Inverness CT -V- St Johnstone
Well, Richie hinted at a change of formation and a change of personnel - has he made some tough decisions and dropped some 'big' names? will he go 4-4-2? will Lonsnana's paperwork be in order in time for him to start? Dreading an embarrassing defeat, but at least if we make a game of it i'll be happy! #COMEONTHECALEYJAGS

do you think we could shoe-horn 'Lonsana Doumbaya' in here....https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=video&cd=4&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwiKvbPjwNzOAhVKAcAKHUc6DrQQtwIIJjAD&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DELcmEv4pGJQ&usg=AFQjCNFVN5u1MihFlEch0sRNzePgP-86xg&bvm=bv.130731782,d.ZGg- Summer Transfer Window Thread
effectively, 10 goals from 34 starts last season.... does look to have a fair bit more strength about him than Boden though! under contract with Cercle until the summer, so we could have spent some of our budget that we don't have....- Summer Transfer Window Thread

i like the mini-scarves with the wee suction cups for the car window, but haven't been able to source any. i prefer a nice polo shirt to a replica kit anyway.- Summer Transfer Window Thread
suffered the whole game, and saw nothing that would warrant a signing. i'm actually happy that we've opted for not signing, rather than signing anyone we can get...- Summer Transfer Window Thread

We need to get to the International break with a point on the board. We may well still be firmly rooted to the foot of the table, but the guys cant go into that break with 4 losses. I'd like to go 4-4-2 and win by the 'score more goals than them' tactic, but i doubt that will happen. i'd be happy playing all of our fit defenders and resting our strikers and Jake and playing a 6-4-0 formation, which in effect would be a 9-1-0... not going to happen. I would hazard a guess that following Jake's cramp issue, he'll be swapped out for Billy King, but we should be starting both of them. In reality though, it looks like Richie's struggling to have the bottle to make some big decisions, or is he seeing something in training that isn't showing itself on matchday. My starting line up for next Saturday: Esson - OFW struggling for confidence and has looked shakey since returning from Euro's. Give him some game time in the reserves. Esson is also VERY vocal at the back, and this will help the team defending Tremarco - Pass marks in all games so far. Consistent. Warren - Mostly solid, gives everything, not sure if he's doing enough as a captain though Meekings - Will get better as he gets back up to match sharpness Horner - Has been far better than Raven. Needs to start. Offers something decent going forwards too Tansey - Not been having his best games of late, is reading the game well, trying to go the right direction, but his execution has been somewhat lacking as yet King - We have width and pace, we need to utilise it Draper - Solid, great presence, has made a difference since returning to starting line up Polworth - Just pips Vigurs to the starting line-up, but only just. Hasn't been great this season and needs a serious kick up the erse Mulraney - We have width and pace, we need to utilise it Fisher - Target man. Strong. Has looked sharp coming off the bench. Should be able to hold the ball up better than Boden Boden - Needs to take his chances better. Will do better having another Striker alongside him. Subs: OFW, Doran (not far away from starting, and would push out both Vigurs and Polly in the above lineup) Brown, Raven, Sutherland, MacRae, Robertson If we cant fill the bench with first team, why cant we throw a couple of the youngsters on there to give them that match-day experience. I don't think this is how we will line up though, we will stick to form, a 4-4-1-1. We will continue to try and accommodate all of Tansey, Vigurs, Draper and Polworth on the field at the same time, it won't work and we will struggle. Or it will work and we'll hand out a beating...not putting any money on that though. What we need to do though, is get BEHIND THE PLAYERS. we WILL lose more goals before we come good, we WILL try and force passes that aren't quite on and lose the ball, we WILL end up launching long balls from the back with 10 minutes left and two goals down...but if our own fans continue to boo and jeer everything that doesnt go our way then why should the players show any will or desire when their 'best' efforts are being met with such derision. We don't have a god-given right to win, or to do well, or even to stay in the Premiership. We continue to punch well above our weight and its a testament to the club that we are not used to being in this position. Let's get behind our team, and show Richie and the players that we're BEHIND THEM ALL THE WAY!! #COMEONTHECALEYJAGS- Blind Happy Clappers

and by the same token, players who are guaranteed a start here, may well be 'happy' to sit on the bench at a winning team, and pick up a little extra money to boot, i.e tansey, draper and meekings- Blind Happy Clappers
i'd argue that if we throw money at the problem like many on here are suggesting, then it would be conceivable that ticket prices would actually have to go up in order for us to remain solvent, as attendances would drop and league revenue would drop also.- Signed framed ICT shirt

i'd hae that! thats smashing, that- Friendly at Nairn
so much for 'engaging with fans' more. i know its hard enough to get people to a game at the TCS on a saturday afternoon, but some of us would happily watch the unders/reserves if local enough to get to.- Hearts -V- Inverness CT
what funds, there IS NO BUDGET. Not really, its looking inspired - he's out injured yet again. THERE IS NO BUDGET Going forwards and backwords, most definitely. No, Richie was balling at the players a lot today, as was Rice. Raven was shocking - I think maybe Hughes saw something we didnt.... Foran's going nowhere. you dont hand out a 4-year deal then kick him out after three games. get a grip mun! and THERE IS NO BUDGET!! How do we know they aren't? and would you rather we over spent, got relegated anyway and oh, go bust because we've overspent on a Premiership budget and we're now playing in the Championship. and likely grumble at the ST prices staying the same when we playing in the Championship?? oh yes and THERE IS NO BUDGET!! The awarding of a 4-year contract is THAT support. Its clear they realise its a long-term project, and that things aren't going to be easy, which is why they've given him time. We need to do the same. Same old same old on here - the board need to release funds! ffs mun!! we get an average gate of around 3k! theres no funds anywhere!! are they going to bankrupt themselves as individuals to try and dig the club out of a financial mess that it doesn't need to go in?! I'd rather play in the championship than go bust tbh. As said, going forward we were very much on a par, quality wise, and the first goal seemed to come against the run of play imho. Defence throughout the team was shocking - giving them too much time and space on the ball, getting cut apart like hot knife through butter, we made it waay to easy for them. next week, i'd be happy with a 6-4-0 formation and secure a 0-0 and a ,much needed point. time for ugly, park-the-bus football! :) - Summer Transfer Window Thread
