  1. Because a TV audience is more lucrative (and preferred) to a 'Live' audience... :001:
  2. Which will probably mean 2 pm Sunday when the game is on.... :023: :001:
  3. Just because I'm planning on coming up for the CIS cup game in Aberdeen and also our visit to Ibrox I have been told of impending doom and gloom on the weather front. The story was in the Daily Express but I haven't seen it anywhere else and that includes the weather web sites. The following quote is particulary worrying: Mr Corbyn, who predicts the weather by measuring the effects of solar flare activity on our atmosphere, said he was ?90 per cent certain? that the storms would hit as expected. The first is set to lash the nation from October 26 to November 1 and will affect most of Britain, he said. Winds will reach 80-100mph and there could be some tornado activity. But this is just the ?warm-up?. Stormy Weather Anything to sell newspapers eh!....
  4. Come on IHE, lets be friendly here and show some of that Highland 'hospitality'. After all I'm an ex Brum fan who went 'glory hunting' :004: to Airdrie when Caledonian played there in the cup and I've never looked back. Maybe this guy is seeking far more entertainment than can be found at Wolves (he may also be a Baggies or Walsall fan by the way). No harm in telling him how to get to the promised land......is there :symbol_question: :001:
  5. Always good to hear the opposition manager gobbing off about how good his side is....that'll have the effect of building up our guys even more so they'll go out on Sunday and smear on his rose tinted glasses. (I hope!)
  6. Loads of options for travelling north but it all depends on your budget. Train: From Wolves (I assume Wolves as your name suggests that area) you?ll need to head for Glasgow or Edinburgh and thence from there to Inverness. Through trains are available from Wolves to Glasgow / Edinburgh. There is nothing direct to Inverness. The train option is not always the cheapest but, generally speaking, the earlier you book the cheaper it is. Air: The only direct flight from Birmingham is operated by Eastern Airways but you?ll need a mortgage to use it, typical return fare is ?400 (ish). Other Airlines from Brum include Flybe and BMIBaby who will get you as far as Glasgow/Edinburgh or Aberdeen. Ryanair fly direct from East Midlands to Inverness on Mon, Tue and Fri only. Easy Jet fly direct to Inverness from Luton, Bristol and Liverpool. Road: M6; M74; A80; M80; M9; A9. Walk: Staffs & Worces canal; Trent & Mersey Canal; Macclesfield canal; Pennine Way to Kirk Yetholm; then head for Dunfermline and pick a Highland March route!!! Drop me a PM if you need assistance. National Rail Eastern Airways BMIbaby Flybe Easy Jet Ryan Air
  7. I take it the guy who wrote the Tims 'Hibees' banter slogan also wrote the T-Shirt.... :024: :blah01:
  8. It'd probably loose its effect due to the lack of a west stand. I recall once some ICT fans tried to start a mexican wave at Ayr but there was only 65 of them. Maybe Mantis could elaborate on that :symbol_question: Personally I'm not a fan of the 'wave.
  9. Aye, it's been on for a day or two....can't see him winning this one though and he may have to continue his career elsewhere.
  10. Don't worry Tug....SPL wages v 3rd Div pocket money, no contest!! He'll be back and be a lot better for it. Keep the faith. :004:
