I would imagine you'd get access to away carpark
  3. I think you underestimate junior football in central belt. You certainly underestimate Linlithgow who, up till the Junior Cup final had gone 49 games without defeat. Whether or not they could compete at any level of senior leagues we'll probably never know but they are a club that, given the opportunity, would adapt very well.
  4. Well done Charles. In all those words you've managed to do everything that the anti-YES brigade have been doing all along. You, like them, have managed to put together a few anti-Salmond words but fail to actually counter the arguements put forward for why we can prosper as an independant country. So many people are tied up in the anti-SNP boat that they fail to see the others who are backing the YES campaign. There are MSP's of other parties who will urge their membership to support YES. So while the BETTERTOGETHER people choose not to give us reason to stay together but instead concentrate on how they can decry the SNP other MSP's are promoting the YES campaing to good effect. Keep it up Charles, Laurence and BETTERTOGETHER, the more you fail to counter the arguements the more the rest of us will believe you cant.
  5. Lets not forget that had David Sutherland not come along with a plan that would rid us of our debt we could just as easily be on that list you quote.
  6. We may not be able to change it but I'm sure we'd be a damn sight better than the current lot at retrieving due taxes before the rest goes out of the country. Lets not also forget that the Iberdrola subsidiary (Scottish Power) employs a large number of its UK workforce within Scotland.
  7. Laurence, the violence mentioned above is not the sectarian type where rivals face each other. Its the cowardly acts of violence towards partners and children because their team got beat.
  8. Is this childish nit-picking absolutely necessary?
  9. Joey Barton scenarios are not always the case Laurence. We loan out players just as much as we take some on loan. Often its players who need a bit of game time but cant be fitted into their clubs current squad. They go for the experience and come back to try and fight for a place. Loan players are not always free either. Often the club borrowing will pay towards the players wages.
  10. Yeah, Wick reckon they'll lose around £5,000 playing the tie! They'll have to stay overnight on the Friday, maybe in Edinburgh, (or maybe not if the Festival's still on!) Nairn have a real tough one away to Linlithgow Rose, but Brora will be pleased with a home game and a very winnable one vs. Vale of Leithen. Lossie v Culter is interesting as it pits the North's top Junior club against a struggling Highland League side. Was looking for Cove but then remembered they've got a bye! (Along with Formartine, Dalbeattie and Whitehill Welfare*) *Mantis's favourite team! Nairn and Brora will walk over their opponents I'll take that bet. Linlithgow will beat Nairn fairly comfortably i would reckon. Linlithgow are a poor side did you watch the SJC final? Is this the same Linlithgow Rose who won 19 and drew 3 out of 22 games last season to win the East Super League. The ones who also won the Junior League Cup and the Fife and Lothians Cup as well as being runners up in Scottish Junior Cup and East of Scotland Cup. Not the sort of record I'd expect for a poor side.
  11. In between discussions on the geography and natular history of Canada can I say that so long as we have a four sided pitch with two sets of goals then our stadium is suitable.
  12. It has to be the fitest most on form keeper every time. At the moment Esson is struggling to stay fit.
  13. Thats an awful lot of teams we want rid of. Who we going to play when they're all gone?
  14. In your first couple of sentences you are probably right. However, the "silly infighting" is nothing to do with Scottish football and plenty to do with power struggles within The Rangers. I'm quite sure The Rangers will get into the top flight again but theres only one way that can happen. Promotion through the leagues. The original company went to the wall. A new company was formed that took over the assets of the old and applied to join the Scottish league system. As is only right they started at the same place as we did when we applied. We had to work our way up and so should they.
  15. A decent win tomorrow and we stay top for another week. Celtic dont play this week.
  16. Would you not be quicker going A20; M20; M26; M25; M40; M42; M6 TOLL; M6; A74 (M); M74; M73; M80; M9; A9; M90; A90; A85; A991; A92; As for Runrig, there was a time when I'd maybe have agreed with you but Guthro is doing a good job with them.

  22. Will a YES vote see us economically better of? Here may lie the answer http://www.businessforscotland.co.uk/where-does-scotlands-wealth-go/ Its no secret that the author supports YES but he does make valid honest points.
  23. If Watkins is available, I'd put him ahead of Ross. Other than that I'd have the same team again really. Why? I know Ross, on a good day, can create things. He can get a good cross into the box. He has been known to score. He may be a tad lightweight but he has skill to overcome that. I've seen nothing of Watkins so cant comment there. Just curious to know your reasoning for one over the other.
  24. I know the plural of stadium is not "stadiums" but I couldn't be bothered to change it. Before the "correct" brigade sort me out. It would have been quicker to sort it out than post again explaining why you couldn't be bothered! Lizi, you are actually right. Stadiums is the preferred plurar throughout most of the english speaking world. Stadia is derived from latin and seldom used to mean plural of stadium according to http://grammarist.com/usage/stadiums-stadia/ Dd, it would have been quicker to do a bit of research before laughing.
  25. That would depend on what you term as "our support". Is it the people on here, many of whom use this site to keep in touch from afar, or the people who attend matches. I would reckon the majority who make the journey on a saturday to home games are born and bred Invernessians who still live in the city. At away matches you're more likely to encounter those who've moved away and even a good few non-Inverness born folks who just took a liking to our team. Some of whom travel hundreds of miles to a game from daan saff.
