  1. From Jan 09 he was at Elgin. Can't remember if that was a loan though
  2. Suppose it all depends on what they want to do with their lives. Assuming they all get other jobs in the area and are still getting paid to play then the HL is as good as any other league. Not every footballer wants to get into coaching though those who do can also start at HL level and step up from there. I'd imagine that's the way Rossco is likely to go.
  3. I just cant be ersed finding the appropriate emoticons but Luke today is the start of the Tay fishing season and I think I caught one.
  4. I'm more interested in who he replaces, Tokely or Munro? Has Deek seen the same light that Tel seen?
  5. Sorry but I have to wonder about the mindset of the OP. There isn't one player in the world that I could say I hate. I've not met many but those I have have been very nice, honest, pleasant people. Yes there are players who make the headlines for being arses but I cant find a reason to hate them. Oh and I actually thought the young Mr Sutherland was more mature than to be involved in such friviolities. Would Mr Sutherland senior support those views?
  6. Can he do worse? I dont think so but I cant see him doing much better, in the short term, with the current squad. However, and I hope GS can see past his favourite teams, there is upcoming talent out there. Even in the SPL there are players who would give their all for country. Our own Andy Shinnie being one. What I'd like to see is for GS to have the chance to build a team from the many youngsters and not from the has beens that other managers have chosen.

Is there no possibility of shoehorning in a simple database that could be populated both by manual insertion and cut & paste from researching other public domain places such as Wiki, Soccerbase etc.? Have it done such that the source of info is acknowledged as is done in Wiki. I know its all a big challenge for the persons doing this. And if there are a number of people involved they need to communicate and agree with each other as to whats being included and who's doing what. Its a challenge and its not something I've seen on any other site so it could be another first for CTO and ICTFC. I dont have a clue how the sort of software needed works but I can appreciate that the whole project will be a time consuming and difficult task but I'm sure that if committed people can be found then the historians and BBC Reporters/Writers would be only too willing to give up information. Going back to what I said earlier it has to look professional so the volunteer's must have a good grasp of grammar.

I'm sure they play home games at TCS and entry is free. For anyone interested in our up and coming talent we are away to Dunfermline on 24th Feb for Scottish Youth Cup QF k.o. 1:00pm. Possibility of more silver to TCS this season.
  10. Just for you http://chrishoggthefightback.blogspot.co.uk/
  11. Matty Cooper is a kid who's been thrown in at the deep end and doesn't deserve that tirade. I'd be very surprised if Chris Hogg is back playing in the next few weeks and would agree with davie that Meekings will be the first choice.
  12. And a chance to improve that co-efficient
  13. Think he's likely to sign for Swindon at the end of his loan.
  14. Roberts is a kid learning his trade. Give him a break.
  15. Cant wait for his well thought out and interesting post match comments.
  16. No Luke!! He's on trial at Birmingham. A Brummy is a person from that city. Had you used the colloquial term Brum, which incidently is short for Brummagem, a name used for Birmingham in the middle ages, then you would have gotten away with it. Whatever happened to that other high scorer who left Scotland for Birmingham........ah yes he's with Swindon Town.
  17. Mentioned here http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/2013/jan/15/lance-armstrong-comes-clean-oprah?intcmp=239
  18. 16 days to go yet
  19. Oh sh1t!!!! My stupid.
  20. Not yet they haven't but they will do today according to http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20932584 My understanding is there will be one body running the whole lot.
  21. Joey barton is a player who was born a few years too late. Had he been a player in 70's or 80's he'd be a hero. Unfortunately our modern PC correct non contact namby pamby sport doesn't like a Barton type person.
  22. Believe it or not 12th but some of those things you listed have been done. I recieved an e-mail when the tickets went on sale and that was all the way to Angola. I have seen some comments on P&B from fans of other clubs who wanted to purchase online but couldnt because they weren't registered or something. Perhaps if we could sell tickets on the day at ER and publicised this then a few neutrals may turn up.

If one or two of the guys are interested in building the current stats segment then I'd be inclined to give them the power. I would, however, ask that they use spell checkers and good grammar and make sure the profiles look professional. The Wikipedia ICT page looks like parts of it have been written by a barbary monkey on acid.
  24. I have to kind of agree with Starchief here. Green has put forward a proposal. Whether its worse or better than the others remains to be seen but I see no reason why his cant be looked at. The proposal does nothing to help Rangers. They will still take the same time to climb the leagues. As for the finances I cant see why, if he had a vote, he'd be against the sharing of the wealth a bit better. After all he stands to gain by the monies going down through the leagues. Please also note here that the SPL are throwing their weight with their own proposal. They have ignored the proposal that came from the SFL and instead thrown their own on the table and demanded the SFL follow this track. Somewhere in all that there's a bit of bribery and blackmail and nothing for the fans to savour. IMO their quest for change to suit their own ends will destroy the game in this country.
  25. Was in today getting 22 tickets and was told we have sold just over 1200 so far . Unless there is a big surge in the next week and a half we could go down with a support far less than our team and management deserve . The club have done virtually nothing to sell the match to people who do not attend matches on a regular basis . Surely we should be on Moray Firth radio trying to encourage the local community to support the club as it tries to make history !!!!!! When our neighbours county were in their semi there was non stop coverage on both the radio and the local press ,which resulted in a fantastic response . For an away game thats a good turnout. I'm sure more tickets will be sold but I'd never expect numbers like those at Scottish Cup. Not even from County. Unfortunately this cup is seen by many SPL fans as a mickey mouse affair and not the best attended, more so because the cash is crap and its run by the other league body. Hearts fans may indeed turn out in vast numbers but that more about the venue and an attempt to create the bragging rights of saying they hold the record for attendance at ER. People may well disagree but I think excess of 1200 is a very good turnout. And we'll still outsing the tarts.
