  1. I’d not picked up on it before, but Ali Riddle and Ethan Cairns are on loan to Fort William. Both are in their starting line up tonight: https://mobile.twitter.com/FortWilliamFC/status/1513589103044218882?ref_src=twsrc^tfw|twcamp^tweetembed|twterm^1513589103044218882|twgr^|twcon^s1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.fitbanorth.com%2Fviewtopic.php%3Ff%3D1t%3D8870start%3D2720
  2. The club’s report: https://ictfc.com/match-report-ayr-utd-2-2-ictfc Watching the goals again, poor defending at them both but, to be fair, with our performance after going 2 up, we didn’t deserve to win.
  3. Ha ha. You’ve updated the report……!!!!!! Thanks for doing them each match. They always reflect the views of fans.
  4. Simply that we are not good enough to get promotion.
  5. Sums it up so well (although Partick won last night). Whilst we look certain to make the play offs, I can’t see us getting through three two leg ties against, most likely, Partick, Arbroath and St Johnstone given our inconsistency. As Kingsmills has said, today epitomised our season. At 2-0 up so early, we should have kicked on and had a confidence boosting comfortable win, but we self destructed. We need to up our game for Friday.
  6. Manny Duku for Havant and Waterlooville today.
  7. Ouch: 2-2. That was coming. Time to get a grip and pull out a winner.
  8. Roddy MacGregor is in the squad for tomorrow. Scott Allardice should be our only injury absentee.
  9. Yesterday’s behaviour was shocking and at the very least Rangers should be required to play home Old Firm matches behind closed doors for the next two seasons. As said above, I don’t see it happening.
  10. Robert replied to Kingsmills's topic in Caley Thistle
Even if clubs restricted away ticket numbers, Old Firm fans would buy tickets for the home sections. Before our relegation, I often found Old Firm fans in seats close to mine. It shouldn’t happen but not sure how a club could police it when selling tickets for non season ticket seats, other than to only allow season ticket holders to attend, which would be very controversial.
  11. Will update when I see a full list, but Highland League scorers on Saturday were Ali Sutherland and Andy MacRae (at least 2) for Brora and Andrew MacAskill for Buckie.
  12. Gardyne scored a penalty for Montrose, with their win confirming they are in the playoffs. A step closer to him coming up against Carson….
  13. I think it is a couple of weeks later than usual, certainly compared to when we were last in the final. However, the final deserves to be played at the weekend as midweek would limit the fans who could attend. If we’d been in it, I’m sure none of us would have wanted a midweek date. Just a shame about our very poor cup form this season.
  14. Two good goals!
  15. Robert replied to tm4tj's topic in Caley Thistle
That such a shame. I am sure we all want to send condolences to Sam and his family at this sad and difficult time. I hope he goes on to have a successful career and fulfil the potential he clearly has. Who knows, if he is being considered to be loaned out next season, perhaps he will come back to us.
  16. Andy MacRae scored for Brora tonight.
  17. The Killie game is on TV but not the Hamilton one as all of the last round of games are on the Friday evening. Raith v Killie is the live TV game that day. And of course, Kingsmills, we will hopefully have more home games but in the play offs. I have edited the topic accordingly!!
  18. Good to see tickets on sale early for the games against Kilmarnock on 15 April and Hamilton on 29 April. Hopefully word gets spread well and we get more thanks than usual in the ground to encourage the players.
  19. He very rarely loses possession or misplaces a pass. We seemed to try to play to our strengths yesterday which was refreshing. It’s just a pity we don’t play for two weeks given we have been building momentum but it will give the players with injuries time to recover. Also a shout out for Doran and Duffy. Doran has lost his pace, but it was his vision and a great pass that let Samuels into score. Duffy has looked confident and capable any time he has played at centre half, and seems more natural there than at right back. He is really unlucky not to have had more game time this season.
  20. Jack Brown for Peterhead, Adam Rooney for Solihull and Manny Duku for Havant and Waterlooville yesterday. In the Highland League, I only noted Dale Gillespie for Brora and Andrew MacAskill for Buckie.
  21. I was fortunate to be invited to hospitality yesterday, and it was excellent. Hosted by Keith Haggart, Robbo spoke pre-match and Reece McAleer was interviewed at the Man of the Match presentation. A nice meal and good service, with a jovial atmosphere throughout. I’d recommend it. Robbo advised that Danny Devine and Joe Hardy picked up knocks on Thursday, whilst Roddy MacGregor had also looked to be ready, but was feeling his leg so they didn’t risk him. Reece McAlear is clearly enjoying his time here and feels he has learnt and developed a lot. He was particularly complimentary about Kirk Broadfoot who has been mentoring him. As for the game, a good performance and a well deserved result, topped off by two fine goals. Other than a short spell after our first goal, with two important and good saves by Cammy MacKay, I thought we were well on top and seldom troubled. The other highlight was the chanting after Polworth got subbed of “Polly Polly what’s the score?” whilst Donaldson was booed whenever the ball was near him and he was losing the plot by the end. A good day all round!
  22. As these are images of what the strip will look like, presumably the actual stock delivered can be correct? Has anyone pointed it out to the club?
  23. Garry Wood for Brechin tonight.
  24. Miles Storey scored for Hereford tonight.
