That will leave us with no obvious fit left back / left wing back unless one of the recent additions can play there. Longstaff played there in the cup game but it didn’t seem his natural position.

Noted this weekend were Tobi Sho-Silva for Maidenhead, George Oakley for Morton, Nathan Austin for East Fife and Ali Sutherland for Brora. Elsewhere Sean Welsh was sent off for Queens Park, Ross Tokely was sent off for Nairn, and Andrew Shinnie missed his second penalty in two weeks for Livingston.

Three good goals by Samuel. For Raith’s first, Ridgers looked to be blocked as well as Devine being pushed. A good highlights package by Raith.

Looking at the table, we need to improve our home form. We have 9 points from 10 home games: only Arbroath have taken fewer. Conversely we have 15 points from 12 away games: only Dundee United, Raith Rovers and Partick Thistle have taken more. Our next two league games are at home against Queens Park and Partick Thistle so it’s time to start winning at home.

A bit of breathing space with Queens Park and Arbroath both losing. We need to build on this and beat Queens Park next week now. Well done to the team, particularly Samuel. Looking forward to feedback from those at the game.

Half time: Raith 1-3 ICT. Accodding to the BBC, 5 attempts, 4 on target and, believe it or not, 3 of our attempts were shots from outside the box. What a turnaround after going behind. Will be interesting to hear from those at the game how we’ve lined up and how the new players are doing but an encouraging score line. Now we need to get the job done and win all three points.
