Relegation
I seem to recall our relegation under Butcher was the highest ever points tally for relegation at that time. Scant consolation, as we were the worst team.

Post-Season Summary/Rant(?)
There is a step between the u18's and first team which currently we don't have any team playing competitively in...so most of the time they are just making the bench look busier. As for the season - we've finished higher than last year, but been worse statistically - the draws have done for us, and also with that many draws, or close games - often the results can be decided by a dodgy official. The trick for next year is to make sure the odd poor decision doesn't matter - just win the damn games by plenty of goals.

Dundee Utd -V- Inverness CT (playoff leg 2)
Officiating aside, our depth of squad has ultimately done us in over the season. Too many games for key players - rushing some back from injury too quick, it just all added up. Losing Welsh probably the biggest as he had come on to a great game before his injury, and our midfield never looked as strong without him. The recent run of games has been incredible due to the patched up squad of guys we have relied on, time and time again - losing Carl a few weeks ago again hurt us and finally losing Liam not only cost us Tuesday but had a knock on effect last night. Monumental effort first half then the ref did his thing ... Tough one for next year, but the rebuild must continue - now we know 3rd or 4th is no use lets go for the title.

David Carson Signs For ICT
True, he is an unknown quantity, but we have had a few of those from non league englandshire before...Some have done rather well. Good experience with Blackburn u21's so hopefully still has that professionalism. Time will tell.

David Carson Signs For ICT
After initial surprise at these early signings it begins to make sense with regard to budgeting large salaries coming off the wage bill as we get closer to June.

'Aggressively tracks back ' - not like for like replacement then ? Sounds promising, and a decent age too...fingers crossed.

Do or die - Dundee Utd (A), Fri 17th May
One coach, really? Sounds poor. Disappointing if it's true as I'm sure there would be been demand for more. It'll be the motor for me , touch and go time wise as the A9 isn't much fun on Friday evening's after work.

Under18's
Another indication on tonights preview twitter feed, of the talent on its way up through our system with the news about Milton of Leys winning the scottish schools title in glasgow. A huge achievement from any school up here against the best of the central belt primaries (with plenty of old firm academy kids in). At least four of this team are in the ICT system, highlighting the importance in the modern game of developing your own talent. Well done.

Under18's
A very talented group indeed, would be a pity not to guide a few through to the first team. Vitally important that we continue the development both before and after this age group.

Under18's
Passed the rugby club this afternoon just as the boys put one in against Celtic - any score updates?

ICT Youth in Highland League.
A friendly against HL will be just that - no player wants an injury on their weekend off from league business. Need competitive matches to prep the youngsters.

Dundee Utd Team
I see the price has been bumped up too, wonder what cost for the final matches, should we get there? I'd say the spfl should know this will affect reported attendances, but I'm sure they are aware and couldn't give a toss anyway.

Inverness CT -V- Ayr United
I don't think there has been a rush of criticism for 'looking tired' or whatever, maybe one poster stated this, but you seem to have commented on it a couple of times. There have been comments, correctly stating that it was perhaps lacklustre, poor at times, and maybe they were at times playing within themselves. All of the above may have been true from various viewpoints but are not necessarily seen as criticism. Looking uninterested or in holiday mode, if it were true would be more serious accusations but whether or not this was the case is anyone's guess. The number of games played recently in quick succession is more of a factor than the overall 50 games this season, but as they are professional athletes who by now won't be training very hard between games it should just be a case of injury management. It is up to the coaching staff, again professional's, to look after this with regards to the upcoming games. So it's into the ice baths again and some Pilates for a few days then game faces on for Tuesday where we will be facing a stronger team than Ayr United at home. Hopefully the performance is up a notch or two...

What we need in transfer market to improve.
If we get a good offer we'd struggle to turn it down...and it's not just the gudgies who may be looking.
