Our squad next season
I think this is know as the 'hammer nail interface. We're seeing way too much of the club saying one thing and doing another. The idea of getting shot of Inverness based keepers and bring in a central belt based replacement reeks of a deal done or decision made when the plan was to be training at Kelty.

ICT Supporters Trust Statement: Pre-season
Someone challenged the legality claim made at the meeting and it would appear they were right to do so given the trust's latest statement.

ICT Supporters Trust Statement: Pre-season
Are people really applauding the supporters trust here? They refused to properly back the fans actions following the meeting. Then came out with a statement encouraging us to do the opposite and have now done a complete about turn with little to no explanation of the original position or the change. Not looking for anyone to round on them but also don't think we should be blowing smoke up their butts.

Our squad next season
Can't sign players if we don't have money to pay them.

Our squad next season
We're going with the 'nearest the goal is in' method instead of a dedicated keeper this season.

Kelty/ Is this a joke - merged thread
I've had and still have some concerns with the supporters trust but some of the recent comments on this thread are a bit out of order. If they have agreed to receive information in confidentiality then I don't think they should be sharing it. It would have been good to get a bit more on what kind of assurances they had received along with the statement that was a complete u-turn on the feeling of fans at the most recent meeting even if that didn't have any detail. They may currently find themselves stuck between a rock and a very hard place. Their encouraging of fans to spend money with the club on season tickets and merchandise might also come back to bite them and ruin their standing with fans.Their total silence since that statement is also concerning. All that said I don't think it's right to be intimating they can't be trusted. Noting has happened to justify that. I fall in the camp of people still refusing to buy my season ticket or any merchandise but I also hope the supporters trust were right to back a call to do so. All fans want the same thing even if we might disagree on the way we go about it. The last thing we need is to be divided and fighting among ourselves.

It's whatever you want.

Aaron Doran
It's beyond embarrassing and is now at the stage of being humiliating and degrading. Even the hope and faith of the most blindly loyal fans seems to be disappearing.

Morrison put money in but has a charge in place that shows he wants it all back out again. There's nothing wrong with that but it does indicate that his 'investment' was never philanthropic and he doesn't merit being viewed as such.

Since you're 'adding perspective' on a comment you clearly haven't seen or read I thought this might help.

In Dunc I TRUST
Are we assuming it's Ferguson's choice to stay quiet? We know everyone else at the club has been gagged.

For me it's about who's bread he gets and I have spent next to nothing with the club for over a year now so he gets none of mine. He was appointed by the board and some of them have put money in to cover his failures. They now seem to want that money back and for financing of his wage to continue from our loaves. What's more they could bleed the fans dry and we still end up in admin or worse. I know and respect that others see it differently but we're being asked to trust people who have given us no reason to do so. There's not even been any acknowledgement of accountability on their part. A little contrition goes a long way in these situations.

Unfortunately our board seem to think he (and Gardiner) are indispensable. He thought he was coming to a team that were about to get near £5 million from battery storage and car park deals.

That will be due to them holding seats for last years ST holders. If it's only 1000 then the claim of 1500 ST holders last season seems to have been an exaggeration.

Calling BS on that response. If they can't comment on individual contracts then they wouldn't have told us he had resigned. They also wouldn't be able to tell us how long players/managers had signed for etc. Just leaves the feeling that they don't want to tell us as he has a long notice period and isn't going anywhere soon.

Ross Morrison suggested on the podcast that they were but maybe I misunderstood.

Season Tickets + Resignation Confirmation
What you say is true but it's not the whole story. Directors putting money in previously have done so to cover losses they were responsible for/willing to cover. They knew they weren't getting it back and it never put to club at risk financially. Other things did in earlier years such as Stadium costs, but people stepped in to remove that risk. Whatever are thoughts on any of them protecting the club was always the priority. Ross Morrison was different insofar as he was putting money in expecting (needing?) to get it back. He is the first Director to put a charge in place to cover loans given. It is those securities which are likely to be the biggest barrier to investment at the moment. If he didn't have the money to burn and nobody else was going to cover losses then he should have been cutting costs and ensuring existing income streams were secure in order to get the club into a financially stable position. Everyone knows what happened instead and it doesn't need going over again. Looking at accounts the club had next to no debt when he took the reins. Now we have at least £300k of non-director debt and at least £1.5 million of secured debt.

I don't expect we'll see any more than 2 or 3 signings (mostly loans) beyond what we have. The rest will be academy players. I'm ok with that.

New kit 2024
Blame Hallmark. It's nothing but a marketing gimmick.

New kit 2024
I'm not loving it but I think it may look ok on the park (from distance). Up close it just looks very busy and distracting. Hopefully it will have the same effect on the opposition...lol.

New kit 2024
Given the need to save money it makes sense to have a kit made up of left over bits.

To be announced on Monday that the first 15 people to buy a season ticket are in the squad for 2024/25.

Inverness Thistle to make comeback?
They've let the ICTFC badge expire so I'm guessing others may have also. Hopefully the noted status isn't foreshadowing.

Our squad next season
Just been told that we were previously paying in the region of £50k a year for player medical insurance. Decision was taken to bring in a sports science to try and prevent injuries and insurance was cancelled. Another decision that's worked out well!

That depends on the definition and context of the 'good news'.
