  1. The CURSE!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. Brill's contract at Luton ends July 2014 so I expect the loan deal to end in january and he becomes a permanent fixture at TCS.
  3. Sorry Alex your fired. I know for a fact that some people find excuses to avoid doing anything, I have lost count of the excuses heard for not going, why not start by telling people why you enjoy going to the games. I take on board all the points made but the very subject of falling crowds came up recently in the company of friends I used to go to Brockville with. A couple of those people stopped going when they had children for the reasons I mention. Guys that would chant the same and probably more vile slogans at games who have grown up a bit and are trying to take responsibility in the education of their kids. Yes you'll hear it in the playground. Why? In my day we'd get belted for it. Even today, though its become an acceptable form of speech, I censor myself in the company of women and children. Thats not to say I wont hurl a few choice expletives at a match. The guys I mention are not making excuses. These are staunch Falkirk fans that are very likely to return to the games when their kids are of age to do their own thing. But for now they choose not to subject the children to football profanities. Personally I only have respect for their stance on this.
  4. I'm going to be bold and suggest Spartans, Auchinleck, Berwick R, Cove, Annan A, Montrose, The Rose, Shire, Edinburgh C, Formartine, Gala F, Elgin, Coulter, Queens Park, Stirling A, Wick. For each one I get wrong I'll pledge £5 to ICT Youth. So anyone else up for a bit of fun then. Money where your mouth is and all that.
  5. Aye but you may then get there and find yourself and your young impressionable family being subjected to songs and chants containing words that you dont want your young family to hear. or chants referring to sexual acts being performed by certain players. I say that because I know for a fact there are people who wont go to games because of what they hear from the stands.
  6. Sadly not but I hope all who do go get right behind the team for full ninety and stick it right up those who think the sheepsh**ers will be vying for second this season.
  7. Easy mistake.........swayed by Rig's predicament no doubt. Rig's, like my own, home games are ICT's away games.
  8. Deserves recognition but I'm not sure I'm happy about it. Historically when he's won it we've done poor next few games.
  9. Celtic may well have a game in hand but we have the upper hand and could well stay above them until they travel to the fortress on 29th Dec. All we got to do is match them and maintain the GD.
  10. No!! Its about the rights of those living in Scotland to choose their own future. Scotland is a multi-national country and every resident living here is entitled to a vote. SNP candidates, like other parties, are selected to stand for election. Some may well want to serve at Westminster but thats not to say they will be selected for such a position. Their use may well be seen by the party selectors as being more useful at Holyrood than Westminster depending on their ability and skills. In other words would they better serve as a frontbencher at Holyrood than a backbencher at Westminster.
  11. Vincent was called up to England 'C' squad in August 12. Does that make him inelligable for another nation?
  12. Over the next year we'll see truth and fiction. We'll experience debate and slur. One side will produce information and the other will counter with something that happened thirty years ago. we'll hear good reasons for independence. We'll hear good reason for the status quo. In among all that we'll hear from those who will spin and scare and those who will counter arguement just for the hell of it. The No people will dig up sleaze against the SNP regardless of the fact that the Yes people are supported by persons of all persuasions. The Charles Bannermans of the world will continue to tell the Yes people that they are anglophiles even though many of those Yes people are English born. It will all get interesting. It will all get boring. It may be calm. It may be heated. At the end of the day a decision will be made and some will be happy. Others wont. And whatever the outcome we will still be a country populated by peoples of many nationalities, colours and creeds. The English born living here wont go back south. The Scots born down there wont come back up north.

  17. Not all down to the team. We've some dodgy refs to contend with as well.
  18. Maybe its time they did cos G. Shinnie on a bad day would have been better than 'cannae pass Whittaker'.
  19. Charles, why are you trying to stir up something thats not there. We all know that the organisers of major events are out to make money. Are you aware that if people want to run the London marathon on behalf of a charity the charity has to pay £250 per place. The participant has to be able to raise a deal more than £250 in donations to make that viable. All the charities know the organisers are running a bona fide business and are out to make money for themselves. I dont have a clue what % of income for each event the organisers take but I cant imagine its a great amount considering the cost of running such an event. I think, if you really look into it Charles, you'll find that the cost of entry to this event is on a par with all the others that happen around Britian. That all the event organisers make a profit and that many charities benefit from the sponsorship of the participant and the generosity of those who sponsor. Our football club will also benefit from whatever amount is paid to CJT and all those who volunteer on behalf of CJT do so knowing that their generous giving of their time is for the good of our club.
  20. Aye and if Billy comes on tonight and scores the winner for NI then his value increases
  21. Hamill's red card has been overturned by SFA.
  22. Isn't that from Football Grounds Guide?
  23. We have two away games in each of those months. September Killie then Aberdeen. October St Johnstone then Ross County.
  24. I would hazard a guess at around £2k
  25. That may be so but it also brings us money
