  1. Be better next time.?
  2. Agree no place for it. We all swear, we must do as we go to the TCS FFS, however I don’t involve the Pope, the Queen, the IRA or the UDA. What I find slightly bizarre is that it was Nathan who filmed it and knowing what the reaction would be if it WAS a sectarian chant, went ahead and posted it? Bright as a blackout. A firm reprimand if it is correct but the audio for me is not clear enough to be confident it was of a sectarian nature. For what it’s worth like......
  3. Unfortunately massive budget cuts had to be made with the current board/ Robbo taking, I believe, £1Million off the wage bill. We are seeing the impact now. Difficult for us to know we have tremendous youngsters in the wings but particularly for young defenders I think you have to be careful blooding them. Just would love to see a bit more hustle and passion at times.
  4. Hi Hearach, home car park open to dump th ecar, just for clarity? Are the club opening the Sports Bar do we know or just Caley Club? I'd rather spend my money here than Dingwall... ?
  5. Wow, that was tough to watch. Can’t decide if we dropped two points or saved one?. Ridgers kept us alive at least twice. Nothing new to add I think. Possibly need to consolidate in Championship and look to build for future squads in line with Immortals comments before. Yup, I’m agreeing.......?
  6. Absolutely. My point was, perhaps laboured, I’m not convinced it is that easy for someone to find unless they go searching. I think in today’s world, people want everything on a plate! I understand that things like CTO take a huge amount of effort to keep going and applaud all who do so, even although I have upset a former Howden Ender. Of which I was since 1978 myself..... but us thinking everything is accessible doesn’t necessarily make it so. Best, WH
  7. Replied in the same vein as you good sir. Didn’t think your response was warranted in the first instance tbh. My initial comment was not a criticism, merely to see if I was the only one. But your right - I’ll stick to football comments and that way everything will stay the same as before and people will shrug their shoulders and say what’s the point in saying anything. ‘‘Tis the season, have a good Xmas and a healthy 2019. Slainte
  8. Thanks for your input. Despite the hopefully sarcastic dig at our mortal enemies, we need them to spend to improve finances surely. Crap match day experience means diminished crowds does it not? Or should this not be on here as it is not riveting football chat. Also apologies for highlighting that a mere mortal such as myself points out that finding out what is happening at the club and travelling to an away game could be better communicated. Perhaps you should hold an interview before allowing people on to ensure they match your high intellect, flair for airing your opinion and ensure that they share your views. Presume you have a chip on both shoulders, hence your wonderful balanced views. Anyway, must go and start wrapping up for this afternoons game.......
  9. After the last derby at TCS, I emailed the SLO about a below average report on the match day experience for friends of ours who came over for dinner after the game. Fair enough, they are County fans but the catering was really poor which reflects badly on the club. I never received an acknowledgment so wonder how effective this new role is proving? Also, I think communication has gone backwards in terms of social media platforms. There must be a plethora of people who could contribute in the stadium with updates, match reports, forthcoming ticket sales, transport etc.? If it wasn’t for ICT Travel on FB, I wouldn’t have known there was a bus for example. Anyone have similar thoughts or just me ?
  10. It seems quite amazing that the "previous board", whoever that encompasses can leave a veritable trail of destruction in their wake and not be held accountable for doing so. These were people who ran their own business but yet seemed to leave the business brain at the door when they enter TCS. Did any of them run their own empire in this manner? No would be the short answer. Chicken and egg - quite honestly, if the club had funds I would be suggesting that the individuals concerned for this situation be pursued and held accountable personally. There is an obvious concern for any incumbent directors if the club gets into financial difficulty as you need to then disclose your involvement in any business which has gone into liquidation etc going forward - most of the new board have inherited a sh1t storm which is not of their own making. On the plus side, I always find Robbo to be very direct at player sponsor evenings and he never ducks a question if he knows the answer - respect for that - and his comments seems completely in line with what most of us are thinking. To be left with OFW seems bizarre and again a legacy of the ludicrous contracts issued by the "old board" - were they blinded by a season of success where the stars aligned for us for once??!!
  11. We need to ditch the craic about giving up and selling season tickets etc. Downward spiral then of dwindling crowd, less finances available, better players get enticed away and we can’t afford to replace..... I missed the game yesterday tbf but I’ve witnessed some sh1te in my time. What else you gonna do on a Saturday? Boozer? Dingwall? I’ve gone too far..... Looking out extra layers for Tuesday already! ICTTID
  12. Aye, the Lino was like Usain Bolt. Kwality. Hard fought draw; coulda, woulda, shoulda but we push on. Great performance just gutted no home games now for ages.
  13. Don't think we've ever met but as a fellow soft Dalneigh ****** we may have. My bro was diagnosed 5 years ago and was just 50, by a sheer fluke so I have been getting tested yearly. Not the highlight of my year but the look on the Docs face when I asked if he was obliged to take me out to dinner after always makes me laugh. More than likely that this is what took my Dad in 89, the awareness wasn't there at that time. I genuinely wish you all the best and a swift road to recovery. I've done Movember three times and have sported various styles - most of which were licked away by a kitten on December 1st to be fair. Best wishes mun.
  14. Echo all sentiments on here. Freezing cold, doesn't help the atmosphere for sure. We lacked zip going forward and for me it was obvious that there was too much space between Coll and Brad which they exploited time and time again yet Robbo nor the players seemed to react to this? Both goals conceded we gave the ball away too cheaply - we simply can't keep doing that. Not sure what was going on with Jordan at the end - words were obviously exchanged but two things for me. Love or loathe, is he not our top goalscorer and but for his goals would we not be in a far worse position? Not checked, just assuming. Strikers are confidence players and if a section of the crowd are on our top scorers back, it's not doing us any favours is it? That said, he needs to rise above (not inviting any jump related jibes please) and concentrate on the game. Highlights for me - Trafford I thought was good and although it looked like he took a knock before he went off, it looked suspiciously like Chalmers was already getting stripped before this - sure there is a good reason for taking off our best player of the night but I'll leave that to Robbo to answer - injury aside. Ricardo Calder - showed again why we need him on. Coll was immense. Not so good, Walsh had a quiet one, Daniel was perhaps schooled by the big boys in the nefarious art of defending on the blind side but his time will come. And absolutely no point in asking White to clearly fulfill a holding striker role when no bugger is there to play off him - or just me? We need to get behind the team, particularly Saturday and lose chants like the one a boy beside me on leaving shouted to Jordan - "You owe us a goal Saturday Jordan". WTAF? Jumping on the bandwagon, this time last year, Dunfermline would probably have torn us a new one so let's pretend we go to the game to support our team not just vent a spleen and moan??!!
  15. All been said. Draws and indiscipline could cause us a real problem at the back end. And we desperately need a 25 a season striker, or better still 2. That said, Austin and Oakley were really causing problems for defences before injuries so the sooner they are fit the better.
  16. Thought it was good, I sponsor Charlie Trafford. Good to see players in a casual setting and hear their take on things. Robbo always speaks well - nice shirt too....- and frank comments made. No board but then I don’t think they are required. Roddy Ross always there tbf. Certainly a busier night than the previous couple I’ve been to and the wee man loves it as he gets to see the players up close.
  17. Lots of comment about us finding our level in Championship and I have no real issue with that. However, I look forward to seeing a bit of fight, passion determination and entertaining football and it is when you get very little of all of the aforementioned it is very frustrating as they are more capable than what we saw Saturday for sure. But performances like this will end up in fans sitting at home I think....
  18. Very poor. Surely young Daniel needs a chance to prove himself. Brad M what a dreadful give away, hand ball or not. Too many draws could haunt us at the back end. Boy in front said he’s getting fed up leaving like he’s just lost a family member. Reasonable description......
  19. Not good. Must win second ball. Vast improvement required in second half.
  20. Heard that two fans got battered - one in The Mallard (ICT) and one RCFC on the way to the game, both quite badly? Any truth in that? Poor craic - thought we were above all that sh1te up here like - doesn't make for good reading. There may be some young team angle but in ye olden days, did this not take place away from the game rather than a random guerrilla style attack on one individual who stands little chance against a mob? Whatever, sounds like a real kicking was administered so let's hope they recover well both physically and mentally and that the individuals concerned are suitably reprimanded. By the correct authorities....
  21. Oops. My response above....?
  22. Interesting point. I said the same thing this morning. The seats being so close helps the atmosphere I think as you are right on top of the action. If we could recreate yesterday in terms of noise every week, the team would surely benefit. Missing QOS as my brother getting married. Very inconsiderate ......???
  23. Dominating first half performance. Just needed some passes to drop. Staggies came into it second half for me . Thought Ridgers made some very good stops. My wee boy got searched, but not me. He’s 12. WTAF? And yet still flares in the jail end..... good noise today, drowned em out. Happy with a point, let’s give them a proper welcome at TCS ??
  24. Trafford on, good disruptor and leaves two up. Calder deffo. Good Rooney and Poly fit. Let’s have it, a good away support on song and give some of our ex players some stick. Nothing personal just enough to niggle.... desperate for a result, two staggies are back at the house for a beer later?. Mon the Caley
