I’d start Trafford ahead of Vincent, in part as Vincent has had little game time.

Probably a useful work out for the youngsters and could indicate that playing the idle team each Saturday would be sensible as they would get experience against older and probably tougher players than they get at under 18 level.

I know pre season counts for nothing, but two draws with teams a league above us has to be encouraging. Life without Polly will be interesting, but it seems we have assembled a reasonable squad, so here’s hoping we can have some optimism looking forward. I’m going to Tannadice on 3 August, which is when it really starts to count.

Watching the goal in the club website, I see Mckay is number 4 this season. In the match report, there is an update on injuries. Carson will be fit for Monday, Vincent is not far away whilst Welsh and Mackay will start training this week.
