vs Falkirk
Plenty of chants and even the odd song (odd being the operative word) but in dire need of someone of your vast experience to lead. So if your up to it me dear its the Innes bar pre-match for the proverbial lubrication of the larynx.

It's all Christie's fault...
Anyone and everyone, as paying customers, has a right to blame, critisise or whatever. I wasnt at the game so dont have that right, nor the knowledge of what went on today but I will remind everyone of just one thing. No matter who the head coach, be it Christie or anyone else, without players we wont progress. Our key players are out through injury or suspension, our replacements are either too inexperienced or just dont make the grade at this level. I just hope the shirkers are weeded out at the end of the season and a few new players of the right standard are brought in. As for Dunfermline, they brought in a few players at the window who are now playing some good football and playing as a team. I've seen them perform, albeit on tv, lately and they have been unlucky in some games recently. It was only going to be a matter of time before they achieved some success. Sadly it came against us.

Black Suspension
What a load of codswallop. ....not take a telling......cc or dp not hard enough. I think you'll find that Ian, as a terrier type midfielder with a reputation for chasing everything, is mostly unlucky in that his timing can be a bit off. When he gets a ref who hounds him he gets a bit angry. When someone tries to wind him up on the field, as is often the case, he gets angry. He is a young lad, learning his trade, and he makes errors of judgement. What he does NOT need is to 'take a telling' or for anyone to be hard on him. He needs, and is getting, good coaching and good support, from the people around him and from the majority of fans. Maybe a little phsycology would help, I dont know. The one thing I would not expect is for Ian to change overnight. As for those who think we should get rid of him rather than coach him. Get a life.

Average Home Attendances
As every season tkt holder will confirm, as you pass through the turnstile a numbered voucher is torn out and handed over, this plus pay at the gate numbers are added for the turnstile total. The confusion as has always been is corporate/business/freebies/hospitality numbers, but i dont think there will be a huge difference in actual and quoted crowds, except of course in cup games. Also, every gate has a counter attached to make the totting up that little bit easier

No more drawn games?
The reason the three for a win was brought in CD was to encourage teams to win and entertain. Obviously, after all those years, it hasn't worked.

Average Home Attendances
At the end of the day we cant really complain about the numbers that DU, St Mirren, Gretna or whoever take to TCS. Crucial game at Killie last week and we took about 100.

Well Done Rory
Good luck Rory. UNDER 20 SQUAD HEADS FOR CANADA Tuesday, 13 Mar 2007 Scotland Under 20s will gain first hand experience of their FIFA U20 World Cup base next week, as they head to Canada to play two internationals against the hosts. The Under 20s will be playing in Victoria and Burnaby, on Canada's west coast, in the World Cup this summer. As part of their preparation for the big event, they meet Canada in Burnaby on Saturday 24 March, and again in Victoria three days later. Most of the players from last season's outstanding UEFA campaign are still going strong in the squad, but team coaches Archie Gemmill and Tommy Wilson have brought in promising defenders Kevin McCann of Hibs and Ryan O'Leary of Kilmarnock to provide additional strength to a talented group. The team fly out next Wednesday from Glasgow to Vancouver, giving them three days to acclimatise before their first match, at Swangard Stadium in Burnaby. They then head for Vancouver Island for the second match at Royal Athletic Park in Victoria on Tuesday, and return to Scotland on Wednesday. Scotland Under 20 squad Goalkeepers Scott Fox (Celtic) Andrew McNeil (Hibernian) Defenders Andrew Cave-Brown (Norwich City) Andrew Considine (Aberdeen) Garry Kenneth (Dundee United) Kevin McCann (Hibernian) Ryan O’Leary (Kilmarnock) Mark Reynolds (Motherwell) Greg Ross (Dunfermline Athletic) Lee Wallace (Heart of Midlothian) Midfield Jamie Adams (Kilmarnock) Greg Cameron (Dundee United) Ryan Conroy (Celtic) Bryan Hodge (Blackburn Rovers) Michael McGlinchey (Celtic) Darren Smith (Motherwell) Forwards Graham Dorrans (Livingston) Calum Elliot (Heart of Midlothian) Steven Fletcher (Hibernian) Rory McAllister (Inverness CT)

Post Split Matches
While its still mathematically possible for us to make top six the SPL will not issue fixtures. May seem a long shot but its not impossible for Killie to lose their last three games which are against Aberdeen, Motherwell and Hearts. We know we can beat Dunfermline, Rangers and Falkirk. Ever the optimist me. My guess would be that we have three home and two away this season and that HM5 will start in Paisley and finish at TCS for the game against Falkirk

Hooking of Blackie
One point. Had Black walked, under the totting up procedure, he be facing a minimum three match ban now.
-
Hooking of Blackie
Have to agree with Harry here. A couple more minutes and Blackie would have walked. The Killie fans were goading him and he would have reacted. Simple as.
-
No top six
Sadly the top six dream has to be put on hold for another season. Knowing that we are safe from relegation perhaps it would be a good time now for CC and DP to play around a bit with the squad and work on building the foundations of next seasons team.

Lack of appreciation
Dont know what went on cos I was in Bridge end on sat but it was suggested to me later on that day that some abusive comments may have been made from around the tunnel area. Hearsay mind.

What Kind Of Fan Are You?
I'm the kind who, when I'm able, goes to games home and away and gives all the players as much support and encouragement as I can muster. Afterwards, when its all over, I reflect and analyse and think I come to sensible conclusions as to what was right or wrong. Then I look forward to doing it all again next time.

Rossco's Dinner
Great food, great wine beer and spirits, great company (apart from a certain rowdy female) and Bill McAllister and John Rowbotham put on an excellent show. CB even read us the script of his next book. All 385 pages and the preface. :012:

Mike Fraser
Has there been a reserve game since Ridgers signed.

PLAYER OF THE YEAR - Voting
Yes and while your at it tell Gary McSwegan he cant vote for himself if he only played 14 minutes. Looking at the total number of voters and some of the choices after the cup game I wonder if folk are taking this seriously enough to continue with the exercise.

St Johnstone
Hibs v St Johnston final then.

This New Away Top
I'm not a ST holder but I get the e-mail every week. I thought the option was there when I registered for the site.

Rossco's Dinner
Knowing that I'll be dining with the wonderful FW, perhaps I'll just stay up after all. :004:

Grantie will play his 200th game for ICT against United on Saturday
As requested by TMFTJ. Go out and show us, Granty, why you'll be club captain in the not too distant future.

Who's to blame..
I did see him signal to the dugout but thought he was gesturing on behalf of someone on the deck at the time.

St Johnstone
We turned it on ok, just switched off in last two minutes
