Team News - Injuries and Suspensions etc
ok...i'm going to be the first of the season to question the training/sports science etc. regime at the club. Too many seasons of too many injuries. Aging squad? Poor training/recovery? I dont have the answers, just asking the question.

Something resembling a 8-1-1 would be fine for me!

TCS to be owned by club
Agree with that-one of our closest away games of the season...and not even 200 travelling fans. And some of them were the bloody crocked/suspended players! Also,me of the cheapest grounds for entry too! Any and all 'spare' money needs to go to the playing squad. Its up to the club sponsors to think about subsidising busses, displays etc.

St Johnstone -V- Inverness CT
Seen him a lot in the Dev league, and is solid, pacy, decent pass on him, and very vocal. I liked the bit of pace and forward thinking movement that wee Ali provided too. Id like to see the youth given a chance in the coming games...why not? If nothing else, they would show some will to win and hold on to that place in the team... today was disgusting. Toothless. Depressing. And predictable. I'm not gonna get on Richie's back yet, but things need shaken up a wee bit. Too predictable.

Team News - Injuries and Suspensions etc
From todays courier: As well as being without Horner and Mckay and Raven struggling, Scott Boden and Alex Fisher will also miss out through injury. Oh the joys...lets hope Carlos can keep pumping in the goals then!

Worst defensive record in the league
well, i see tanz leaving. if he goes, hopefully its in january and not next summer for feck all again. maybe his mind has already moved. Gaz is getting on a bit, and his lack of pace has shown up in the last few games, especially as he's been horsing up the field in attack. thought Josh has been pretty decent last few games actually... i think Richie still figuring out how to get the best out of the team. Has found a formation that works and is 'scared' to tinker? I'd like to see something adventurous, but i suspect a 4-5-1 away to the saints. With our defensive lack of numbers, i'd like to see 3 at the back, and Boden playing off big Lonny up top. I think we might see something more promising from him if given a full match. Not likely to be setting the heather on fire if given 20 minutes a month.

maybe that's more a reflection of the fact that the referees are sooo bad that Clancy's performance was indeed 'average'??

Inverness CT -V- Aberdeen
Lonny's banging in the goals....And for some reason, even at home, we play with only one striker! I've said it before, would like to see Boden playing off either of the big two target men, especially in the coming 'must win' games. And for Cherlie's benefit: These are must win games because, with the exception of St Johnstone, they are all against teams with effectively the same points total as us. We have been lucky with the way other results have been going, that we have stayed in a 'safe' position in the table. We need to win against those around us and hope to pick up 'bonus' points against those above us, if we want to regain our 6th spot.

Surely that's why there's a wall? What's the point in positioning a wall to defend half the goal, if the GK then stands central. The wall splits the goal in two, the GK then stands central in the other 'half' of the goal. Well taken free kick that got up and down well....although I don't remember seeing much of a jump from our guys. And once again guessing right for the pen and almost getting finger-tips on it.

Naw, whit pisses me off is that people think the boys go out there to play badly? We got beaten by a better team. Simple. It's no wonder they were off their game, I was getting frustrated in the stands, I can only imagine how they were feeling, out their on the park, getting mugged off by sheep and officials alike. a bit of an over-reaction- since our shocking start we've lost to Celtic, Rangers and Aberdeen....I'm not all that fussed about that tbh! Those are the games you'd look at and say, "well, a draw would be nice but I'm not expecting much..." and well, "firmly rooted to the bottom of the table" will still only be probably 3 points off 6th place :) everyone needs to just chill the fff out!

Player of the Year - Aberdeen
I often wonder if we are being biased towards the refs, because we don't seem to get decisions or whatever and that surely every team feels that way, but yesterday summed up the standard of Scottish referees and it's spoiling the game.

Inverness schools Coaching
The club have been running these courses since I was in school!!! seems like a cheap shot by Cunty more than anything else. also, my daughter got handed two free kids tickets for today's game at her session last week.... #prideofthehighlands #thehighlandsareours #foreverinourshadow

Sporting Intelligence Figures
So, am I understanding correctly - While we may initially be surprised that ICT are so high up the list, this is likely explained by the fact that we have a relatively small squad, with less youngsters to bring the average down? So our total wage would likely put us lower down the table. Any way you look at it, it's a lot of money for kicking a bag o wind around on a Saturday afternoon.... where's Charlie with his essays of rants...??

that must be his first start for a long while since picking up yet another injury? I wonder how long he'll last this time.

Development League 2016/17
from what i could see, the three of them, along with sam robertson were 'fluid' in the midfield. cole and billy playing through the middle some of the time. jake on both wings. cole seemed to finish up wide right. had some good wee touches and composed on the ball. i thought billy and jake were both guilty of over-playing though
