  1. That’s not good. We are at our worst when we think like that. I’m worried we will slip up tomorrow now.
  2. It all comes down to the extent to which we believe injuries to key players caused our rocky spell. If we get to the final and play offs, he deserves the benefit of the doubt, but he may decide himself it is time to step back. Anyway, I’m 100% behind us in however many games we still have and hope for the best possible end to the season. I’m not in the league and cup double fraternity but who knows what we can achieve. And we’ve heard from the Chairman!! Make if that what you want! https://ictfc.com/club-statement-chairmans-appeal/
  3. I’m destined to be the bridesmaid and not the bride!! Lol!!
  4. Great work by Welsh to keep the ball and set up the winner. Who won the ball near the half way line that started the move for the equaliser: hard to see on a mobile: Allardice? Great character shown to turn that round after conceding to that great free kick. Shame they didn’t show the foul (or as IHE said the very soft foul).
  5. Did you and Doofer’s Dad also go 1-2 last night? I hoped I’d taken the lead!!
  6. Don’t want to burst your bubble of optimism, but I’m looking for Queens Park to beat Ayr on Friday evening. And Hamilton beating Partick on Saturday would do nicely too.
  7. HT 1-0 FT 2-1 ICT Billy Mckay Dundee Robinson Crowd 2495
  8. He’s only been sent off twice in his career: in the last two games he’s played!
  9. Kai Kennedy (again) for Falkirk and Jordan Roberts for Stevenage tonight.
  10. Incredibly if things go badly we have only three games left. If things go well we have up to ten to play! Six wins in a row, eight in nine games including the cup. We need to build on this now.
  11. Yes! Third place and pressure now on Partick and Ayr. Dundee will be tough on Saturday but we can do it! Well done to all who played and thanks IHE for the updates.
  12. We’ve come from behind to win at Ayr, Morton and Cove recently. Can we do it again?
  13. We need a big reaction now to turn this round.
  14. Half time 0-0 According to the BBC, Deas hit the post with a header but we’ve only had 4 attempts so far with Hamilton having 1. Devine got an early booking, whilst we have committed a lot of fouls. Hopefully IHE can give us some confidence ahead of the second half…..
  15. Deas, Doran and Boyd in for Harper, Mackay and Samuels. A big night ahead: let’s hope it’s a positive one for us! We are due a win against Hamilton: let’s make it tonight!
  16. We seem to be digging deep to grind out results, coming from behind at Ayr, Morton and Cove in our three of our last four away games, ironically losing away to Queens Park after leading. I’m as confident as I can be that we will bring three points back up the road tomorrow. We worry about games against teams at the bottom of the league, but we’ve done the job against Arbroath and Cove, and it’s time to complete the set. We will miss Henderson again, as Mackay and Samuels are not as effective just now (I’m giving the benefit of the doubt to Samuels after his injury troubles and we will hopefully see more from him soon), but Doran may start given his impact at the weekend. I just hope Duffy is fit to be in the squad as Hampden is getting closer and we need him match fit to take Carson’s place then. I don’t care what the performance is like as long as we win! Come on ICT!!
  17. Can I have a drink of whatever you are enjoying tonight??
  18. I think it is possible only if Dundee and Queens Park lose their next two games then draw when they play each other in the last game of the season. Dundee visit us next, then are at home to Cove. Queens Park are away to Ayr and Morton. Dundee would have 59 and Queens Park 58, whilst three wins get us to 60 and also knock Ayr out of contention. Partick would also need to fail to win one of their last three. They are away to Hamilton, then home to Arbroath and away to Raith. Surely not even the greatest optimist can envisage that all happening! To be guaranteed to be staying in contention for a play off place, we need a minimum of four points from our games against Hamilton and Dundee so it is in our own hands when we play Ayr on 5 May. Ayr have two home games before they come here, against Queens Park and Raith.
  19. Looks onside to me, both on the highlights and the still. There look to be two defenders playing him on.
  20. Thanks, a good finish too. He will have enjoyed that!
  21. The club’s report: https://ictfc.com/match-report-cove-rangers-1-2-ictfc-15-04-2023 Surprised it says Deas was dropped. I’d assumed he was being rested given he is not long back from his broken leg given the fixtures are coming thick and fast. The BBC said Harper’s goal was a right footed shot: not his left?
  22. HT 0-1 FT 1-2 ICT Billy Mckay Accies Smith (21) Crowd 906 Joker, please (not through confidence, but because I’m running out of games if we don’t make the play offs).
