  1. We were absolutely brilliant for 87 minutes today. They equalised and heads went down. Celtic have been doing the same thing all season. They control the midfield, dont try for the kill, and just grind the opposition down till they cant play any more. Then they strike. Barry and Ian both had to come of simply because they were burnt out and cramping up. What really winds me up about the whole game is that Mr MacDonald has shown his true colours now. Perhaps Romanov is right in his assertions. The only time we were awarded a free kick was in areas where we were unlikely to benifit. Hartley was awarded half a dozen where he was clearly the one in the wrong. Now its time to pick up and go for that sixth place. Its only six points and we have the better chances.
  2. Where would you play him?
  3. Relatives in law living there IHE
  4. 73 now Harry. Have you directed supporters of the other clubs to the petition?
  5. Sorry kingkojak, we've decided to go to Elgin saturday and stay over.
  6. Wonder how Bayne and Sutherland would pair up.
  7. I'd go for a 16 top league, 3 x 12 lower leagues and, as feeders, a Highland league, an East central and a West central Bottom two in top league play off with top two in next and so on to bottom league where bottom 3 play off with winners of each of feeder leagues. Relegated teams from bottom league slot into feeder leagues depending on geographical location. Where would the additional teams come from? There are plenty junior and amatuer teams in the country who could hold their own in the lower divisions of the scottish leagues. As things are at the moment all lower scottish league teams can enter 3 cup competitions. Scottish Cup, Challenge cup and CIS cup. Premier teams can enter Scottish and CIS so why not, as well as the league competition introduce a Premier league cup k.o competition. This would provide some additional games to offset the reduction to 30
  8. People can find fault with the twins of evil. People can even have good things to say about them. Personally I take it all with a pinch of salt. No matter who the Scottish team are thats doing well in europe I give not a toss. I will. however, root for them for the simple fact that if they get consistant good results then more places will open up for other Scottish teams. And that can only be good for the game in this small nation of ours. So whether you are a bigot or a victim of bigotry, or even if you support a team because of the football, please try and put it all aside and support the future of the game. Anf finally, WELL DONE TO BOTH TWINS THIS WEEK
  9. , Harry, if you can be in Perth for around 9 am then yes
  10. I, and Aileen will be driving up to Sneck on Sunday morning. There are three spare seats if anyone close by would like a lift up and back.
  11. I will always root for any Scottish team in europe because their success is good for Scottish football.

  18. You can go take a hike as well :001: See you sunday Johndo?
  19. Last time I was there there was a couple of Steelers sitting where the two stewards are and our owm maimie was chatting them up.
  20. Agree with that Johnboy but its hard without the funds. Kencar, the teams you mention have average home gates of around 10 thousand.
  21. IMO Celtic are not the brilliant team a lot of people think they are. That was shown up tonight by what was a pretty mediocre ACM. The only reason Celtic are so far ahead is because they are a little better than all the others in this league. They dont go out and hammer teams. They scrape wins. WE CAN BEAT THEM
  22. clacher, go take a hike and grow up. If I thought CC and DP weren't doing the best they can with what they've got I'd be the first to scream. The facts are we are the worst supported team in this league. We have the lowest level of sponsorship. We pay the worst wages to players. We're operating in the top league with a first division budget and we are surviving. So far!!!! Without a budget equivalent to an average gate of around 7000 we will not stay up. That is fact.
  23. What annoys me is that last season we were almost unbeatable on the road but couldnt do nothing at home. This season is the opposite. CC and DP seem to have solved the home form problem to the detriment of our away form. As for Rory v MacSwegan I cant comment. The most I've ever seen MacSwegan is about five minutes. I do however believe that Rory will come good but he needs the rest of the team to be on form as well.
  24. Jaggies rule ok :001:
