Interesting point of view because in parallel terms, various managers and directors at ICT have had considerable qualifications when it comes to running a football team or a company, but that doesn't seem to have deterred certain individuals from coming on here and telling them the apparent error of their ways. Sorry Charles cannot agree, define "qualifications" and surely you should be an advocate of free speech... everyone is entitled to ther own opinion, that is what this forum is for!!

If Butcher is truly as angry as his post-match interview this week suggested, surely it's time he forced our under-perfoming players to do an honest days work. They're supposed to be full time professionals afterall. If we were under any illusions as to how difficult a challenge it was going to be to win this league, we certainly shouldn't be anymore. I don't think it's time for Butcher to go, but it's certainly time for him to work alot harder than he has hitherto. He only works twice as hard as his players for ICT then!!!

I said that a few times. Even though i have said from the start to freinds we would not win it. I actually said i though it would be Partick! So many negative posts the last few days, I am hissed off at the result, but P/T manager knew the opposition, the ground and had played the Tinks before. He is a professional manager, probably well paid for the stint he puts in, is it 16 hours, Gosh I spend 7 hours flying to Dubai, then two days later fly home .. so that is 14 hours, for 4 days perhaps I can be a pundit for Latvian football in my free time!! I am also upset that neither Alex or I won the Euro Millions Jackpot, so I canna buy ICT, so back to work tomorrow By the way it is srill the master plan to come to the Drumossie in February, unfortunately , Mrs L is coming too, but promises to bring balloons. I had the good fortune to have a chat with TB last night at a charity event in Glasgow, he mentioned the away fans (and also when being interviewed on stage) and said how much noise they make, then started laughing about the "We are staying up" chant - said it was a cracker. He was extremelly enthusiastic about our away support and stuck up for our home supporters while I was being less than complimentary about them. Robbo left us to join his boyhood heroes Hearts. I doubt very much he'd do the same again as he seems to be more an ICT guy than a hearts guy unfortunately you cant sack anyone in football. you have to pay off the remainder of the contract to write it off or both parties mutually agree to terminate it I whole heartily agree that players should be paid by performance. If i had the money, id be doing the same with ICT. But you would probably only get local lads to play for that So what is so bad about that, get rid of the rich managers and get back to basics, the old team weren't so bad until MONey crept in!! And as for contracts , who writes them, if they wanted the work and I was the BOSS it would be on my terms.. off hobby horse now
