Because he's not being played as a striker.
  2. As someone who answers every question with a question I'm not sure he knows what a straight answer is. I've come to accept that we are screwed no matter what happens. All the digging into companies house and linkedin and google and all the blethering of fans and amateur journalists on here will not make a single iota of difference. I'm going to attend games and try and get some enjoyment from the little time we have left as a club. **** them all and I hope Morrison and Gardiner rot in hell for what they've done to us.
  3. Ferguson refering to S7V as new owner and saying he's already had discussions on player budget.
  4. There's a cult somewhere missing their special mascot.
  5. And when the reporter is also a club employee.
  6. You think a player should be benched for doing what the manager is asking them to do?
  7. Signing new players when we don't have money to pay the existing ones at the end of the month sounds like an amazing thing to be doing.
  8. Never attribute to malice that which can be accounted for through stupidity.
  9. There's no value in the lease to anyone other than the club and cgf. If the club default on the rent the lease is cancelled. Even If transferred to another entity the restriction on use/purpose remains. If the club goes out of existence then the leaseholder is still liable for rent. If the other entity wants change of use the cgf just need refuse and keep collecting the rent. The other entity is then paying for something they can't use and are likely to give it up. The cgf are then free to do a deal with highest bidder and keep all proceeds for themselves.
  10. It was clarified previously that the stadium does not fall within the freeport zone.
  11. They could call on the support of or back the actions/wishes of the fans/members. Increasing membership numbers has been done to increase representation. Use it instead of ignoring it.
  12. I'm talking about cgf policy. Go have a read as they're on public record.
  13. Therein lies a big part of the problem. The supporters trust have and still do allow the club to treat them like that with zero consequence. As I said already it's weak and passive.
  14. It has nothing to do with whether or not it benefits the club it has to do with whether or not it benefits the common good fund under any prescribed conditions. People forget the club is a commercial entity. There is nothing to stop the cgf looking at other commercial entities to pay them the rent on the land subject to any required planning consents etc.
  15. My reading of the response is that we'll get details when the deal is complete. He says he'll be in Inverness soon to arrange a meet and greet and not that it will be held soon. He says he understands questions need answered but details can only be released as things complete. Most worryingly he's taking council from Gardiner. If even a small number of the concerns being raised are true/accurate then it could all be too late by the time we get information or a chance to talk with him for clarification. The supporters trust need to push for talks before the deal is done or there could be no point to it.
  16. Buying a ticket for a football match should be the easiest thing in the world but somehow we seem to have turned it into such a chore.
  17. I imagine it will be as probing as the post match interviews with the manager. Am I right in saying the stadium announcer is a journalist and has done these exclusive interviews/articles previously?
  18. Zealandism is going to have a field day.
  19. They're taunting fans now. They'd have been better leaving out the entertainment 720 stuff and having it solely as a new chairman announcement.
  20. I'm not sure I can believe that the board are that far removed from reality that they would trust a ceo working his notice to be deciding the clubs future. However that clashes with the idea that the whole resignation thing is/was a hoax and he was always staying and that's equally far removed from reality. Bonus points for anyone who can come up with a sane explanation for what's going on.
  21. They ignored the majority view of fans at the last meeting and took an opposing stance. Troubles me to say it but they've shown as much willingness to listen to fans as the club and also only seem interested in membership fees and donations to the fund they're running.
  22. Do a companies house search for any of our main directors past and present and you'll find a string of dissolved companies. E.g. morrison has over 20 and some of them had suffered a wind up order including the company they renamed as the ict concert company. The red flags for me are not is what shown or not in the seventy7 ventures accounts. When it comes time to pay if he doesn't have the money he won't get his shares or whatever it is he is buying. The worry is the lack of any relevant experience and the feeling he's going to turn the club ito some kind of freak show exhibit with all the phygital tech crypto nonsense. It's the fact that he openly states that the football is the last thing to worry about in running a club. I'm starting to hope he doesn't have the money for those reasons.
  23. It's also possible the american interest didn't materialise into a deal and seventy7 was the only option left on the table.
  24. Putting this here instead of the supporters trust statement thread so it gets more attention. Hopefully the link works but you need to go look at the full conversation between two fans one of who is on the supporters trust board. There's a lot more than 3 replies as shown. It says that the supporters trust do not want to be asking questions of seventy7 ventures as they're worried it might frighten him off.

Looking at the starting 11 I'm not sure we can use the younger players as an excuse for this one. From the highlights it could have been much worse as well.
