  1. At least Charles acknowledges that he borrowed the sig from a female fan Mrs PB.
  2. At the end of the day, regardless of what anyone wants to say about CC, we are unbeaten at home this season. A feat not accomplished under the previous regime so the man must be getting something right.
  3. Rig, I wasn't talking so much about running after the ball as running into spaces where he can get a chance at goal. He has to move around, dodge defenders and make openings for himself.
  4. am i missing something or was i asleep during that history lesson? :017: Hey KK, are you a sun reporter by any chance. If your going to quote my comments please use the whole sentence which was: I'd go even further and say that the English anthem should not be sung by a team claiming to be Scottish. At least theres no verse in the Irish anthem that refers to crushing rebellious Scots, nor indeed any other nation
  5. I dont, for one minute, doubt your support. My comment was not directed at any one individual but at fans in general who find the need to nitpick when its not justified.
  6. Hart isn't going anywhere......I forbid it......I've paid out good money for his jersey so he has to stay. Jokes aside I would like to see him start in the central midfield spot. I believe he could work wonders there..
  7. We are not an established SPL team yet. We dont have a team of SPL players. We have a team of players in the SPL and a bloody good job they are doing too. I doubt very much if Livi or Partick or even Dundee would say that they were ever established in this league, even when they spent big to try and achieve such. Charlie Christie is doing a very good job, considering his lack of experience, and should be allowed to continue doing it in his own way without being slated by, so-called, fans who's expectations are way above what we are, or should be, achieving. CC's after match comments a what he believes at the time. He is realistic and knows how well his team are doing, whatever the result. To those with the stupid, negative, comments about CC or the team......get into the real world and show support for a change.
  8. I thought the boys done really well yesterday, as did Gordon. Says a lot when our right sided defender gets caught offside :003: and puts pressure on Gordon. The game was there for the taking and we should have won it but, alas, we didnt. Now for the controversy..... Wyness... In my opinion, he's not good enough. Yes he can show a bit of trickery when the ball is put at his feet but he doesn't work. When he loses the ball he stops dead, doesnt move around searching out space. Three or four times when he should have chased down Gordon and put pressure on him to make a mistake he just stopped and stood. He's one of the laziest strikers in the modern game. And to me thats not good enough. Bayne works very hard. Wyness doesn't.

  10. Where do you draw the line? Personally I see no need to draw any line. People are in the public eye because the gutter press of today puts them there. I would like to see all people treated equally. Whats the difference between a footballer, oilrig worker, nurse, butcher, baker, carer or whatever. Everyone of us has a job to do to make a living and should be seen just for that. The British influenced countries around the world are the only ones where the press decides who to build up and knock back down again. The king of Spain can walk around the streets of Palma and nobody gives a **** but we see a two bit footballer out on the town and need to see some big press story about him next day. And if he doesn't provide the material for the story we'll just make something up anyway.
  11. Its the kitlady's turn in the dugout this week.

They are indeed ICaT and Invernessi. I think :007:
  13. Not this time mate. Driving up and staying over in yon famous battleground. (Heathmount)
  14. Personally, I think enough has been written on the subject. What really gets on my tit in all this is that some prat, who witnessed what went on, felt the need to contact the Sun. And, secondly, that the Sun would print a story, and gloss it up the way they did, based solely on heresay. Someone out there should hang their head in shame and stay away from the establishment concerned. People have arguements, and sometimes even fights, in pubs all the time but they dont make the papers unless the law becomes involved. It should be no different for Ross Tokely.
  15. clacher, do you not think maybe its because he got suspended. Would your boss be happy if you couldn't do your job for self inflicted reasons.
  16. PiG, its the season of goodwill to all mankind. So chin up, be positive and watch us hump the tarts on saturday. They're fekked without Elvis and from what I heard on radio earlier they could also be without the Hare.
  17. Two more games this month and six in december and all should be wins. Would make a fantastic start to the New year and make the Jan 1st game well worth attending.
  18. Think theres one from the Heathmount and one from Gellions.
  19. We seem to be rather obsessed with subs. If the proper team is picked there should be no need to substitute unless the game plan hasn't worked or injury forces it. Yogi Hughesw made his first substitution in the eighth or ninth game of the season. Didnt do his team any harm.
  20. Theres aye someone thinks he or she knows better than everyone else. Charlie Christie knows who he's picking and why. We as watchers of the game see the players on the field for 90 mins a week and we profess to know them inside out. We dont see them in training, we are not privvy to what goes on behind closed doors so we dont have all the facts to make judgement. Get behind the manager, trust his judgements and leave him to get on with his job. When he fails and we are facing relegation then spout of but until then give him a chance.
  21. Way back in seventy dot I had a t-shirt that stated "I choked Linda Lovelace".
  22. Bayne is second top scorer with 4 in 13 starts this season. One less than Dargo whos started 15 times and 3 more than Dennis whos had 6 starts so how can you say he doesnt score much. Personally I'd wager that he be our top scorer by the seasons end.
  23. Thats two trophies for the caravan
  24. Agree about Mcbain but dont know why all the demands for Wyness. I seen him start twice this season and both times he was dire. he just seemed to refuse to move around the park. Wouldn't get into space and expected the ball to be put at his feet. As I say i only seen him in two starts so perhaps he has improved. But I think it would be very wrong to drop Bayne. He's a workhorse and second top scorer this season.
  25. I know there a sh!te team Gringo, and I know I was brought up there but thats no reason to short change the poor guys. This is their second win. 6/10/06 Forres Mechanics 1 - 2 Fort William
