  1. This could be the start of exciting times....maybe. Wishing the new management team and players all the very best. Could Scott become the new 'Pele'? That would be brilliant. Come on ICT
  2. The start of new era under Scott and Billy. Here's hoping for a winning start and the return of attacking football. Could Scott be the new 'Pele'? Good luck and safe travels to all.
  3. Even though this was expected it still hits you that your football club has been run into the ground by shear incompetence at the top of the tree. The rot started (for me) after we won the Scottish Cup and gradually got worse. I'm confident that we will bounce back..in time. Tonight I feel really sorry for all those good folk who will probably be out of work now. Sad times indeed.
  4. Marley Watkins...legend.
  5. I'm struggling with this Go Fund Me malarky tbh. £200k in two weeks? What happens after that? Another Go Fund Me for November etc etc? Don't get me wrong, I don't want ICTFC to die. Those folk at the top that got us into this mess in the first place have more money than me and they're all collectively responsible for it so maybe they should cough up.

Many thanks for that. So, half the season will be over meaning the shirts well be half price then. 🤔🤣

Still out of stock according to the web site. Will there be any more coming in?

I've not bought a top for a long time as I prefer the leisure / training type stuff. I might make an exception this time if only to increase the coffers for AS / ICT. I'm not over keen on the change to the badge but, as a one off, it's fine and very well designed. I'll probably need to see it 'in the flesh' but, in the meantime, I'll think about.
  9. We desperately need to start wining. With big Dunc taking a wage cut will this make him more disinterested than he usually is....I judge his interest by his 'thoughts' in interviews. Anyway, hope there is a big crowd to get behind the lads and show gratitude / support / thanks to Mr Savage.
  10. So, he can't manage his own personal finances as well as a football team....
  11. The money he has in his piggy bank he could do the job on a voluntary basis with no wage....no....scratch that....he can't do the job anyway.
  12. Best news to come out of the club in a good while. Happy Gringo tonight. As rightly mentioned by others in this thread, its a start and we have long way to go in the rebuilding process now only at club level but also local business and community level too. Hopefully the seeds to a great future take hold. Oh, and thank you Mr Savage.
  13. Well, having read that interview, I can only conclude that this fella is in cuckoo land. We will see.
  14. I was wondering the other day whether you'd take this on again. I know it's been a struggle especially with site issues. Those issues appear to have stabilised just now (I hope I haven't just jinxed it). Fair play to you and great that you are keeping it going. I had a good season last time out so I'll try to better it. CDN Girl is the Champion and the one to catch. No need for us Mods to get involved - you are in control, you are the man. Good luck to all players. Looking forward to another frustrating competition and injury time heartbreakers
  15. ..and back to Annan the week after. Reading the reports from our cup game there we did ok and were unlucky.
  16. Cast your minds back to 1994/95 season. League Cup. Our first season in the league. Dundee away on a Wednesday night. We lost 3-0. We're Dundee SPL back then? Just saying.
  17. ...and a manager who knows exactly how to do that
  18. Shades of Livvy away...but we a had and manager then...
  19. The jury is out for me. With SG still there I can't see this move being of any use to ICT or its supporters. I guess we'll all just have to wait and see if there are mega bucks within this company and they make this work.
  20. Oh my goodness me. I'm shocked by this news. What a guy. Have met him on many occasions, a true Caley and ICT legend who loved the club over many years. My sincere condolences to all his family and friends. Love and respect to you Johndo may you rest in peace.
  21. Probably a little too early to call this one for me. The threat of administration still hangs in the air and that could be the deciding factor. A 15 points deduction would almost certainly see us in L2 next season. IF we get new owners and investment then we could possibly make a challenge for the L1 title. Looking at the current squad and performances I can't see us making a challenge this season. We currently have a small squad and we get a spate of injuries - like we always do - we will struggle. I also feel sure the current manager isn't up to the job in hand. Lets see how it goes during the first few league matches.
  22. 4-1...nice attacking display of football from Caley then eh Dunc. Just go.
  23. Good job it's not tomorrow as you'd all miss the England game.
