  1. They're taunting fans now. They'd have been better leaving out the entertainment 720 stuff and having it solely as a new chairman announcement.
  2. I'm not sure I can believe that the board are that far removed from reality that they would trust a ceo working his notice to be deciding the clubs future. However that clashes with the idea that the whole resignation thing is/was a hoax and he was always staying and that's equally far removed from reality. Bonus points for anyone who can come up with a sane explanation for what's going on.
  3. They ignored the majority view of fans at the last meeting and took an opposing stance. Troubles me to say it but they've shown as much willingness to listen to fans as the club and also only seem interested in membership fees and donations to the fund they're running.
  4. Do a companies house search for any of our main directors past and present and you'll find a string of dissolved companies. E.g. morrison has over 20 and some of them had suffered a wind up order including the company they renamed as the ict concert company. The red flags for me are not is what shown or not in the seventy7 ventures accounts. When it comes time to pay if he doesn't have the money he won't get his shares or whatever it is he is buying. The worry is the lack of any relevant experience and the feeling he's going to turn the club ito some kind of freak show exhibit with all the phygital tech crypto nonsense. It's the fact that he openly states that the football is the last thing to worry about in running a club. I'm starting to hope he doesn't have the money for those reasons.
  5. It's also possible the american interest didn't materialise into a deal and seventy7 was the only option left on the table.
  6. Putting this here instead of the supporters trust statement thread so it gets more attention. Hopefully the link works but you need to go look at the full conversation between two fans one of who is on the supporters trust board. There's a lot more than 3 replies as shown. It says that the supporters trust do not want to be asking questions of seventy7 ventures as they're worried it might frighten him off.
  7. Looking at the starting 11 I'm not sure we can use the younger players as an excuse for this one. From the highlights it could have been much worse as well.
  8. As he was looking for us to cover the difference between his wage here and there then it's possible we paid him/them.
  9. I want to see the interviewer explain to him that he needs to go mining for his new player budget.
  10. Looking forward to Duncoin's post match comments.
  11. Going to have to get phygital in the second half if we want to take anything from this game.
  12. Hopefully our fans at the game don't turn on the players. Not their fault we're in this position.
  13. Frontman
  14. Supporters trust did nothing on the kelty situation. They refused to support a boycott never organised the protest they said they would and even put out a statement saying fans should buy tickets and merch before changing their mind shortly after. They have been weak and passive in all of this. Even the recent statement says they are pleased with the news despite not knowing the first thing about it. Rome is burning and they're fiddling.
  15. Beat me to it. Despite my earlier post, I'm finding it hard not to be worried by all this. It's got similar characteristics to what was done by tulloch to move debt away from the club along with stadium ownership. Worse because we don't know the first thing about the person/people behind it.
  16. Given the lack of any obvious finances Makwana could be just a front man.
  17. You may want to google Panos Thomas and his involvement with Watford.
  18. Let's wait and see without going all google warrior on the guy. There's very few successful business people who don't have a few red flags including some who have been very good to us in the past.
  19. It's not a concrete source but they are close to an existing board member.
  20. Devil will be in the detail but it has to be better than the existing situation although I'm told Gardiner is to be 're-hired' by the new group.
  21. I imagine a chunk of the support are people with no strong affiliation to the club and attend purely for the social aspects and a liking for football in general. There's certainly no shortage of those who hold/held season tickets on both sides of the bridge. They will be largely apathetic to goings on behind the scenes but if they feel that the club may not see out the season then not buying a season ticket is an easy decision. Especially if they're not enjoying the product on the pitch. There will be many other reasons for fans choosing to stay away beyond those in the poll but not much which is encouraging people to attend. That is the main issue just now. Looking at the prices I see that everyone other than the under 20s has a reduced season ticket price this year. That strikes me as petty and counter productive especially if they want vocal support for the team on the park.
  22. More fool them if they want to play daft laddie and bury their head in the sand. There are numerous accounts of fans including me who have tried to contact them and not got so much as an acknowledgement.
  23. I think that oversimplifies the situation. Whilst many will verbalise it as 'not paying towards SGs wages' it is ultimately about getting him away from the club. If he was out the door and still being paid the remainder of his contract I would be more likely to return. I hear the arguments for him being hard to extract and that he is working his notice but nothing is happening and we're not being told how or when that will be. For me the only means I feel I have to try and get the club to listen is by withholding my money and others may be the same.
  24. Looks like someone's trying to pick an argument. Anyone selling popcorn?
  25. Well done to the team. A nice win and a few goals will do wonders for the confidence.
