Great run by the youngster, but had two chances to shoot in front of goal before he went further wide then dragged his shot wide. Austin went too far on this occasion, but that is all. No getting knickers twisted folks .

Handball... dry your eyes. Weren't nearly good enough. Could've played 'next goals' the winner' and still would have lost. If's and but's . Our season has been punctuated by them. Do you really think we are capable?...Not just hoping...hope gets you only so far, but really think so?? Too often we have come up short when we 'expected ' more. I think some will be let down, again.

Realistically, our most consistent players are in a pretty small group.

We all hope we can beat Ayr,it will be a challenge as they are playing well, but I can't see us beating United - certainly not if today is an indication.

Very low tempo, neither team seems really up for it. Should be winning easily but for lack of cutting edge.

Our leading goalscorer isn't on the top scorer list for the division either. Dont think Polworth got that many MoM's on here did he?

Our problem with u18's is they are playing other u18 teams whose best players have been moved up to reserve teams. We don't have that progression, so basically our u18's are basically beating up younger teams and not experiencing the senior game.

Maybe a clean break is best for his development, I think he's definitely stagnated in this respect and although different types of players Ryan Christie came on hugely after leaving us. Perhaps this was due to not playing in a relegation battle and spending 2 years in the second tier in a weakened team.

No one seems go have mentioned our u18's, quite a few will be too old for that team next year and as there is no reserves what will happen to them?

With the current state of our squad I'd rather not make dodgy predictions about how many points and against who we'll get them. Each 90 minutes saps already tired legs and leaves us wondering who will make the next game. Every team is playing for something still.
