  1. I stand corrected! Oops
  2. I would doubt it. given the threadbare nature of the squad, i would've thought the 1st team will be given the week off to rest and get back to fitness for those carrying knocks. this may be a chance for some to shine to get themselves into the matchday squad however....
  3. Obree Hoy And for me thats where it runs out. Plenty of other names to throw about, but none you could throw that high up the list. But IMO i think Andy probably tips both of them.
  4. good, gritty first half performance, came out slow for second half and got punsihed. 2nd goal and sending off was the killer. expected a loss but still never easy to take. after our poor start, unbeaten except against celtic and rangers...canna really grumble at that....
  5. FYI, on his way down the park he WAS applauding the ICT fans, then turned to go back down the tunnel, appeared to remember about those he then went to speak to. he made more of an effort than 90% of the players who barely acknowledged the travelling support. only Jake, Fisher and Josh actually made the effort to come all the way down and applaud us.
  6. Poor Old Danny Ings...another 9 months out with a knee injury! We should give him a contract, sounds like the kind of luck we have with our players, Still, his 9 months of re-hab shouldn't be too stressful...
  7. Russian fans embracing their mascot as only they know how....
  8. this is great! strength throughout the team, quality on the bench! our star striker popping up with some goals! #pushforeurope
  9. Near enough! 5 points from those games would've kept me happy before the Killie game, unfortunately i now feel dissappointed - the 9 points were more than available! ah well, #topsix
  10. In fact, Miles didn't even make the bench this week!
  11. The difference being that we seem to be picking up draws where last season we would be leaving with no points.
  12. back on topic...Is Richie sticking with Doombers because Fisher is out of contract in January, and that contract isn't being extended?
  13. They're all sh1te anyway. Sack Richie, sack the board, sack the players, dissolve the club...and let's go back to playing Highland League fitba!
  14. Are we feeding the Fish to the Walrus? That doesn't Bode-n well....
  15. Or Cherlie banging on about the attendances/merger....
  16. Doombers and Vigz attracting a lot of stick, and whilst neither were MOM potential, (BBC Alba would disagree) didnt think they were shocking, and certainly not in the bottom 2.
  17. you've got to remember that managers/coaches watch the game differently to fans. And whilst most fans are guilty of watching the ball, and players on the ball, you also have to take into account the work done off the ball, and this isn't always tracking a player from one box to the other,, there are lots of subtle things our midfielders do. I think Vigz gets a lot of unfair stick because he isn't so 'obvious' and can appear to not be trying. I actually thought Doran was poor because his choices are wrong - appears to be selfishly 'trying too hard' to get that goal and 'prove his worth'. an assist is better than an off-target shot IMO. anyway, we're all forgetting the important outcome of Saturday's match..... #topsix bring on the 'well #COMEONTHECALEYJAGS #PRIDEOFTHEHIGHLANDS
  18. Agree with all of your post, but in particular this! Boden has got quality, but doesn't excel in a lone-striker role and will be more influential as a second striker. Which appears to be something Richie has identified, as the two recent subs appearances he's made has been to come on as the second forward option, instead of a like-for-like swap between fish and doombers. Going to stick up for all the players here, who pretty much all had a bad game, but how many of us could do better?? Yes, I know it's what they get paid for bla bla bla, but still!!
  19. He's not dropping Tanz or Vigurs. And if we don't play with 2 up front at home, there's no chance he's gonna do it away from home. I suspect he'll start the same as he did against Killie. although, after not getting the three points on Saturday, this is now a must win....
  20. Not sure if I can face the highlights...but I'm pretty sure Warren should've had a pen too-was getting strangled in the box as a ball was coming in. Its already been said, so I won't dwell on it, but that was a poor show. special mention to Killies MOM - Andrew Dallas! The quality of Scottish referees is absolutely abysmal!
  21. Speaking to some of the players on Monday night, one of the problems they had was that The Rangers midfield were rotating their positions, so our guys were getting dragged out of position/not able to latch onto a player to effectively press. The desire and game plan was to press, but this was negated by what The Rangers were able to do in midfiled.
  22. This is what I'd like to see against Killie. An all-out attack minded 'roll-of-the-dice' OFW Meekings Warren Tremarco Draper Tansey King Polworth Mulraney Fisher Boden I know we wont come out like this, but it's nice to dream....
