Last season with arguably better players DF didn’t manage to keep the team in the Championship. Not only that he got rid of battlers ( Welsh, Carson), who he didn’t like for some reason and sidelined the likes of Ujdur, Davidson, McGregor etc. Over 30+ games we saw the team slip further & further down the league until the inevitable happened. He claimed throughout that we were playing well and kept quoting the defensive record etc. How blind is he to the fact that all of that is irrelevant if every other team in the league has better results. He then ( as far as we understand), doesn’t speak or engage with players after relegation when he is the manager! This season with arguably a weaker / developing plus older players in a challenging league I fear will not learn from last seasons disaster and bring in loaners when he has a budget and repeat the same mistakes! He is getting off too lightly given all the other financial disasters we face. If the supporters trust and press don’t ask the hard questions he needs to answer, then who can. Cant blame fans for feeling so detached from the club. I have lost any faith in him I might have once had. Never spoken with him and he might be an ok bloke, but as a manager & coach at our club, he has already proven he doesn’t have what it takes! ☹️

Despite asking fans to support the team in Annan………. Panos himself was not there.

What good players would we offload??? More incoming players equals young players back out on loan etc. Operations should be standard conditions under players personal and club responsibility regardless of money. The manager is unlikely to be paid off, it may be part of the attraction for a new investor. Money doesn’t equal success, but I agree we can’t function without it.

Whilst new investment is welcomed, I’m not sure money will solve the underlying issues.

It has been very quiet since the Supporters Trust changed their minds and advised they didnt now recommend buying season tickets. What’s the latest from them, is this still their position, have they had any further communications from the Club????

I think during that period the groundsman ( Tommy Cumming at the time) did both. Now all teams right down to Highland league etc have someone who sorts out kit and all the other stuff players and training staff need.

A near neighbour of the last Physio says that both the current physio and Kitman have resigned from the Club! Not sure if it’s for the same or different reasons, but that’s not great news. Looks like there could be internal issues as well as financial ones. I suppose this is what happens when you don’t treat folks right. The Club are apparently relying on physios from Ross County. what a state to be in!

I don’t understand the reluctance for the Club to put a date on the resigned CEO,s departure. I also have worries about the current management team having already failed to keep us in the Championship over 30+ games. But it seems like we are stuck with those proven failures! At least his son got a job though, whilst good players and staff were cut out!

I have the same thoughts. I think if no new investment is found then we won’t have a Club anyway. The ST money is to my mind not for investment in youth or local players but just keeping the Club afloat and paying the current bills. I have still not renewed as I don’t know what my money is going towards. I will wait and see the CEO situation and who will run the Club after that and if there is any new money coming in. My fear is that if the current failed management team do get money to spend, then a load of loanees come in again and the youth we were promised would get their chance are sent back out on loan. Who is in charge and who is making the decisions affecting the Club??? I won’t renew until this is clearer.

He has no choice other than to play youth players and work with those he has under contract. I am sure it’s not what he wants and I suspect if new investors or owners give him some cash to spend, its only a matter of time before he brings in loanees and send the youngsters out on loan again. He is bideing his time. His coaching style is now under greater scrutiny , so he knows this is on him.

I agree with honesty being an absolute basic requirement when communicating with fans. Time will tell if Bollan is telling lies or not. I suspect he is and Ujdur has already left for another Club.

The Club media put out the normal post match interview on YouTube. You can tell by DF,s responses to questions that he is using the youth players because he has to, not because he wants to. If new investment is found, I’m sure he will get busy getting in another load of loanees.

The Club it seems is truly skint! No board member is putting in any cash and no other income stream coming in. The money for where we finished in the league would have been very small and probably already used up. The now Ex Chairman was keeping things afloat financially, but he has now gone along with his money. With that being the case it must only be season ticket sales that are paying wages for the players & staff etc. If no new investment is found soon, surely the club don’t have the ability to function much longer ??????? don’t know how many season tickets have been sold, but with the Trust now advising against buying them, surely it’s only a matter of time before we go bust !!!!!! Perhaps there is investment coming, but when and how much to clear debt and move forward. It’s really the only reason we have young (cheap), players in our current squad. I don’t think the Kelty move would have really sorted out the financial predicament!

Currently we have a manager, assistant manager, coach ( Scot Kellagher),& Goal keeping coach. I do wonder what value they provide in league 1.All have a cost and all necessary I’m sure ????????🤪??????????

He has shown himself to be neither a good football coach nor a manager. Even on reduced wages he is not worth it. Get him gone!

Accommodation is surely required for Newman, Ferguson, Gilmour, Savage, Brooks, Ujdur, D. Ferguson, Bollan, Goal keeping coach, Pyhsio ( if we have one) and there may be more. Some will share I assume. The same bunch would have required the same in Kelly !!!!!

After the conflicting advice initially from the Trust, I have decided not to renew my season ticket just yet. I have decided that if the management who got us relegated, got rid of or put out on loan some good players, complained weekly about plastic pitches and wouldn’t give our youth a chance are still in charge, I fear for this season. This as well as not speaking with players & staff following relegation shows the poor type of people they are. I will pay as you go at a few away matches, most of which are on plastic pitches!!!!! Get this lot Gone!

Now it is clear Ferguson & Bollan remain as management team, folks should not forget he had 30+ games to keep us up……. And didn’t!, Took in numerous loanees who were no better than what we had, got rid of, or sent on loan good players who would have fought hard for our Championship survival. Then just when you need a manger to be vocal and take control in relegation ( for which he must shoulder responsibility ) and potential administration, he goes silent, doesn’t even speak with players or football staff out of professional courtesy, to then sign his own son, is beyond belief !!!!!! People say we can’t afford to get rid of him………… can we afford to keep him!!!!! Get Him Gone!

According to the girlfriend of one of the players, Cameron Ferguson signed for the Club today. I’m sure it will be announced soon.

Wait till everyone finds out he has signed his son, without so much as saying a word to any other player or staff member at the Club!!!!! Manager…………. Really??????

It’s not sniping…….its an observation that the Trust aims & ambitions don’t seem to have any detail on the mechanics of how to collate the opinions of the fans they represent. The match day survey was a good initiative, is that the means to gather wider opinion? If so you don’t need to be a Trust member necessarily. I may become a Trust member, but when I hear others say they have information from the Club to allay fears and then fail to pass that on, or even explain why they can’t, I have trouble trusting the Trust.

I have seen the Trusts objectives & aspirations etc before. They don’t quite explain how they will be democratic & representative as they state in objective 1. Like I stated earlier, is that through an in person show of hands at a meeting or via an online facility? Some of their intents are admirable, but words and actions / mechanisms to make this work, is the detail needed.

I agree there does need to be a more representative fans voice to influence / communicate with those decision makers on the board. I do wonder how the Trust could speak with a unified voice. Does each member get to vote on any given topic?, and what happens to those fans voices that are not part of the Trust? Whilst we all may have the same, similar or differing views, the Trust need to gain trust of those they claim to represent, by acting in a clear, consistent and open manner. Currently it seems that a couple of self appointed individuals have put themselves in a position which suits their interests and needs, I have heard nothing on any wider consultation with fans on any given subject, If the last meeting at the Caley Club is anything to go by. However, the Trust do seem to want our money, whilst keeping some conversations to themselves!!!
