  1. One thing to note, regardless of anyones view of the Battery Park or the Board / CEO, is that the club is required to submit its accounts by the end of February. With the planning decision now delayed until March, the club may not get the necessary sign offs from their Auditors given the Battery Park is by no means certain. That threatens the very future of the club, as administration (or worse) become real possibilities.
  2. Youngster Calum MacLeod has joined Clach on loan.
  3. Should we change the thread heading to “Abandon Hope”?
  4. Another for Ethan Cairns for Banks O’Dee tonight.
  5. This is a total shambles and, to me, the Council has messed up and some Councillors are now taking fright at the backlash. Surely the Committee, especially the Chair and Vice Chair, should have been advised on the implications of only one third of them being able to vote, and referred the decision to the full Council rather than creating further uncertainty. Meanwhile, in other news: https://ictfc.com/ictfc-announces-partnership-with-autovision/
  6. I’m nervous about the number of loans. However, Scott Young said at the Fans Meeting that there were clauses in some of the deals relating to what would happen depending on the number of appearances, with the implication that some of them may become permanent. The proof of the pudding will be in the eating but, from what I’ve seen so far, Kerr and Samuel are assets and I see potential in the young central defenders and McAllister. We’ve had an incredible player turnover. Only four starters on Saturday played at Hampden in June.
  7. I don’t believe he was forced out as a move to the central belt worked for him. I don’t want to say more about the circumstances in a public forum but I believe a lot of us are aware and understand them.
  8. I got stick on here when backing the suggestion of Imrie for the job! Anyway, let’s not get distracted and give Big Dunc and the players our total support as they look to get us up the table.
  9. In my opinion, this thread is very premature. I understand the reasons for it but it is clear he will be given time by the club. We must survive this season, and then we can really judge him on how we do next season.
  10. No complaints from me about the result. Ridgers kept us in it in the first half, although I thought we competed well and deserved the 0-0 score line. The shot for the first goal took a wicked deflection or otherwise Ridgers would have had a comfortable save. McAllister lost possession in the build up after doing the hard work in winning the ball. Boyes was at fault for the second whilst we seemed to switch off a bit expecting a flag for the third but the player who picked the ball up was onside. Doran’s goal was a cracker, but far too little far too late. I’m not sure about the defensive substitutions as the defence was coping well on the whole. I can only guess that Chilokoa-Mullen and Savage are not fully match fit yet as both have been subbed in all three matches they’ve started for us. Now we need to focus on our league survival. We dropped a place today with Queens Park beating Dunfermline. After Partick next week, we play the two teams below is and those are games we cannot afford to slip up in. Like others, I do see improvements but we’ve had so many changes and we don’t yet know if the changes are paying off. Kerr looks good at right wing back, the young central defenders all look competent, McAllister seems to have potential, Samuel is a real asset and is hopefully fit soon, with the jury out on Pepple as we’ve not seen much of him. They should all benefit from game time. MacGregor got a few minutes at the end and will hopefully be able to have a positive impact. Samuels was on the bench, and his pace as an impact player will be useful in games. Im not (currently) as despondent as some posters, and calls for the Manager’s head are very premature.
  11. Marley Watkins for Kilmarnock, Jake Davidson for Hamilton, Nathan Austin for East Fife and Ethan Cairns for Banks O’Dee noted today.
  12. Carragher and McAllister starting in place of Devine and Samuel.
  13. Yes, the way Hibs will play will make it more like an away game so we should treat it as such. Our away record is decent so let’s adopt our away tactics this afternoon.
  14. George Oakley for Morton in the cup tonight.
  15. We need to follow Morton’s example. They’ve beaten Motherwell tonight.
  16. I went with 2-1 on Gringo’s NPL….
  17. Luis Longstaff is out and Alex Samuel is a doubt for tomorrow. We are inconsistent and Hibs are on a bad run but seemed to play well against Celtic in midweek. My head says an away win, my heart says we will have another cup upset.

  20. Don Cowie in interim charge. Poor guy!
  21. Sam Nixon scored for Forres last night. I didn’t realise he’d gone there on loan.
  22. Marley Watkins for Kilmarnock and Sam Nixon for Forres tonight. I didn’t know Nixon was there on loan.
  23. Adams has resigned.
