If we can't summon the type of fighting performance required ( dogs of war, blah blah etc ) when it really matters we are going to be found out badly when we go into the playoffs-sideways possession stuff will be laughable against a direct pumped up league one outfit.

Perhaps the years of financial mismanagement could have been lessened or perhaps avoided completely with a stronger fan representation at board level, positively effecting decision and direction. Good result considering our defensive setup - looking at how poor arbroath were for most of the first half I'm surprised we continued with 3 CB's. Showed them too much respect and almost paid the price for it...they scored with their only shot. Hope some confidence has been restored with the result, quite a few decent performances today but again not enough converted chances. Hats off to Samuel, he was up for it from the first minute and deserved his reward. A good platform to build from next week.

The more I see of him on the touchline I feel he is increasingly frustrated that as a player he could affect the outcome of games, whilst as a manager he has nothing to offer but menacingly glaring at officials.

Airdrie and Queens Park aside, the other teams mentioned have a half decent fan base. We don't, most of the glory hunters have drifted away, leaving a small but hard-core band of diehards.

Maybe Shaw has been training harder than he has been playing in games. Haven't seen much evidence of him exerting himself since Dodds left. MVP for Ayr next year?

Keeper parried his cross into path of Duffy, would've been harder to miss, although I have seen that happen.

If he's out for any length of time it's probably his last appearance for us.
