Celtic....well I can be as cynical as the rest but Rangers didn't object so I assume they see nothing sinister. For the rest I see no reason to call off.

BBC says the other 4 are on. I understand where his family and Motherwell FC are coming from, but its a shame, the Celtic game would have been the perfect tribute to him. I think it is right to postpone v Celtic. Its just too soon for the Motherwell players to get back to playing ways. I wouldn't even imagine they'll be on the training ground this week.

The fans would certainly like him to stay at EC for the rest of the season. They also want Ally Ridgers but, apparently, because he's now over 21 his loan spell can't be extended and they would need to make an offer for him. Never heard of that situation before so perhaps someone in the know can explain.

I'm sure every fan will support the following post that I have put on Firparkcorner.com. On behalf of all the fans of Inverness Caledonian Thistle may I express our deepest and sincerest condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of Phill O'Donnell. Also to Motherwell FC and their fans. Phill was a true professional and ambassador to the sport and he will be sorely missed in the game.

Hopefully Wednesday will turn out to be a cracker and a favourable result.
