    Arbroath goal disallowed for offside. As things stand I will take a point (but still hoping for three!).

    We are struggling to keep the ball and getting hemmed in a lot as a result. We are trying to kill the game and waste time. Not a pleasant watch just now. Then suddenly a great chance for Carson but it seemed to graze the post.

    Half time 0-0. Hard to comment as I missed 20 odd minutes and am only back on thanks to RiG sharing the link (thanks RiG!!). We will be playing into the strong wind in the second half so may be up against it as a result.

    I’ve given up and simply linked my phone to the tv and am watching the link RiG has posted above. I’ve also messaged Arbroath looking for a refund. Will let you know when I hear anything. Did I miss anything in the last 20 minutes before seeing the stream again?

    Didn’t see who won the toss but they changed ends. We are playing with the wind advantage in this half.

    I logged in and bought today’s game with no issues and currently they are showing an interview with Dick Campbell. All I can suggest is logging out and trying again. They have a number of viewers at the top of the screen: currently 337 watching.

    Really short of players but still a strong starting 11. Hopefully they are all fully fit and have no after effects of injuries or Covid. The Arbroath commentary team were goo in our game there earlier in the season.

    Thanks for that. A lot of players there i had lost track of! Its a shame you are hanging up your spreadsheet, but it is understandable. Hopefully you will still post about scorers you note. Have a great 2022!

    The club is in a “no win” position here. I’m glad they’ve not followed the likes of Dunfermline and decided not to let any fans in, but having a crowd of 500 season ticket holders means they will lose money due to the costs they will incur. I was at the Dundee game before last Christmas and it was clear there were “no shows” from the ballot. Therefore the approach being taken will ensure those who want to attend can get tickets, assuming they are in the first 500 to seek them. It is not ideal, but probably the best they can do. Its ironic the restriction is to avoid pressure on the Police and Ambulance Service, neither of whom are at our games.

    Dunfermline tweeted it at 1457 so presumably the inspection was complete about 1445 so maybe we had not set off given the restrictions in place for teams as it would be around a three hour trip. The pitch looks bad in the picture they used. As they are also out of the cup, 22 January is a logical date for it being rescheduled.

    Thanks for doing these articles. They are always spot on and entertaining. I see the Ayrshire derby due next Sunday has been delayed until February in the hope restrictions have been lifted. Based on that, I hope we move our game against Queen of the South back a week to beyond the current restrictions. Back to tomorrow’s game, I hope none of the players were badly hit by Covid and they are all available. Goodness knows what our line up may be, but whoever plays they get us the three points and revenge on Dunfermline.     Jordan White for County and Nathan Austin for Kelty yesterday as their teams lost 2-1 and 5-1. Andy MacRae got two for Brora today in a 4-4 draw at Formartine.

    I see Queen of the South are also affected by Covid. Their game on Wednesday has been postponed as well as their game today. I wonder where we stand in terms of our game on Wednesday as it is still on as things stand today.

    I agree Lizi, it’s a big outbreak but hopefully their symptoms are mild and no one is seriously Ill. I assume that the club means that only 8 out of our 19 current players would have been available and that the figure does not take account of the 7 youngsters out on loan. I’m just a bit surprised we weren’t required to recall them and field a weakened team! Hopefully common sense by the SPFL for once. I read the statement as the SPFL agreeing to the postponement so there ought to be a new date for it at some point.

    But that’s how the system is set up and highlights why vaccine passports are a good thing for large gatherings.

    And presumably Wednesday’s game at Dunfermline will also be a casualty as a result.

    When you register the rest result you have the option to get a text or e-mail confirmation. I assume that is what is accepted in venues as the alternative to vaccine passports.
