Can someone summarise the issues that should make us concerned about the recent Director appointments? Thanks.
-
I really feel sorry for anyone who travelled down to Glasgow tonight. Partick have battered us and looked like they are in a low gear. We’ve never looked like creating anything. It’s all too predictable. Are some players going through the motions, playing an easy pass but not doing the creative stuff they should be doing? Have Dodds and the backroom staff lost the players? The lack of news on injured players is a concern. How long are MacGregor, Allardice and Samuels to be out for? We were never told they had long term injuries (as far as I know). Where do we go from here? It’s hard to see anything for us this season based on the last couple of months. I’m not one to clamour for a Manager’s head but I really do think change is needed. Even when we were winning games we were unconvincing. This squad should be doing better than it is. Talk on another thread about being at risk of administration is a major concern. We were always well run financially, living in it close to our means. Things are wrong on and off the pitch. Time for the CEO to step up and outline the plans for the rest of this season and for next season.

What’s on tv? Must be better than watching this. 3 down. Once again too easy for Partick.

Doran on at half time for Boyd. As things stand, we are 7 points off the promotion play offs and 9 off the relegation play off. Sadly I don’t see us closing the gap at the top any time soon and we are more likely to get dragged into the relegation fight.

If the plan was damage limitation it’s not worked. We’ve struggled to keep the ball and played too many hopeful balls. Dan Mackay has had a couple of runs but one long range Billy Mckay shot was our only attempt and it was easily saved. Partick look dangerous and I’m worried they have more gears they can go up which will make the second half a really tough watch.

You feel it is game over now. Need to see it again but at first glance I feel MacKay should have got there first. 2-0 down. This could be a rout.

BBC app now has Delaney starting. We will see what Barrett is made of but at least Tiffoney is not starting for Partick. Any word on Devine, Shaw and Harper. It just goes on and on.

It’s good to have a livestream available so that’s how I will be spending the evening. After effectively a three week break, now’s the time to start a positive run and get our season back on track. We start second favourites but hopefully we can spring a surprise and get the three points.

The club statement is interesting. I wonder what assistance he has been providing over the last 12 months given his medical background…..and our injury situation. There is no mention of him investing, so hopefully he is bringing business acumen and positive ideas to the Board, and hopefully he also believes in good communication. Time will tell. A limited company is required to advise Companies House if changes to Directors within 14 days. I’m not sure if there can be delays between Companies House receiving information and on line records being updated.

Phew, given I changed to Queen of the South after my initial pick was postponed! -
Not quite. All localish, I think, apart from Barrett, our recent signing. Of the youngsters, Bray is from Lewis, but we can take that as local.

Despite the lack of games today a few scorers: Jordan White for County Logan Chalmers for Ayr Rory McAllister for Montrose Nathan Austin for Kelty.

Ethan Cairns for Forres today.

Full time 2-0. We didn’t get battered but I’ve no idea how strong the Hamilton line up was. I assume they had more first team regulars starting. I hope the kids have had a good experience: did any catch the eye? Back to important business next week and hopefully we have some of our injured players back and can start getting wins again. While that was going on, Ethan Cairns was scoring for Forres.
