What we need in transfer market to improve.
Looking ahead to next season, regardless of the league we are in, today and most of this season has shown that we need to improve in areas of the park so the priorities in the next transfer market has to be defenders, especially centre half and right back. I think we probably also need a striker as well, preferably one that scores regularly. To be honest, this also depends on who stays or goes because players like Donaldson, Polworth and Doran will be linked away.

The biggest game of the season so far.
Well, now our attention can turn to our next big game against Hearts on Saturday. This is one that we should be confident of, despite the last meeting, due to the current form of both teams. I'd go with a 4-5-1 for this one. Ridgers Rooney McHattie McKay/McCart Tremarco Doran Chalmers Trafford Polworth Walsh White.

Another big game at weekend
We have another big game on Saturday, win and we go up to 3rd and still clear of Dunfermline. Draw or lose them it gets nervy, provided Partick win against Dunfermline. We have Trafford suspended but hopefully McCart is ok after looking like he was close to being subbed after 10 min tonight. Ridgers Rooney, Donaldson, McCart, Tremarco Doran, Polworth, Chalmers, Walsh, MacDonald White. We need to keep Shankland in check if we are to have any chance in this one but I hope we get the desired reaction from tonight because the fans deserve a reaction imho. Oh and let's hope for a better ref because tonight's was beyond atrocious!!

John Robertson
I feel obliged to start this thread in praise of John Robertson and how he set us up today, imho, he got it spot on. As most of you know, I am not always Robbo's biggest supporter so by starting this, I'm kind of admitting my errors regarding that. I spoke with the site manager last week and basically apologised for some of my posts and reactions in the past and we came to a mutual agreement that, after a bad result, I will leave it a day or two before posting, in order to calm down. I thanked him and all the mods for being reasonable with me so, I promise them all that I will not be a pain anymore. Anyway, back to today, I say everyone involved with the club deserve credit for this cup run :ictscarf:.

Team for Scottish Cup QF.
I would like to see us go for by going with an attack minded 4-4-2. Ridgers Rooney, Donaldson, McCart, Tremarco Doran, Walsh, Chalmers, Polworth White and Austin. I think John is likely to favour the 4-5-1 though so something along the lines of : Ridgers Rooney, Donaldson, McCart, Tremarco Doran, Walsh, Chalmers, Welsh, Polworth White.

How to use the budget wisely?
I see that Robbo is saying that he has to use his budget wisely ahead of next season, especially now that we have made a loss so, how should JR use the budget next season? I think it really depends on who stays and who goes but I am fairly certain that Polworth and OFW will be sold in order to free up some wages. I am thinking that we may see a few more of our youngsters get some match time too which is a positive. I can also see us try and get a striker in if possible and maybe another centre half. Let me know what you think, I'm I completely on the wrong tracks or am I about right ?

Inverness CT -V- Ross County
I this I should say that everyone, including the management deserve enormous credit for tonight . They showed great character coming back twice from a goal down and nearly won it before ET when Fox nearly scored an OG (I think) and we also hit the bar. As I said in another thread, Mark Ridgers is my new hero, for that penalty save alone :). With our record of penalties scored this season, it's even better that we win it without missing one. I am really happy tonight and am hoping this is the springboard to success in the league.

Poor performances
Yes lol but, MARK RIDGERS is my hero now ?.

Scottish Cup replay
A shame its not on tv again but its Champions League night so nothing we can do about that. Anyway, go ICT .

Poor performances
I am curious to know why our performances are so inconsistent and I'm fairly certain that our management team are asking the same thing? As I stated the other day, our players are capable of producing the goods on any given day. Our results and better performances have been against the top 3 teams, we are unbeaten against Ayr, Dundee U and only lost once against Ross Co and that was a game in which we played extremely well in. So, is it something psychological or something else like poor training methods (highly unlikely in my opinion), expecting to just turn up and win against teams like Alloa, Patrick or Falkirk (again unlikely) or something else? This could be asked about Chelsea or the French Rugby team or at the minute too so that's why I'm curious to know if it is possible psychological?

Scottish Cup replay
Well, Tuesday can't come quick enough for me lol so hopefully the lads are up for this and repay the supporters for yesterdays debacle and tbh, I think they will give us the desired reaction . Regarding the line up, I'd be inclined to go for a straight 4-4-2 attack minded line up :). Ridgers Rooney, McCart, Donaldson, Tremarco Walsh, Welsh, MacDonald, Doran Austin and White. If Polly is back fit then put him in instead of MacDonald and, likewise, if Coll is out, put in McKay. A lot of supporters seem to criticise Jordan from what I've seen on here, on Twitter and on Facebook but tbh, I don't think he's as bad as people make him out to be. Hopefully a few of our youngsters like Harper or McGregor get on at some stage to show what they can do :). I really hope the crowd is as lively as Monday night because, I thought they were excellent that night :).

Dunfermline -V- Inverness CT
See my post in the sack the board topic. That is what I mean, auld asses like IHE can get away with posts like his yet my first post gets a warning! Seriously, do you actually care about people like me because it's evident you don't! This site is getting worse than pie and bovril, I'm serious!! Oh and ban me all you like, I'll keep reregistering then calling you out for your failings until somethings done!! I'm sick of being accused of being someone I'm not!

Sack the board!

You guys are useless and tbh, ban me all you want but I'll just keep reregistering!! Dunfermline -V- Inverness CT
Its the manager that is ****. Oh and regarding the slating you fear, stuff them, they just like mediocrity and only like it when we agree with them, people like us are not entitled to an opinion. I just laugh at the comments as they can be personal ans and should result in a ban but, no, not here, posters can be as personal in their criticism ad as they like yet, get away with it. Oh, and some are worse than others, I have about a handful that I can count on getting personal with me!

Sack the board!
The chairman is at fault for not replacing Oakley and not telling us what is happening at the club! We know nothing like where is Angus Beith, where is the money from his selling etc.
-
Lets be feckin serious
Under the dud gaffer, bottom by the looks of it!
-
Sack the board!
Enough is enough now, our chairman MUST be responsible for the pish that we have to endure week in, week out so he HAS to be replaced! How can we expect promotion when the ass sells a striker in the last few hours without getting a replacement plus nobody knows what is happening at the club because he tells us nothing, yet our new vice chairman is saying that things will change, well, it doesn't look like it!! Tuesday is a big game and tbh, it should be the one that determines the managers position, lose and he'll have to go, win and he deserves a new contract. But to be fair, he deserves credit for the job he's doing with the dross he's got at his disposal . 4 wins in 19 is just pathetic!

Ross County -v- Inverness CT
Seemed to me that having the extra man in midfield was a masterstroke by Robbo because County were not getting service to Gardyne or McKay. Is that something new or does he do that in all games because, if not, then he certainly should because it worked at least for 45 minutes. For me, Tremarco was man of the match because he was excellent tonight, Ridgers handling was great plus he made a great save just before half time. I just wish we could hold on to a bloody lead because it's becoming ridiculous now!
