  1. I'm inclined towards the above but I'm not yet 100% convinced by Duff. I'd maybe opt for McCann instead
  2. This was reported HERE a couple of weeks ago.
  3. Sadly the people in power are blinkered old fools. Yes I agree that its time to get more coaching and less competiteveness but publishing or not publishing results will never achieve that. The best way to achieve it is to ban mothers and fathers from games.
  4. Keeper thinks 'Oh F**K......Adam thinks just as I did................that ball aint gonna cross the line........its going to stop just before it.
  5. Very true OCG. The club appreciates every penny and Guzz has put a lot of time and effort into being the 'Internuttersand Innes Bar player sponsorship lead person over a number of years now. Initially there was enough persons contributing to sponsor Grants home shirt. Now we are able to offer even more and sponsor a number of others as well. Be it boots, training top or whatever. Paypal has eased the workload a little for Guzz but she still has to chase people up at times. Usually because paths dont cross too often. This seasons response has been brilliant and its great to feel a part of that and to know that when you read the matchday programme and see Internutters and Innes Bar Supporters Club among the player sponsors that is us.
  6. When the event was planned monday play was not envisaged so no plans were put in place for security, refreshments, ticketing etc. Limited resources were made available but numbers had to be kept down. To be fair I think the organisers done very well to be able to extend the match to monday.
  7. Think even in desperation Hibs would bodyswerve that one. Maybe Mr Robertson would be interested.
  8. Thats the pie man and the pie quality controller for TCS didnt ya know! Thats us, only had the one(on a diet as you can see) on Saturday and very nice it was too. Alex, yes that was us at end Row R, Was a few seats along from you. Will introduce next time.
  9. Was you sat at the end of row R sec G. If so I'll know you next time.
  10. Tis ok...........he came across the pitch to ask the lads how to go about joining ICT supporters club.
  11. Running over the Menie dunes with tail firmly between legs methinks. In the words of yon chant on saturday: Your not famous any more! In fact you never have been since 1983 though you try and milk that one more than the english do 1966.
  12. I think Mowbray could be hanging back for a job in Yorkshire. Whoever it is I think it should not be a former player or manager. They need someone totally new. Perhaps even look abroad. Just an added thought though..........Martin O'neill anyone???
  13. Having watched the highlights from the various angles on offer I think Paton did deliberately try and hurt Hayes by pushing his studs into the lads midrif. Whether it deserved a red or just a yellow I'm not sure. Tokely went in from behind and got the ball. No studs showing and feet low to the ground. The tackle, although resulting in injury, was no more than clumsy and deserving of a yellow. Tokely probably shouldn't have even made the tackle cos the lad was going knowhere anyway, but he did and he got another card to add to his tally. At the end of the day refs have to make decisions based on what they interpret at the time and probably as many decisions go in favour of a team as go against. They have not the hindsight of replays so, like it or not, the decision should be accepted. I could list a number of instances where ICT have been at the recieving end of a wrong decision just as I could list a few occassions when an Aberdeen player should have walked. McGhee is one of those in the game who seems to think refs have a vendetta against his teams. He was the same at 'Well.
  14. Linky here Who's the guy in pic 65
  15. I'm at Prestwick tomorrow night for a cargo job, staying at the Holiday Inn in Ayr. Should I go and have a chat with Harry about the Killie game sesh and "shuttle" arrangements or did you remember to call him?? Why the hell would you drink in ayr before a game in kilmarnock. They are about half an hour apart! Yup, 25 mins along the A79 in a car or a 4 hour walk... Or he's travelling to Prestwick down M77 / A77 and plans a short detour into Kilmarnock to arrange a sesh there. Though I think the sesh could be at a certain pub in Ayr. Not a bad plan if transport to game is provided. Half hour drive from Ayr to Killie or half hour walk from Killie town centre to ground.
  16. Sorry RiG, maybe its my style of writing, or my intended meaning is not being interprated as I intend. I dont see any Main v North rivalry in this thread. I'd like to hear noise from all sections of the ground but sound does not carry well between stands, especially if your up the back, and, it would appear, does not carry well within the north stand. Missus and I were forced to stand for whole game (no complaint on that score) because we were in the middle of the guys chanting for most of it. My initial post was not an us v them but to point out that the north stand were just as vocal. Something thats not very usual at TCS.
  17. A shame really. I'd have put my money on McGhee going first. Hughes tried his best at Hibs and had those in power not sold some good talent to line their own pockets things may have been different. Hibs have made a killing on a number of players brought through their system but there's no sign of investment in decent replacements and if that system doesn't change they wont have success with any manager.
  18. Good to get the info even if it is in the wrong place. I'm sure Gringo can move it to ICT though
  19. Cant be bothered searching for all teams but 04/05 season we had 42pts at the split and finished 8th on 44pts. 6th place finished league on 49pts 05/06..............................43..................................................7th on 58pts. 6th place finished league on 56pts. 06/07.............................36...................................................8th......46.............................................................50 07/08.............................36...................................................9th......43..............................................................52 (Thank feck for Gretna) 08/09.............................32...................................................Rel.....37..............................................................48 Hope that gives you food for thought.
  20. Iwelumo has improved considerably since yon fateful miss way back when. 7 goals from 10 starts this season so far. I'd like to see him start alongside Miller. I think his size would compliment Kenny's pace.
  21. Dots.....a system whereby someone can give a positive or negative response to a particular post. Personally I've ignored them.
  22. Believe it or not I wasn't trying to decry the main stand. Just giving credit to those in the north who chanted relentlessly throughout the match. I use the north stand and I use the main stand and one cannot hear the other. Thats a problem of stadium design.
  23. Personally I couldn't hear anything from the main stand. Probably cos me and missus were right in among the lads in section G and nothing could be heard over them.
  24. There's no public info on player wages but the total wage bill for our club is around ?2 million a year. This is very small feed compared to teams like Celtic and Rangers who have individual players on ridiculous wages.
  25. Thank christ I chose to go to TCS today and not the Fort.
