What are the rules on taking players on loan. Someone recently suggested we could only have one senior player on loan but it seem according to THIS ARTICLE that Butcher is targeting two and I thought Pavels was on loan.

I have met him, as a couple of posters will testify, and I found him to be a very nice guy. Plied us with ICT gifts. Went off him when he wouldn't let us travel on the team bus though.

After the last time Celtic were here there was a big outcry about sectarian chants from the home fans. Please, everyone, be warned that the police and stewards are going to be even more vigilant this time and I would expect the roving cameraman to be close by. I would also expect them to do more than just evict somebody. So. unless you'd like a criminal record then steer clear of anything that can be deemed racist, sectarian or in any way offensive. Fail to heed the warning and one day you may find yourself trying to convince a prospective employer that your criminal record does not mean you are intolerant of others.

I see it as a very strong position for us. More chance of our players being noticed. More chance that some of our players, who show some talent, being even more motivated to do well. Contacts. People wanting to play for us to get noticed. The list is endless. And if Butchers away he has a very capable No.2 that can stand in.

How can anyone do other than sit on the fence. The pairing are a totally unknown quantity as far as ICT are concerned. I know what they done at Motherwell but can they do the same here? Only time will tell.

Alex have you seen the average size of the users on this site, it looks extremely lightwieght to me :thumb04: No Steve thats all changed now. The average size has come down drastically since Mr Kidger's diet.

I picked up on that and it did get me thinking. Wyness, Bayne, Dargo and Dods are probably the most obvious candidates to come back. I think we could be seeing the end of Black in an ICT shirt though. Butcher was scathing about him having signed a PCA while on setanta a few weeks ago. Certainly wont be Dods......he's just signed a new three year deal at DU

As far as I can see on the other thread nobody has picked up on what he said. When asked about bringing anyone in before the window he said something along the lines of 'We have one or two on our minds, one or two to speak to and one or two who may come back' Bayne, Wyness ????

I also say no and yes. It is far from a two horse race. This league can throw up all sorts of strange results. We're three wins of 8th. We could go out on sunday and get a win. Been done before. Any of the teams above us could go on a losing streak. As the saying goes It aint over till the fat lady sings.
