What we need in transfer market to improve.
Check in the managers office, there might be a scrap of paper with Steve Marsellas number on it...

OFW still has groin issues...? This will be a test for us!

I know Rooney was up against the kick it and run pace of Mulraney on Saturday, but he didn't exactly cover himself in glory with his game management or marking at set pieces. He may have a cult following after his antics against County but he has to up his game to claim a regular slot in the team.

Club model
We were in profit for 2 or 3 years around the time of the cup win. Most small provincial clubs survive on handouts in one form or other. The initial costs we incurred at the Longman have hampered us in the past , mismanagement of finances has cost us since. The risk to us is if we are continually wasting these donations the flow of funding will dry up. Internal personality conflicts don't help either.

The Promotion Race
Once playoffs are confirmed we must rest players...we don't have the depth that Dundee Utd have. Good chance for the young lads to prove themselves in senior games.

What we need in transfer market to improve.
We could well be scouting part time players for another season in this division.

Not signing the likes of Nat Wedderburn, Tobi Sho Silva and Dani Lopez for a start. Increase the budget right away. JH sure could sign expensive turnips.

Semi Final Team
I think we're all out of rabbits.

The ICT Identity
I think the identity of the team has been as an attacking , attractive footballing side in most of its 25 years, blending experience and youth which has been great to see. Still fairly attacking minded but limited personnel wise by financial restrictions of late... I think (biased?) we've nearly always signed honest professional's, can't think of too many idiots or time wasters. Also I think the team/management & staff are seen in quite a positive light compared to the rest of the club which has at times been a basket case and sets the ICT brand back time and time again. A team to be proud of, a club that sometimes makes you hang your head. Still young though, still time.

If only the replacements he brought in were half as good as the ones that left, maybe his 'style' would have continued to be successful. But they were mince and it wasn't. Fairly simple really.

New CEO Appointed
Not suggesting anything, merely pointing out - you get what you pay for. 35k isn't a massive amount and I'm sure some of our squad are probably on less, Christ knows what OFW is on, and I'm sure Polworth has a good contract which is why he's leaving. You do know it's players wages not buying players , don't you?

Play Off Dates
Basically it's the second worst team in the premier playing the second ,third or fourth best team in the championship. All points to the big team succeeding, but when you look at the likes of Dundee and Hamilton - they've been dodging the drop for years and are primed to go down sooner rather than later.

New CEO Appointed
Only the new ones, until the higher earners are off the books.

New CEO Appointed
35k won't get much.

Championship Winning Players Can You Name
11/12 for Russel instead of Russell. I thought there were going to be bonus points for naming all the players in the title celebration photo...

New CEO Appointed
He certainly has experience in a number of roles at various clubs, and has been in discussion with us for a few weeks. Might be good for both parties - new challenge off the beaten track for him and a fresh appraisal of the situation we are in. Over the years we have been a happy hunting ground for players and managers to come here and prove themselves - perhaps mr Gardiner will do likewise.

One step at a time folks. Saturday first...

The biggest game of the season so far.
Without Donaldson & Welsh we look fairly lightweight through the middle, also losing a good bit of experience with their absence . Keeping it tight would be hard work for our already jaded looking team but we can but hope - although I've never thought we could sit in and contain a team. Not seen enough of Hearts recently to speculate on how they play - they have a big squad and seem to constantly change their 1st team lineups.
