  1. It nice to see our soft southern supporters concerned about a sprinkling of snow. Be brave "The Highland Juggernaut" is coming. Snow, Hearts, brick walls, nothing will stop us. No not concerned about snow. As a good hearted highlander though I have concerns for the safety and wellbeing of my fellow highlanders.
  2. This is his first senior call up. Thoroughly deserved though and a good chance of getting a game looking at the other strikers listed here http://www.irishfa.com/news/item/7921/ni-squad-named-for-malta-friendly/
  3. That would have been an all right stadium had it been built.
  4. I doubt the pitch will be a problem. A9 is bad at Drumochter just now but still open. Snowing heavy in and around Perth but trunk roads are drivable. Very little from the camera's between Inverness and Kingussie.
  5. Don Cowie's been doing ok.
  6. Confirmed here http://www.leedsunited.com/news/20130125/charlie-takes-the-high-road_2247585_3052741
  7. I can't to be honest. Mackay is scoring for fun at the moment. He could be the difference between staying in the position we are in and the prize money for that position plus the money for getting a European spot.
  8. Re-assessed my previous position and assessed now that he's worth no less than £75 m
  9. I just find it so hard to believe the mentality of the people making complaint. Why would anyone care if someone else chooses to leave early? Its nobody's business other than the person who's leaving.
  10. I will add to the above my own circumstances. I work abroad. I'm away for four weeks at a time. Thats four saturdays. I have two season tickets. I've been to three home games so far and might get to another three before the end of the season. People have other priorities in life and can't always be there every week to support their team. They do it in many other ways than attendance though.
  11. Block 20 Row Q Seats 122 and 123
  12. I know many of those extra's you talk of and I know that many of them do make an effort to get to an away game. Because of costs, family and work commitments they usually have to decide which game to travel to. As it is this week sees them all get together at the same away venue. Look around you on saturday. Many faces will be recognised as having been at an away game somewhere.
  13. Looking at the possibility of finishing the league second and winning two cups I'd have to decide if that could still be achieved without Billy. If it couldn't then he's worth around £2 million.
  14. Sorry Laurence but, until he can prove himself in Championship or Premiership, I must disagree with you on that comment. He's won one Scottish cup and one league title. Would he have won the league last year if Rangers had not been docked fifteen points?
  15. According to the hearts website, Regents road is exclusively for Hearts so would think that Leith Links is for ICT. Would suggest you maybe phone he club on Friday to get exact information tho. Will your buses all be going back home via Erskine bridge?
  16. We one 3-1 that day with goals from Tokely, Wyness and Bagan. I predict the same score this time with goals from Shinnie, McKay and Foran.
  17. I think you'll find that there isn't a deal of difference in wages between what Aberdeen would pay and what Bournemouth would pay. Article here http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2055140/Premier-League-wages-FIVE-times-Championship.html has the average wage for league 1 as being £1400 a week. Granted that was a couple of seasons ago but I wouldn't think there's been much increase since then.
  18. Are we really so stuck for talking points that we have become obsessed with who's is the biggest what and size of support? Saturday is a big day for our football club and its players. It is a step towards silver and probably a nice bonus payment. More so it is a match to keep the good run going as we sweep through the remaining eleven fixtures to the split. It is keeping the momentum going. Play both halves on saturday like we did the second half v Dons and win then it will probably be seen as the biggest game ever. At least till the next biggest game ever.
  19. I see Aaron Doran wants to extend his stay at ICT. http://thesun.mobi/thescottishsun/sport/spl/4758220/If-Killie-can-lift-a-cup-so-can-we.html?mob=1
  20. With an average gate of under 9,000 and sitting 11th in league 1 I cant see where the step up is from Aberdeen.
  21. Best route on foot from Waverley. Come out of station onto Princes St. Turn right and follow A1 Regent street for about half mile where you'll reach the Regent Bar on the right side of the road. After re-fuelling cross the road and proceed down Easter Road. 300 yards along here stop for a snack at the Manna House then a few pubs down you'll come to Albion Road on the right. Take this road to the stadium. If you've time dont take this road but instead keep on going for a couple of hundred yards and you'll come to the Four in Hand pub. Distance by this route is 1.3 miles.
  22. 20 mins brisk walk.
