  1. In think 2nd half county were well within themselves, if we had scored then I reckon they could've upped their game again, whereas we were flat out looking to get back into it. They were already thinking about Friday. Game management.
  2. He was quite combative when he was with us, and not being the quickest he could end up on the late side of the tackle. I remember in the premier league he was feeling victimised by the amount of fouls/bookings he was picking up...claiming that he was the player fouled more often than not. I think due to previous dominance in the other derbies the kettleferg has decided that Draper will be used in the most destructive way when county don't have the ball. Polworth will be glad to see the back of him.
  3. Draper doing for county what he used to do for us...?
  4. That's two games now where we haven't looked as motivated as our opponents, not sure if it's an attitude thing or we are just beginning to see the issue with running a tight squad with replacements who are not up to thestandard of the guys they're replacing. Even guys like tremarco mckay & chalmers are looking a bit jaded now. I think our first 11 is one if the best in the league, but we were beaten by a county team missing some of their top players too. That's our weakness - squad depth is hurting us now.
  5. What an ovation when Kelly got a yellow.
  6. Apart from 5-10 minutes before & after the goal we've been pretty poor, losing the battles for loose balls. County hitting it long or trying to tee up Mullin. He will have much more space 3nd half A draw would be nice.
  7. Play the whistle. Trafford didn't, and was 2nd to the ball.
  8. Yep, tv wins again, wolf down the dinner & hope the game distracts from the indigestion.
  9. But, back on topic, I hope we can cobble together a group with enough bottle to beat this lot tonight.
  10. Yes, more game time needed against seasoned pros, rather than against schoolboy defences - their development is surely arrested at that level.
  11. Does two posts after a performance like that qualify as 'constantly' ? Really? Hard to find the positives on that performance. Lighten up. He was the worst of a bad bunch 'IMVHO' yesterday, and for the life of me I don't know how he ended up being dispossessed, and left in a heap so often - he is quite a large athlete after all. I do hope you can enjoy the rest of your day.
  12. Falkirk, though improved from their early season form weren't much to look at , for a club which has over the recent decade played a good style of passing football they sure overused the long ball yesterday. Hitting it from all points at the back they were, with an occasional attempt to feed Rudden and break the offside trap. Definitely dropped points I'm afraid.
  13. I prefer Ezekiel 25:17...the path of... Blah blah blah etc etc
  14. Amongst a team that looked like they had been out on the pish the night before I thought our big Jessie up front looked like he had the most to drink. I can't help myself?? No. It just had to be said. ? 'Rediculous'...you could get some work with comic relief for that level of pun. Keep 'em coming.
  15. Source or not, it's a logical progression if we continue in this division with heavy losses. Next year? Not so sure, but it will come.
  16. Lots of wee kids in the north stand today - must have been some tickets out to schools. Quite nice to see them running around , a bit of singing going on too. A welcome addition to the fan base, for a day at least. Filled some of the spaces in the stand anyway, and I think they had a better day out than us older ones!
  17. Hard to tell which team was up challenging for playoffs & which team was battling to beat relegation.
  18. Bloody horror show from start to finish. Slightly more threat when our useless forward went off. For such a big unit he's a bit soft in the challenge. Hearts will be looking forward to playing us.
  19. Read it and you'll ee its a good statement ,and the fact it's done jointly with County draws a line that is clear. Damage done to either stadium from either set of fans affects both clubs and will be dealt with accordingly. Some tubes in the support can't comprehend this...they aren't needed at the games.
  20. Aye, he certainly has bite. More energy than most too.
  21. You're comparing the holding pair of Chalmers & Trafford of the attacking Armstrong, McGregor & McMinn? Really? Trafford can break up the play with a tackle or two, he's improved with game time although he fades second half. Chalmers is more effective central or on the left, it's quite a fad to play people on their opposite side but with someone as one footed as Chalmers it's very limiting. Sure we can't replace like for like with our squad, but we have to adapt our game according to who we have available or our balloon will get burst very quickly. Starting Saturday.
  22. Maybe a chance for Chalmers to play central, a poor night on the right for him on Tuesday.
  23. If there is a reason they cant go they can't. If there is no reason they can't go then that's up to them , but I wouldn't call myself a fan if I could but didn't attend.
  24. If they can go but don't then they're probably not fans then.
