  1. Getting players back from injury would be like having new signings. Once they're back we need to stop them (and others) from breaking again. I think the wages pot is most definitely in the red so, for me, we won't be seeing any additions to the squad.

What is the role and job spec of the Director of Football? This post seems to be relatively new in the football world. Certainly a post you never heard of back in the day. Maybe they do a lot of work in the background that fans never to get to know about. To me, with all due respect to Robbo, it's seems like a post we can ill afford.
  3. Darvel were brilliant..or did Aberdeen make them look good? No, I don't think they did. Darvel were at them from the start. Rode their luck on quite a few occasions but hung in there. Falkirk up next for them and every chance of QF place if they put in the same kind of performance.

    See...told you so

Hopefully the Manager of the Month curse will see it spinning out of Coyles web and there'll be no flies on us. Tough one to call. Both teams banging goals in recently so...this has 0-0 written all over it 😅

Big wins for both sides last week. This has got 0-0 written all over it 🤔😆 Hope not mind.
  8. Very true. Hopefully after this 6-1 win we'll go on a run of 11 games without defeat.🤔🤣
  9. I think we deserve to be optimistic after that result - even we only scored four of the six goals. A win certainly adds some much needed joy from the recent dross. A win like can have a remarkable effect on motivation so who knows what will happen. Time will tell.
  10. 15 points if I remember correctly. Another victim of the Caley sacking machine. How many is that now?
  11. Changed his handle to Yompa in the days of the Highland March. Still alive and well in East Ayrshire.
  12. I really can't see a protest doing any good to be fair. At the end of the day we haven't got the finances to start sacking people or buying quality players. Yes, it would indeed highlight the feelings of our supporters, but they already know that - don't they 🤔
  13. The onset of social media in its many forms has curtailed visits to CTO. So many have left this platform. As an example, I've been running the Prediction League [NLP] almost since CTO began and I've seen entries fall from a high of 80+ to just 20 regular players.

Aye, saw that incident on the box too and couldn't help thinking we could do with some of that passion in our team. Have him sent to ICT on the next coach North.
  15. I like the sound of this. Esson showed what he can do when the U18's took on Hamilton recently. Be so much better than what we have in place now and between them they'd have a dressing room of players wanting to play for them.

Very best wishes to you all. Hopefully ICT will turn things around in 2023 🤔
  17. In my view our decline started after winning the Scottish Cup. A mass exodus of quality players left us bereft of the talent to sustain our lofty position. Relegation was inevitable. Today's ICT are just not good enough to make a push for promotion. Yes, we've had a wretched amount of luck with injuries etc but surely we have players in the squad who have the pride and determination to at least put in a fighting performance on the park instead of just, what seems like, giving up as the whistle blows for kick off. Our tactics are awful, we have no pace and no 'play maker' to create chances and certainly no one to finish them off when we do. Changes need to happen soonest otherwise we'll be dropping down the leagues and back to our roots.
  18. Just confirmed - GAME OFF
  19. Your efforts to post something of a preview are greatly appreciated down here. Our club seem intent on distancing themselves from the fan base. Sad times. It's as if we don't exist. Hopefully these young lads can put on a show and get a favorable result and avoid a gubbing. Good luck to them all.
  20. Gave up on the Twitter updates ages ago. Not as good as it used to be. Got fed up of clicking 'refresh' every 5 mins to find nothing new.
  21. Oh my goodness, this is so sad. I never met him personally but would have liked to. Sincere condolences to all who knew him.
  22. For the life of me, I can't see why he would want to carry on playing even at HL level. I hope he doesn't kill himself doing it. A strange decision for me.
  23. Imrie seems to know how to play us. His task made easier by our depleted squad. I fear the worst in this one - hope not of course. Chance of a point if we (can) park the bus.
  24. Out with not so much as a whimper. This isn't Caley. Far from it. Sad times.
  25. Can't see us winning this tie...or any other match come to that.
