  1. The twins of evil struck a deal whereby JJB Sports have exclusive selling rights to all the merchandise. Rangers have since closed all there shops around the country puting hundreds of staff on the dole. So remember people, if you shop at JJB you are helping the Glasgow duo.
  2. Peter Paul at his best once again
  3. I'd like to say a big thanks to everyone involved in organising this event. Just a shame there wasnt a few more people in attendance to make it a really good night. Admittedly we never stayed to the end but that was because the grandson was burnt out after his hectic day at the stadium. And thanks to Tess for the lift back into town.
  4. Firstly, Darg's (contrary to stupid speculation) picked up an slight injury in training so CC took no chances on him aggravating it. I would have made Morgan MoM but was disappointed to see him spit the dummy when he was pulled. He had a great game as did Barry, considering what he put in the previous night...played in testimonial and with the ledgends at half time... :003: Proctor did quite well, made a few decent moves and won the ball on a few occassions. Unfortunately, at times, he doesn't lift his head to see who's where. Twice I seen Fox in space and shouting for the ball but Proc ended up boxed in and unable to make any pass. Caff looked like he's getting back to his old self. Thought he had a very good game. Fraser just needs to build confidence. He didnt have much to do but pulled of a cracking save. Campbell I thought showed a great deal of promise and I'm certain DP will make somethign of him. Just a pity he doesn't have the size to go with his speed and skill. All in all it was a decent performance by everyone. Just a pity the same couldn't be said for the opposition and their foul-mouthed manager.
  5. I dont think anyone should read anything into this game. It was a testimonial. It was all about a fun night for Ross and was certainly not a night for experimenting with players. CC fielded a good enough team in the first half and they did create one or two chances. After half an hour Sheffield upped a gear or two and showed that the top of the Championship is a totally different class to SPL. Even the top SPL teams would struggle to match them. The second half was about giving the guests a game and they all done ok at keeping the scoreline respectable. The only disappointment for me was the turnout for a guy who has showed the fans of ICT such loyalty and commitment over the last ten years.
  6. Falkirk probably had a bigger budget than us when they were in Div 1. They have a much bigger fanbase (circa 6000) They are well established and so have a lot of sponsorship. We will be in a position to match them one day but we need a **** sight more fans on a regular basis than we've got at the moment.
  7. From what I've read here I wouldn't take too much out of this game considering the team was made up of players who were crocked for most of last season, young lads and triallists. The number of misses in the last couple of games is a bit disconcerting but at least we're creating plenty chances. the real tester will be saturday because Ross C will be up for it.
  8. Harry, slightly of topic. One of Caldwells mates works with me and he has told me a song they sing to Garry when there out on the town. It goes: Garry Caldwell f**ks dead dogs f**ks dead dogs f**ks dead dogs Gary Caldwell f**ks dead dogs He loves dog sp*nk Apparantley the guy is also a closet hun so some good chants could come out of this.
  9. air istance to drive to Elgin after six pints and a thrashing at pool in the Innes RiG :015:
  10. Cant be bothered waiting for RiG to start it so, who's going. Me and missus will be at both with grandson Kyle. Will likely be in social club pre match friday cos Kyle wont get into Innes. Saturday he is a mascot (posh seats for us) so need to be at stadium before two. Will likely pop into Innes for one before then.
  11. Bucket, I dont get to many home games so I dont buy a season ticket. To alleviate the guilt I sponsor a player. Cost works out a little more than the season ticket but I do get a top at the end of season. This sponsorship is, in effect, paying for the players kit for the season thus releasing money for other things.
  12. Perhaps our goal scoring wizard will come from the pool of midfielders this season. It does look like CC is building a more attacking midfield.
  13. Brown Caff Dods Munro Rossco or Hart Wilson Black Rankin Hastings McAllister Dargo
  14. Get of the negatives people and look to the positives.
  15. Gives them all an advantage. They can run through the legs of big defenders.
  16. Marty, Barry's a striker though he's been playing a midfield role the last two seasons. Also isn't Zander also a front man. natn, we need all those extra midfielders to cover for CC's new attacking 3-5-2 formation. :003:
  17. Marty, we already have six or seven strikers. What we need is players who can attack and defend from the midfield and who can hold up the ball and feed it to the strikers. As for squad size, yes its bigger that CC envisaged but I can see one or two of the younger lads going out on loan for a spell to gain some experience. Possibly Highland league.
  18. If the link works Dinnae bring an Arab hame tae me Arab being a DUFC supporter.
  19. I'd be interested to know where this information came from.
  20. To the tune Daisy, Daisy............and if you dont know it ask your mummy. Rossco, Rossco Show us what you can do Rossco, Rossco Score us a goal or two You may not be a stylish player But you're ICT's messiah When the balls at your feet We're sure of a treat Oh Rossco we all love you. :notworthy01: :notworthy01: :notworthy01: :notworthy01:
  21. The licencing laws in Scotland allow children into bars that have either a family licence, i.e they have an area seperate from the main bar and they have toilet facilities etc suitable for children, or a food licence where the children can come in for a meal with adults. As far as the Innes is concerned the licence allows the serving of food monday to friday. Colin doesn't want a food licence at weekends because the bar is usually too busy with football fans. Technically children are not allowed in on a saturday but Colin and Scooby turn a blind eye, pre-match, for most of the games. For the bigger games, i.e Aberdeen, Rangers and Celtic the police stipulate what is required as part of their crowd control plans. They demand doorpersons, no mixed fans and no colours to be displayed in the bars. Colin doesn't allow children on these days because the police could pay a visit to ensure he's abiding by their rules. Hope that makes the situation clear for all.
  22. Load of crap. Just need to look at Johndo MacKenzie for evidence. Insane is too tame a word to describe him. :003: :003:
  23. I need a couple of tickets please. Will pay friday night if one of those lovely committee persons is at Rossco game. Incidently, unless its been changed, I know the venue but I'm not telling.
  24. I think its because of Brown that our defensive record is as it is. Over the latter part of last season he has become more vocal in controlling his defense and he has pulled of some cracking saves. At the very least Mark should be Scotland No 2 if they insist on Gordon for No 1.
  25. Sorry people, cant make the 29th. A weekend of alcohol, song, dance and craic beckons on the banks of Loch Lomond. (Lomond Folk Festival) Will see some of you the weekend before though.
