  2. Contrary to what the OP has written above. I assume he didn't realise it was past midnight when he posted. The draw is today at 14:30 hrs. From SPFL.com. The Draw for the Second Round of the Scottish League Cup will take place within Hampden Park Stadium on Wednesday, 7th August at 2.30pm. The Second Round of this season's competition will be seeded and will involve the 15 winners from the First Round and the following clubs: Ross County, Dundee United, Aberdeen, Kilmarnock, Heart of Midlothian, St. Mirren and Dundee.
  3. The seeding format is to give Rangers a chance at a trophy.............................................but wait.................they went out in first round.
  4. Have conversation without being abusive or the thread will be closed. Rival its a group of Celtic fans who aren't getting it all their own way.
  5. What have the club done more this close season than recent years then? The club with its performances and final league position last season alone should have increased season ticket sales, think its a bit off for some to blame the club for not doing enough It's worrying that County will have more season ticket holders than us for the second year running but i very much doubt that it would effect Terry or the players on the park Maybe a recruiting drive by Caleyjagsforever is a more apt suggestion Dougal That has to fall into the realms of biggest contradiction ever Dougal. As for this whole question and topic responses all I see is the OP's initial point and a group of people taking the opportunity to slate the club in some way without any facts to support such. Has anyone officially stated ST sales are down?
  6. Well does anyone have the passion and commitment to keep the flag flying or do we think it should rest now thsat Mikeys gone?
  7. A great guy, a great fan and an even greater bearer of the flag. RIP Mikey.
  8. I would love to know how your 'current location' is pronounced! I'm assuming It's a real place and you weren't simply annoyed at being asked where you currently reside?! Just for you Sneckboy Fukuoka City in Japan Fukuoka is the capital city of Fukuoka Prefecture and is situated on the northern shore of the island of Kyushu in Japan. Wikipedia Population: 1.483 million (Apr 1, 2012) Area: 340 km² So F u ok
  9. Q2. Fort William Q4. 200 miles of the coast of Angola, West Africa
  10. To be fair to our players this fixture is one they dont really want to be in so close to start of season. Nobody wants to risk injury in a game that has more meaning for HL teams than it does for us.
  11. Whilst I would agree with some of Yngwie's points I would contest the Nuclear Missile one. The western world built up an arsenal of nuclear weapons, not for the defence of our countries but to counter what the Russians were doing. We built up an arsenal that would destroy the earth ten times over just to have one more missile than them. These weapons will never be used to defend us because if they were there wont be anything left. They're not needed and are a drain on our finances. I know nothing about the economy of Iceland so cant comment on them but Ireland is actually a good example of what can be good in an independant nation and what isnt. Prior to going against the wishes of the Irish people to join the Euro Ireland was a prosperous country. The Euro put change to that just as it did to Greece and Spain.
  12. Greenhalgh never won a contract with Inter. he won a place in their academy. There's a big difference.

  15. Maybe many of those who, in the past, bought ST's knowing they couldn't get to every game have decided to pay per game. Season ticket sales are good because they provide the club with cash up front but they are not the be all and end all provided attendance levels stay the same or increase.
  16. Has been signed
  17. A total waste of money that does nothing to address the real reasons for accidents and deaths on A9. Analysing some of the deaths over the last few years, especially south of Perth, the design of junctions plays a big part. there are a number of crossroads between perth and Dunblane where people have not appreciated the speed of main road traffic when crossing. i personally have witnessed people cross one carraigeway and, seeing vehicles on the other carriageway in the correct (inner) lane, have driven out into the overtaking lane. One of the most recent accidents, resulting in death, was caused by a northbound vehicle managing to find its was onto the southbound carriageway on the Dalnaspidall dual carriageway. Another recent death came about after two trucks collided head on. Niether was reported as having been breaking any speed limits. People, usually but not always foriegn tourists, have also been known to forget they are back on a single carraigeway section after having driven along a dual section. I regularly drive this road in car and on bike and I find the majority of drivers keep within the speed limits. What I do find frustrating though is the slow moving trucks that ply the road. Drivers of which tend to ignore the queues forming behind them. These cause people to take stupid chances that have been known to result in accidents. Average speed camera's.....What will they achieve. They'll make people aware of their speed between two groups of camera. Outwith the camera area people will speed up just as they do with fixed cameras. Re-engineering the road and, especially, the junctions is the only way to reduce death on this road.
  18. Interesting figures there but I wonder who would have faired best if the UK had adopted a more fair system of voting proportional to the votes gained. in all those elections quoted above only once did the party in power get there with greater than 50% of the vote.
  19. Its my fault. I've decided to forego season tickets for sponsorship.
  20. Really!! Terry wasn't exactly an angel on squad nights out when he was a player.
  21. If true I hope Terry can do something with him. Not exactly played much since leaving Norway and hasn't scored either.
  22. Who's Holworth?

  24. Looking at the line-up I'm inclined to think Butcher is giving a few youngsters a chance of a first team game just now because from the weekend the full concentration will need to be on first team Nick Draper is a youngster. He's been brought in as the U20/third choice keeper this season. Presumably he's injured and Butcher (if he's even there) is playing Mackay as Brill played last night and he doesn't want to risk anymore keepers. Rumour has it that Ryan is injured so maybe he's preserving Draper
