Born on this day fifty years ago with a face only a mother could love. Brought up in Muirhouses Edinburgh Played for one or two Edinburgh schools before signing for Dundee Left Dundee for Aberdeen where he won european honours. Signed a pre-contract with Cologne but then chose to join Man U Left Man U for Leeds and then ended his playing days with Coventry at the age of forty. Today he will enjoy his fiftieth birthday celebrations but will come to a rude awakening on 25th when his team are destroyed by the mighty ICT Who is he???

He was on Setanta last week and did say he has family in the Inverness area who are ICT fans so when he's been up he has made purchases from the shop and had them signed to give as gifts. Actually buying from the club makes him as much of a supporter as a few on this site

Have it on good authority from a Cellic insider that Boruc is offski in the summer and MB will be No.1. Marshall is not seen as featuring after his loan spell. He is not viewed as being consistant enough to be No.1

The main reason for entering is that it gives us two or three games of very competitive pre-season training outside of our own league fixture list. It also gives our guys proper experience of playing outside Scotland. Last seasons training camp to Tuscany was marred by not being able to secure competitive games because of the closed season. However, I think it will be Aberdire who go this time, unless we can leapfrog them in the league. Yes a SC win would give us entry to Uefa but that would be kind of getting thrown in at the deep end.
