  1. this is the same problem that the majority of the league has - and for once it's nothing to do with money. In fact, it's a problem across many leagues - that 'alan shearer' that can score 20+ goals a season wee, quick and nimble...andy macrae! watch this space, give him a couple o years, hopefully a bit of a growth spurt and there's your answer. doesn't help any just now right enuf
  2. Killie - Must Win Well - Must not lose Hearts - Must regain face!
  3. Cant comment about 'out of depth' but his performances in the U20's after being dropped from starting XI, and his appearance at Hamilton, didnt look like a guy striving to get back into favour, which i suspect is why he hasnt!? We only see them one day a week, the coaching staff see their work rate and attitude in training throughout the week, if his desire doesn't show through the week then it's no wonder he's not getting his chance. Whereas Fisher's desire shows through every time he takes the field. His attitude is what we need more of, as well as goals. Even showing up on a cold and windy night at Grant St to suport the U20's...That is why i rate him above the other two.
  4. why cant we play both? i know we wont, but i'd like to see us go into the Killie game playing a 3-5-2 type formation, with both wingers and both strikers. if we're sticking with one, i'd like to see it be the fish, Doombers size and strength would be more of an impact later on in the game after Fisher has been working his tail off and tiring the defense.Slightly off-topic, i'd like to see Jake get a start. His final ball Has been poor, however, with the chances he's creating it will get better, especially if he stops 'forcing' it, but when you only get 10-20 mins to make a difference you will be more inclined to try forcing something, as was seen with both him and Doran on friday night. i'd also like to see more of Cole... Richie needs to start making the tough decisions and drop some players who are having off-games, the cover is there for a change, time to use it.
  5. Was initially disappointed last night, and thought we'd been hopeless and were lucky to just come out at 1-0 down. But I've just watched the hour-long highlights on by sport, and actually a draw would've been fair. We finished much stronger as Richie said, but why do we have to go a goal down to get started? And too much negative backwards passing again, why is .that rearing its ugly head again? If we had taken our chances we could've come out winners! And losing to a goal like that isn't as painful as it would be if it was a soft goal. Just a shame we're going to see so much of it in the goal of the month polls!! And don't even get me started with the scum fans in the home end!! I don't know what the club/stewards can do to avoid this, especially when they aren't wearing colours, but these jokers need outed at every opportunity! #fanpower hearing rumours of damage to the south stand....any 'leaked' pictures of this? Or at least confirmation it happened.
  6. Can't really argue with any of that IHE. i think our decision making let us down a few times in the final 3rd as well, one in particular the Doran should have squared back to Polly and he went for the redic tight shot that was never really on. Willie Gollum was pathetic! Is he really the best Scotland have to offer?!
  7. Don't know if potential for delayed kick off? But a9 closed/just reopened and could cause a whole heap o them to be late up the road...
  8. Kevin McNaughton out of his boot and at the gym re-habbing. Still obviously a long way off, and has a serious hobble, but getting out of the boot and ditching the crutches must be a bit of a relief to him.

unoffical update: apparently the Away kit is now out of stock! How did that happen, they were never in stock! Looks like we'll not be seeing any replica away kits this season. Absolute disgrace from JD/Cabrini! I know they wont really care but I will be boycotting JD for the foreseeable! absolutely raging at the way we as supporters and the club have been treated.
  10. Is Tansey fit again? Both him and Vigurs carrying knocks after the Hamilton match? Could push Drapes back into Tansey's holding roll and have Doran playing behind Fisher? We have to go aggressive and show we mean business.
  11. So...we've a big match on Friday night against some diddy team from glasgow with no history... #comeonthecaleyjags
  12. Warren and Tremarco are both coaches for the U20's. I guess it's part of them doing their badges? Jason Brown has been at every development league game. Fisher and Cammy Mackay were also in attendance, along with the first team coaching staff. i would say this has been their best performance of the season. Still a bit slower on the ball and at the decision-making but showed much more threat tonight than in previous weeks. Promising. But definitely need to spend some time in the gym and with the protein shakes!
  13. For those that took part in the survey, and for everyone else too, here's the findings http://www.supporters-direct.scot/survey/
  14. Done. Great cause. And didn't even take 3 minutes!
  15. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/37547997?utm_content=bufferc47ce&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer really good article on an initiative from Sweden. Also, just found out we have a Fans Liaison Officer....?
  16. Don't need a full stand for it to be effective, it would help obviously. If there is enough to do the three sections, people outwith that area could be encouraged to move over temporarily to fill it up? Thats all dependant on us having enough card, cos I don't think we have any time left to order any especially for The Rangers game

Still haven't received the kit we pre-ordered for junior in July!! JD will be getting some harsh emails.... no sign of away stuff yet last I checked
  18. When he's playing in a wide role, he just doesn't! Often MIA and drifts inside to his clearly more favoured position. Agree with above, Vigurs is a back-up player, and shouldn't be starting ahead of mulraney or Doran
  19. Eh?! Who's condoning bad behaviour? And I'm certainly not criticising anyone for organising away trips! What I DO have issue with is that our image as supporters is that of the 'sweetie rustler' variety and there are members of our own support who perpetuate that by criticising the more vociferous amongst us. Violence is not the answer and is never acceptable, but goading and 'banter' between groups of fans is part of the football match experience. I honestly don't think any of our fans travel to games with the intention of being involved in any argy-bargy but perhaps some lack the maturity to walk away from confrontations. It doesn't help when people who weren't even at the match make assumptions based on pre-conceived ideas. as has been said previously, due to our small numbers at both home and away matches, these 'issues' seem to gain more attention than they really deserve and are no more serious than the handbags we saw on the pitch with Brad! All of the 'incidents' our supporters have been involved in could have been prevented and/or minimised by better policing and stewarding. edit. And while I'm at it, what's with leaving home games early? We moan about poor attendances but still feel the need to be rushing from the ground five minutes before time or at the very least leaving our seats and obscuring the views of those remaining. It's not like there's 50,000 of us trying to get home! How off putting it must be for the players to watch an exodus when they haven't even finished playing!
  20. I'd like to think we'll have the game wrapped up by then.....
  21. The man was 39 years old, so I propose a minutes applause at the 39 minute mark? Some things are bigger than club rivalry
  22. How the Inverness support is perceived and is perpetuated by our own support... how our own support perceive the Young Team/NSB's: Shanny deek mun!! We seem more intent on criticising our own support and booing our own team than anything else these days!
  23. Actually pretty decent getting our usual 200 down to the game, but with us spread all over the stand it looks ****! Getting serious pelters on social media. No mention of course of the piffle home support. Likely they were all at Ibrox!
  24. aye, and not surprising that Sportscene's coverage of the Championship has disappeared this season...
