  1. Point of interest regarding players /staff and media / podcasts, do other clubs have an embargo on their staff? As mentioned elsewhere in this thread some companies don't allow staff to talk to the media without permissions first. Having said that, this was never a problem for our podcast until now....was it?
  2. Yep...we need a team.
  3. I bet it was close after that late 'stonewall' penalty claim 😆 From my comfy vantage point some 460 miles South of the stadium, I though we played quite well. Utd weren't brilliant though so maybe that made us look better? Devine was my man of the match. Not sure about Carragher though. As mentioned in other posts, too many safe passes and defo should have picked up a yellow. We had several chances to pull the trigger but, for whatever reason, decided to pass it back or go square. Harsh that we didn't get at least a point as I thought we were the much better side. I also had to chuckle when Dodds mentioned the lack of options on the bench. Broomhill are up next so hopefully we can use this match as shooting practice before heading to Starks Park
  4. It was on Nation 60's Radio the other day. 😇
  5. There a few comments on 'X' regarding this post. Appears the away team/fans are treated like royalty.
  6. Hope the result doesn't shatter their confidence.
  7. Gringo replied to tm4tj's topic in Caley Thistle
I'm going to take some credit for this result. It was risky but it worked - I went for the draw in the NAPS competition so I knew we'd either win or lose. It was a 50/50 risk. 😇
  8. Good luck ladies. Hope there's a good crowd there to cheer them on.
  9. Rebuilding, getting rid of the deadwood and bringing in new (better) players will cost. Lots. We haven't got it. We're skint. We have to survive this season there is no doubt about that. Relegation would almost certainly mean going part time and the slide will continue. Dunc had turned around our fortunes with that 'new manager bounce' but that bounce has now gone flat. Has he got what it takes to get it back? I certainly hope so.
  10. 'I'll just have a half of whatever you're on. HNY
  11. Ayr away game on Saturday is crucial (as they all are to be fair) but if we lose that....we have the Arabs [H] and Raith [A] to follow. As it stands and judging by current form, I think we're looking at three straight defeats. If we do manage to kidnap good players to come and play for Inverness CT I doubt there will be much time for them to settle in. No doubt in my mind that this is a battle for survival and not just the Championship.
  12. We need to spend the millions we haven't got and some quality players that aren't available or don't wont to move to the Highlands for a naff contract. Ayr, Arabs and Raith next up in the league so the task is very daunting indeed. Even Broomhill might not provide any relief from the doom and gloom. The powers that be need to work some magic.
  13. There must me more interesting things on the telly box at 3 p.m....then again...there's always YouTube I suppose. A tough away assignment indeed. After reading the reports from our last few games I am not confident we will get anything from this game. No Spoony in the team and a shot shy strike force! Has the makings of another dire outcome. Come on Big Dunc and ICT, get out of this rut you've made. Go smash and grab three points.
  14. So we lose possession straight from the kick off. That's class.
  15. BBC Scotland defo choose the wrong game last night. That was dire stuff. Low crowd in a large stadium also made it a tedious watch. I'm not convinced we will come away with anything from Firhill today but there's always hope. You only have to look at the result from Villa Park last night to believe anything can happen. Mon the Caley Jags.
  16. We'll be fiiiiine...we scored 5 against the North Cup Winners the other night.
  17. So sad to hear this news. Sincere condolences to all his family and friends.
  18. This is a must win game in my view. Lose this and we're back in the mire [were we actually out of it?] after all the hard work to get us the table a wee bit.
  19. Gringo replied to Yngwie's topic in Caley Thistle
Never seen a league table like that. @YngwieYour mission....should you choose to accept..😁 [ OFF TOPIC Alert: A number of years ago a newspaper compiled a league table of the SPL each week in which the goalscorers were Scottish. Any goal scored by non Scots were disallowed]
  20. I saw that too. As others have said I also didn't see any issues inside or outside the ground. Probably is a flares/smoke bomb issue. I don't recognise any of them in those poor images.
  21. I'm sure we'll brush them aside [see what I did there]....just like we did with Cowden.
  22. AS you say...never in doubt. 😁
  23. Big Duncs ICT record in cup comps isn't very good.....just saying like I'm sure we'll be fiiiiine..
  24. Go Derek...third time lucky to get them down.
