  1. Andy MacRae scored for Brora tonight.
  2. The Killie game is on TV but not the Hamilton one as all of the last round of games are on the Friday evening. Raith v Killie is the live TV game that day. And of course, Kingsmills, we will hopefully have more home games but in the play offs. I have edited the topic accordingly!!
  3. Good to see tickets on sale early for the games against Kilmarnock on 15 April and Hamilton on 29 April. Hopefully word gets spread well and we get more thanks than usual in the ground to encourage the players.
  4. He very rarely loses possession or misplaces a pass. We seemed to try to play to our strengths yesterday which was refreshing. It’s just a pity we don’t play for two weeks given we have been building momentum but it will give the players with injuries time to recover. Also a shout out for Doran and Duffy. Doran has lost his pace, but it was his vision and a great pass that let Samuels into score. Duffy has looked confident and capable any time he has played at centre half, and seems more natural there than at right back. He is really unlucky not to have had more game time this season.
  5. Jack Brown for Peterhead, Adam Rooney for Solihull and Manny Duku for Havant and Waterlooville yesterday. In the Highland League, I only noted Dale Gillespie for Brora and Andrew MacAskill for Buckie.
  6. I was fortunate to be invited to hospitality yesterday, and it was excellent. Hosted by Keith Haggart, Robbo spoke pre-match and Reece McAleer was interviewed at the Man of the Match presentation. A nice meal and good service, with a jovial atmosphere throughout. I’d recommend it. Robbo advised that Danny Devine and Joe Hardy picked up knocks on Thursday, whilst Roddy MacGregor had also looked to be ready, but was feeling his leg so they didn’t risk him. Reece McAlear is clearly enjoying his time here and feels he has learnt and developed a lot. He was particularly complimentary about Kirk Broadfoot who has been mentoring him. As for the game, a good performance and a well deserved result, topped off by two fine goals. Other than a short spell after our first goal, with two important and good saves by Cammy MacKay, I thought we were well on top and seldom troubled. The other highlight was the chanting after Polworth got subbed of “Polly Polly what’s the score?” whilst Donaldson was booed whenever the ball was near him and he was losing the plot by the end. A good day all round!
  7. HT 1-0 FT 2-1 ICT Mckay Dunfermline O’Hara Crowd 2250 Joker please.
  8. As these are images of what the strip will look like, presumably the actual stock delivered can be correct? Has anyone pointed it out to the club?
  9. Very well said: a shocking way to treat staff. I just hope all travelling take the same view and boycott P&O.
  10. Garry Wood for Brechin tonight.
  11. Miles Storey scored for Hereford tonight.
  12. Who Dunfermline fans I know say has fallen out of favour with Hughes and is always on the bench.
  13. When Dunfermline win, that will be three defeats in a row for Partick, joining us and Raith in messing things up once in a strong position in the league. We’ve not beaten Dunfermline this season so now is the time to change that. I agree with all the comments above. We need a game plan and a plan B, neither involving hopeful punts up the park. This is only the third time this season we have won two (or more) league games on the trot but there is no better time to put a winning run together. The target should be catching Arbroath so we finish second and have a better chance in give play offs. They have Raith and Partick in their next two games so teams around us will drop points. It is up to us to ensure we don’t drop any.
  14. Three red cards yesterday if you count the one given to John McGlynn.
  15. The club’s report: https://ictfc.com/match-report-raith-rovers-2-3-ictfc
  16. What was missed by the commentators at their goalie’s injury was the push their defender gave our forward which resulted in the collision. Some of our players were claiming a penalty, and in many games it could have been given. Watching it back, Chalmers steadied himself well before his two shots. I don’t see how MacKay can be blamed for the second goal, but I still think he could have kept the first one out. A lucky three points, but we’ve beaten two of our rivals in a week which must have boosted the confidence of the squad. Now we need to beat Dunfermline for the first time this season next week. I have former colleagues coming up from Fife to join me at the game so really need a win to avoid getting stick from them all evening after it!
  17. Lewis Jamieson scored for Clyde today. In the Highland League, Keiran Chalmers for Clach, both Dale Gillespie and Josh Meekings for Brora, and Andrew MacAskill for Buckie.
  18. Partick getting thumped a real bonus. Good day for us after all. Now we are third and need to keep the winning run going. Not pretty but I will take the three points happily (and sorry all for saying I’d settle for a draw earlier!). Two great goals by Chalmers. Arguably more than we deserved but Raith were quite cynical at times and didn’t like the ref seeing through their tactics. Roll on next Saturday!!
  19. Wow! Great finish again by Chalmers. 3-2!! Serves Raith right for wasting time.
  20. 2-2. Great finish by Chalmers after a corner. Didn’t see that coming as we’ve hardly created anything this half. How many times have we missed simple passes and played it out for a Raith throw in?
