  1. Not quite. Just back offshore after three weeks of bodily abuse and a bit fuzzy headed. had Bebo and Facebook open and posted on wrong one. Simple mistake for a Highlander of my intelligence.
  2. Why would Andy Jackson or Stevie Milne want to come to us? They are on similar wages as we pay. They are very likely to win a league medal this season. They are very likely to be in SPL next season. We can't gaurantee we will be.
  3. Q CaleyD Depends on the situation. If I were a weegie then maybe I would all the time. As it is mine are a collection and only the current ones are worn on matchdays. Even when I'm offshore. But thats just to wind up the minnions from Aberdire.
  4. Rory has had more chances than most. He's almost 22 now. He was punted from Aberdeen because of his attitude to his career. Got the opportunity here and just didn't take it. I was one of those who tried defending him when others were slating him but one can only argue for so long. He could be a great player but until he wakes up and realises he has to work for that then he'll not get any more chances. My mistake in the Prunty / Bingham mix up.

All those we've signed could be described as experienced footballers. They've been in the game for a good few years. Have all played at a similar level. Some have even played at International level. And the window ain't closed till feb 4th. Byrne, like l_g say's could very well benifit from our fitness / medical care regime. How he performs is another matter. But at least lets be a bit more positive until proved otherwise.

Lets put it another way. We chase a player and sign him for three years. He turns out not to be what was expected. We're stuck with him unless he agree's by 'mutual consent'.

According to one newspaper and a website the Latvian is on loan. Byrne is a short term fix who could break down anytime. The two Hibee's are being given time to prove their worth. Sounds like very good business to me. Try before you buy.
  8. Not according to the P&J today..... "McAllister and Djebi-Zadi will then be allowed to leave when their contracts expire in the summer, although no decision has yet been made on Sutherland, who was on loan at Elgin City last season." Most of us realised Rory wasn't good enough several years ago and now he has to do a 'Prunty' and drop a couple of divisions and rebuild his career Didn't prunty do a money grab to Gretna? Brew has said, in Courier I think, that Zadi and McAllister will not be getting new contracts. He will, however, be keeping a close eye on Zander. Rory got his chance and didn't take it. Zander is now getting that same chance and hopefully he'll find a decent loan deal and take advantage.
  9. Portaloo's?? The middle ones the pie shop!
  10. People seem to have such short memories. Did not Caff and Wyness struggle to get back into the ICT first team after being replaced by Dods and McAllister. Does that make them unsuitable players.

http://www.chambersbar.co.uk/food.html F'king brilliant!!! Nowhere in Sneck could you get a meal for anything like these prices... Have you seen that CaleyD? Take it you've never been to the Caley Club Johnboy I will say. however, there's a lot on offer so make the most of it guys.
  12. Stop and think guys and girls.......................we've already signed 3 who didn't get a chance with the team they were at and from what I've seen they'll do very well.
  13. They think we're ten mile south of Reykjakic
  14. This game will be played at a much faster pace than the cup game and the opposition will go in a lot harder. Cant see Morais being able to go a full game. He needs to do a lot on his fitness over the next few weeks.
  15. Are the Hibs pair on loan or not? I'm becoming very confused by different press reports. i.eFROM TEAMTALK This thread has not been started to guage opinion on player quality or such. Just to find an answer to my question.
  16. To get back on topic................Is it not likely that some of this 'substantial investment' has been used up on signing on fee's?
  17. Dont fret - I only sit next to intelligent peeple. you got a bus to yourself then? :018: I know the organizers dont mind making detours, within reason, but I think they may draw the line at going via Chorley.

  19. Its not seen as a festival. Its more a means of trying to re-attract tourists to the country. Especially those from the America's who, since Lockerby, have not come over in such droves as before. Its also about persuading migrant Scots to return to their homeland for a visit. The Scottish Cup had no sponsor for this season so the Scottish Parliament put up the funds in exchange for advertising the Homecoming.
  20. I disagree with the 'we won, they lost' mentallity. Its not about winning or losing, except on the field of play. Its about honesty and integrity. Sharing and learning. Its about unity. Unity from the Board, the management, the players, the fans, the tealady, the groundsman. Without a united front there will be no success. Each and every one of us has a vital role to play in the future of this club. I hope now that the powers that be see, and understand, this and act accordingly in the future.
  21. kath been on phone iam booked on the bus stops at police station in aviemore,7 being picked up from there so far On what charges ? Impersonating a Highland Seer
  22. Alex - the positive thinking classes seem to be working Always positive me. Excellent - I'll buy you a pint at Hampden in May then.... ;) I'll be there!! :018: :thumb04:
  23. I dont see anything sinister in dropping Esson yesterday. We have always rested the first choice keeper for cup games. When Ike was the first choice Esson played in CIS cup matches. Now I think Esson is first choice and Ike will get the cup games.

  25. Could have been worse I suppose.
