jack and Co - I salute your stance on this.
  9. Sorry Jack, too busy with my Belladrum preparation to get there tonight - there may not be a space left for me to open my Werthers' flamboyantly at the layby, by the time I put in an appearance. Shame it didn't go our way too.
  10. Sad news. Thinking of Johndo's family.
  11. Oh Leaky, I just love that phrase, and the vision it conjures up. I hope always to be someone who opens my werther in a flamboyant manner (not a euphemism).
  12. Well done, Jack. In the past I may have concluded that someone was pretty miserly to watch from the layby, but I salute your stand and the reasons why you did it. Maybe I will bring along a camping seat and join you one day, if we don't see change soon.
  13. Interesting idea, Leaky. I am not attending games at the moment - hoping for evidence that SG is gone soon - but I feel that I protest by not putting money into the club at present, so no need for further action. I do feel bad about it, but I don't earn a great wage and work hard for it, so I do not want to risk seeing it disappear into the pocket of SG. The price of season tickets is also ridiculous, but, under the right circumstances I would stretch to pay this for this year at least, in order to help the club out. However not until there is change at the club. Although I do not wish to protest, I felt that the meeting organised by the Supporters' Trust was beneficial and would welcome more meetings like that if there is anything worth discussing. I totally respect the rights of others to have their own views and to proceed as they see fit as far as game attendance is concerned.
  14. Delighted to see the score. Well done boys.
  15. We won't be there today, but I think it is a personal decision for individuals to make and totally respect the rights of others to go to the game. I had initially planned to pay on a game by game basis, but the secrecy and toxic vibes from the board have made me think otherwise. I wish the team well and hope we get a win.
  16. Me too. Good luck Mark - Buckie thistle are very lucky to have you.
  17. I wouldn't blame anyone who did just that. The more we hear, the less inclined I am to put any money into the club. I feel really bad about it and how it is affecting the team, but I also feel that we are all being treated like idiots, and the lack of transparency in the club, especially considering all the awful rumours, makes me think that the truth is worse than anything that we have been told.
  18. At least the North stand ST holders don't need to worry about losing their seats because only the Main Stand is going to be open for home fans. Another good reason to hold back on buying your ST.
  19. Best of luck to the team today in their cup game against Annan Athletic. There are so many worries just now, but at the centre of it all are a group of players who just want to play football, so get out there boys and Gie It Laldy today. C'mon Caley
  20. A message on the club website today too.
  21. Aw, isn't that a lovely thing to say. Changed days now, although I do remember that the team was renowned for their happy dressing room and their support for each other back in the day. And it showed on the pitch too as ICT rose through the divisions.
  22. I am excited at the prospect of a cup run here. We are where we are, as they say, and this is where we are at. For the young lads in the team it is an exciting opportunity to win some silver wear and a good cup run gives everyone a boost. We were happy enough with this tournament a few years ago when we were on the way up and it would be down right rude to think we are somehow too good for it now. Bring on the cup runs - big and small
  23. Well done boys. It must be DF's nurturing influence having such a good influence.
  24. Best of luck to the boys in tonight's game. I can't make it but it will be on my mind. C'mon Caley .
