Rangers at it?
Rangers have not complained as yet. Beasley has though. The UEFA reps also complained and are now awaiting the official report from the match before deciding on action.

North of Scotland Cup
Cheers for clearing that up. By the way, Fort have strung a team together, and have been favourites for bottom spot, since they came into the HL some fifteen years ago.

North of Scotland Cup
Dont know the full team but it was mainly youth's. Caley scorers were Penwright and Inglis. In goal was Watt and other players mentioned in the MFR report were Vigurs, Alex MacDonald and Morrison. To all intents Fort, after coming back from 2-0 down, had the better chances to finish of the game but just couldn't find the net. I assume the replay will also be at Fort as this game shoud have been at Tulloch's but we gave up home advantage to allow drainage work on the pitch.

Hibs at it again!!
The fact is that Hibs had the foresight, in the late eighties, early nineties, to see that teams could not continue to sustain the infux of foriegn players and so set up one of the countries best youth policies. They are now the envy of every other team because talented players are now appearing with conveyor belt regularity. Their new training facilities will enhance that no end and for years to come Hibs will reap the benifits of their player factory.

Rangers Match Reactions - [merged]
Wilson, Wyness, Rankin. Though in fairness what CC said was that these were the players he expected to control the game. Quote courtesy of Inverness Courier: Christie conceded that the likes of Barry Wilson, John Rankin and Dennis Wyness did not have their "best games" against Rangers, but did not rule out giving individuals who disappointed the chance to redeem themselves, admitting he would spend this week mulling over any changes before making a final decision on who will play at Fir Park. "I am thinking about making changes in particular areas, but I'll have to wait and see what options I have as we have two or three players carrying knocks," he said. "Obviously, I'll need to see how training goes this week and I'm certainly not going to jump the gun in terms of making any decisions now. "When you are playing a team like Rangers you need someone to take the game by the scruff of the neck, but the players I expected that from on Saturday, the likes of Barry Wilson, John Rankin and Dennis Wyness, did not have their best games. "In saying that, however, you also have to give players a chance to redeem themselves because everyone can have a bad day and what everyone must remember is we were playing a much improved Rangers team. "What was also apparent from Saturday was how much we missed Graham Bayne as he has been a real thorn in Rangers side ever since we came into the SPL. "Graham will chase lost causes all day for you, but both Rory McAllister and Dennis Wyness are not comfortable with doing that.

MARIUS NICULAE - WORK PERMIT REJECTED
Sebo doesn't need a permit as Slovakia, who joined the EU in 2004 along with Poland etc, is exempt from the latest UK immigration rules

The Marius petition
I'd have thought the three stripes would be a dead giveaway TCF

The Antelope v The Rhino
The SPL has a fair few defenders who use similar tactics. A certain Mr Robson is not so squeeky clean.

Which Midfielder should we let go [merged]
My interpretation of CC's comments are that one, or maybe two, player(s) are not too happy with their first team involvement and may have requested permission to look elsewhere. CC does not want to let anyone go because he needs cover for the additional reserve games that will be played but if a player is unhappy, and can find a first team position elsewhere, he will be released from his contract. CC said in the press that he likened the situation to that of Fox. Liam wanted consistant first team selection but it wasn't happening so he asked for a move.

sectarian singing from the away fans
First point. Rangers FC will have to answer to the SFA after the refs report and police report are submitted. CCTV images will likely be forwarded to Rangers with the expectation that they take action against the perpretators. Rangers sold all tickets for the south stand so they know who they sold them to and video footage will show them the seats the perpretators were in. If no action is taken by Rangers then I expect sanctions be placed on the club. Secondly, as someone who is totally nuetral to the history of the OF, I do not want, nor expect, to have to listen to songs that have nothing to do with football but in fact glorify the killing of human beings on the grounds of the religion they were born into. And I especially object to those songs being sung at the ground of a club that has absolutely no history of religious bias.

Rangers Match Reactions - [merged]
My view from section B. Firstly I was glad to see a dozen or so Rangers fans in section A, who were joining in with the sectarian smut emanating from the south stand, being evicted within the first fifteen minutes. The game was dire No one player stood out, at least not until Hart came on, and, as a team, they showed no interest in playing football. High balls into a pretty strong wind just doesn't work. We didn't have a forward that could bring the ball down and hold it up. Bayne may have helped out there but sadly he wasn't available. Both our centre backs seemed very nervous and unable to control the game from the back. Considering Smith played with one striker I thought our defence should have been able to do a lot better. Thank god for Ikey. McAllister......he had a couple of slim chances but lost the ball too easily, though the same could be said for Dennis. The lad needs to do some serious sprint training. He was way too slow in the chase with Hutton. My admiration goes to Blackie. He got kicked and elbowed and generally bullied but held his temper and tried to make a game of it. Had this team gone on to the pitch with the same desire as they had last season against Rangers we would have won it easily. If this is what Smith is going to put onto the park every game then Celtic need not worry.
