We're really unlucky that two of our best strikers are out. Our midfield isnt doing too good lately either but we haven't the cover there either. Hopefully Hart will be match fit before too long. My understanding is that McSwegan isn't fit enough for a start either. Barry and Richie Hastings appear to have burnt out a bit as well. Its easy to say get Black in but he's only one man and its a team we need. Even our defence aren't firing on all cylinders. Maybe we should throw caution to the winds and start with Sutherland and Soane. Looking at what choices there are at present makes grim viewing. Goalkeepers: Ike, Ally Defence: Rossco, Dods, Grant, Hastings, Caff Midfield: Barry, Roy, Blackie, Morgan, Rankin Russell, Markus, Soane Strikers: Rory, Graham, Zander, McSwegan I agree totally with Harry C. There are no strikers available at the price we can afford.

Absolutely well done to Ian and the rest of the U-19 national squad on their achievement at La Manga. Results were: Scotland 3 Austria 1 Scotland 0 Slovakia 0 Scotland 2 Norway 1 Ian played for full 90 mins in last two games. Looking forward to seeing what he can do in an ICT first team shirt.

Would be good if people would get of Rory's back and get behind the lad. He's only young and deserves his chance. Takes more than a couple of games to gell in a team and I believe he will come good before long. As someone pointed out its the midfield thats been letting us down lately. If they can get it together and provide the balls I reckon Rory and Graham will provide the goals. Have faith my friends. And enjoy the game tomorrow. There are players in eastern europe who would easily make the grade over here and be more than happy playing for the wages we offer. So why not try to find a star and make a mint out of him.
