No. Like other TV companies Alba have paid for a package that includes a number of SPL matches. They were scheduled t show the game when it should have been played and are unable to show it now. I'm sure they will already have a game earmarked t replace the missing one. Whether that involves us and County remains to be seen.

I would take offence if people were referring to those who are recognised as Gypsies just as I would if the reference was to Blacks or Asians or Gays or those of a particular religious persuasion but when the term is used against a group of football fans, who are probably not likely to be one of the minority groups then I find it a bit difficult to understand where the crime comes into it. Are they trying to say that if I call CaleyD a Gypsy B, knowing full well that he isn't, can I be prosecuted. Mind you, with his surname, he could be.

What a group of defeatists we are. We are playing well. We are dominating games for long periods. We may have lost six league games but we've only been beaten by three of the eleven other teams in the league. We have a team of players who are more than capable of holding their own against everyone below us. The only slump we've had of late is in our finishing. We're creating plenty chances but not taking the final chance. Against Motherwell last week we had a similar number of shots on target as them but they scored theirs. I believe we will get a European spot and that we can hold onto third. I think the heavy defeats from Motherwell have ensured they stay above us. Always look on the bright side of life

Could it just be that, because Conor plays in U-20's Butcher doesn't want to risk burning the lad out. After all he's only 18. There aye seems to be conspiracy theories whenever the youngsters are mentioned but I think Conor and Liam etc get quite a lot of competitive game time in their development. I also think we dont have enough U-20 players to compete in that league so what we've got has to be protected.

Obviously signing a Polish player, or infact, any foreign player would be far from enough to acquire some sort of foreign following. If anything, when we signed Niculae.. quite a few of our own fans went Romania mad, so hopefully it wouldn't play out like that again ;) In all seriousness, far too many Invernesians have had plenty of time to come and support their team. That's not to knock all the genuine folk who support and the others who will never be able to make a game for whatever reasons because I know there are quite a few out there. What more do those who sit back and choose not to attend or support want from such a small club like us? And I guarentee any promise we had in late December/early January that had them cautiously showing interest, has all but evaporated again, merely because there's no silverwear on offer again and we've hit a slump. If we can call out to the foriegn folk of the highlands who maybe have an interest in football but stick to their boys at home or don't feel they can be included because they're not locals or regulars, then isn't it worth a shot? Make an effort to show them what we can offer them and that we can atleast make a little effort to show what they'de mean to the club should they choose to support. Sounds rash but Inverness has been kind enough to lend them a home and a job.. hopefully we can engage enough with them in order to get them onboard with us and to be blunt, help us out a little. Has it ever crossed anyones mind that maybe, just maybe, the majority aren't football orientated. Or indeed sports orientated. We are forever, as football minded people, thinking everyone should be the same.
